THUD! Scott had a real habit of missing the last step on any particular flight of stairs. Well, it didn't even have to be stairs. It could be a narrow path, a ledge, or even a wide open field. It just seemed habit of his that if there was even something irregular in his path, he'd trip over it. Rubbing his blond head, he sat up after having missed a step. His duffel bag had mercifully remained shut, thus saving him from having to do any previously unnecessary clean up. Clad in a simple pair of jeans and an even simpler blue T-shirt that reflected the very same color as his eyes, he opened the door to what was to be his dormitory. Military school had been his parent's last resort. Frankly, he was almost honored that he'd been able to push them so far. And all because of a few bad grades. Well... Quite a few bad grades. He had the rest of the evening to get settled, and tomorrow, they'd begin 'drilling.' Scott wasn't terribly worried, though. How bad could military school be? Oh, how much she had dreaded the day to enter this school. Her dark blue eyes glared at the flag waving in the sky. Her hair in a very messy ponytail. "Maybe I'll get kicked out.." she whispered to herself, opening up the door to the room she would be staying in. Seeing a guy already in there, she thought nothing of it, as she placed her things down. She glanced back at him. He didn't look half bad. Most of the boys where she lived looked the same almost. It was annoying. Fixing her hair down to it falling over her shoulders, she turned around to him. "So, I guess we are room mates, hm?" she said tilting her head to the side. "I'm Anna." Scott blinked, and rolled over onto his stomach, on his bed. "Scott." He said, as both a way of greeting her and introducing himself. He'd never conversed much with the opposite sex, not out of shyness, but rather out of apathy. He'd just never really met anyone that he was interested in. "What'd you do?" He asked bluntly. If she was here... SHe'd done something. Whether it was drugs, failing classes, stealing... It was something. Everyone was here for a reason. Scott's reasons all stemmed from his apathy. Anna put on a small broken smile. "I stole a car then wrecked it to pieces." she said sitting down on her bed. "Anyway...if I fail school here I can go home quickly." she said to herself, taking out a small book. "Which will take me...three weeks to do. Not a problem." closing the book, she looked back up at Scott. "You can use to shower first, I'm still getting settled in." It occurred to Scott that he probably should have a shower. Especially since he was rooming with a girl. Had she been a guy, he wouldn't have felt the need to bother. Pulling off his shirt, socks, and shorts, he made the walk across the room in his boxers, a yawn on his lips as he shut the door to the bathroom and shucked off his shorts. Turning the nozzle, he let the water hit him, stepping into the shower stall. It was nice. Hot water in the shower was something he wasn't used to. Anna finished getting her things settled in, then stood up as soon as she heard the water turn off. It would be awkward for her slightly, to share a room with a guy. But, she wouldn't act any different. Grabbing her shirt and shorts and towel, she stood in place waiting for him to get out. 'It would be awkward if he were clumsy..' she thought to herself with a small sigh. After taking a relatively short shower, he stepped out of the stall and toweled himself off, starting at his head and working his way down to his feet. Opening the door quickly, his feet caught on the edge of his towel as he attempted to stop quickly She was standing practically right been in front of the door, and he wasn't ready! Barely managing to keep the towel wrapped around his waist, he went spilling forward, taking her down with him. When all was said and done, he found himself laying on top of her, fortunately still wearing his towel. "... Don't stand in front of the door..." He advised, before quickly getting up, a bit embarrassed by the whole situation. Anna hadn't ever had a guy that close to her, so she blushed. "Y-Yeah.." she said sitting up rubbing her head. "Sorry." she said getting up and going into the bathroom quickly. Closing the door behind her, she put a hand to her head. "Jeez.." she whispered to herself, before turning the water on, and stepping in. It was sort of warm, not so bad, and took a quick shower. Far too lazy and apathetic to redress immediately, he just went to lay on his bed, his towel still wrapped loosely about his hips. He closed his eyes, and almost felt a little like nodding off. He didn't fall asleep, but he did close his eyes, a yawn escaping his lips as he laid on his stomach. Anna put the towel around her self, and didn't think of it, and left the bathroom. Spotting him half naked on his bed, she blushed. "Scott please, put some clothes on." she looked away and scrambled behind a screen to get dressed. "At least cover yourself more.." she said quietly, slipping on her night clothes. Cursed to hate wearing bras at night, she crossed her arms across her chest. "I'm covering everything that matters." He said with a yawn, pressing his head against his pillow and taking a quick glance backwards to make sure that he actually was covered by his towel. It turned out that he was, and no one was lazier than Scott. Closing his eyes again, he turned his head away from her. "Sorry I fell on you." "Hey...it's alright." Anna said softly sitting down at the edge of his bed. Keeping her arms crossed. "So your clumsy...I'll keep that in mind." she said glancing back at him. "What did you do to get here?" "Didn't do anything. That was the problem." He chuckled a slow, lazy chuckle. "Didn't do homework, didn't join a team, didn't eat... Parents figured I'd get some motivation out of military school." He said with a mocking chuckle. "Not quite Grand Theft Auto, but apparently it was enough." He didn't look at her as he spoke, but his eyes were open. "So, forced here hm?" she said looking over at him. "Me too...The forced here part." She glanced over at him. "Keep a secert for me, okay?" she turned over to him. "I...was blackmailed." she said softly looking back at the ceiling. "I actully was injured in a crash. It made me loose feeling some but, not much." "Blackmail, huh? That sucks." There wasn't much sympathy in his voice. "Whos blackmailing you?" He asked through another yawn, very much seemingly uninterested, though he did pity her. "Who has anything to gain frmo sending you to military school?" "No idea.." Anna said softly rubbing her eyes. "Anyway...it's getting late, we should get some sleep." she said softly standing up from the bed, then tripping over her own foot. Falling to the ground, she caught herself. Turning around, she didn't yet notice her night shirt and flown up right over her right breast. And giving away a clear view at the lacey dark red panties she wore under it. "Stupid..." she whispered to herself. Blinking, he turned his head just in time to see her blunder. Now, he may have been lazy, but he was also male. Clearing his throat, he yawned. "Tellin' ME to put somethin' on... Least I haven't flashed you, yet." He said with an annoying little chuckle. He didn't seem like he wanted to sleep.. He just wanted to lay down. And that was exactly what he was planning on doing, until sleep finally did claim him. Anna fixed her shirt quickly as soon as she realized. "I fell.." she said standing up quickly embarassed. She wasn't really sleepy but, she wanted to lay down. "I'm turning out the lights.." she said softly turning it off and laying down in the bed. "Fine by me. I can ditch the towel." He said, doing just that when the light went off, and crawling beneeath the covers. He didn't even own a pair of pajamas. Yawning deeply, he rolled over so that he was facing her bed, and closed his eyes, feeling sleep begin to come over him. Anna turned over as soon as she thought he was asleep. Getting out of the bed, she slowly snuck to the door. She needed fresh air. As it happened, he was asleep. However, he was an incredibly light sleeper for someone so lazy, and got up when he heard her sneak out. He almost made it out the door, too, before realizing he was naked. Grabbing a pair of boxers, he slipped them on and followed her silently. Anna put her hands down onto her side, and didn't bother to cover her chest anymore. She leaned her head back, and looked relaxed. Clearing his throat, he sat down next to her, his eyes cast outwards, another yawn on his lips. "So, how often do you plan on sneaking off? Do I need to invest in earplugs? He barely seemed to even take notice of the fact that she wasn't wearing a shirt. Anna quickly then covered up her chest. "I...only do it when I need to have fresh air." she said looking back over at him. "You didn't have to follow me, I'm only out here for a short time."
