Rick Stratton. That name alone was 'nuff said. Rick wasn't the most pleasant personality. He was sixteen with a hell of a mean streak, as well as a temper that matched his stature--he stood at a mere 5'4". He claimed he was still waiting for his growth spurt, though. Product of a dysfunctional family, he enjoyed taking the frustrations of his home life out on those that happened to be near him. Don't get him wrong, though, he never exploded because of nothing, he always was justified. And every trip to the office, he was allowed to present his justification. Surprisingly, the faculty were pretty understanding with him because of his great academic performance. Still, he practically lived at school with how often he would have detention and in-school suspensions, it was a lifestyle for him. Wearing a black beanie and an oversize fleece, Rick proceeded down the hall during lunch, bearing toward the cafeteria. Hiding in his clothes was something he specialized in. He was never seen without long sleeves on, even on burning hot days, it was a strange sight, but people generally didn't talk about it for fear of starting something. Some poor soul decided today that he wanted to jostle with Rick today. "Aye Rick, what's up, man?" a voice called out. It was James, one of the most annoying kids ever in Rick's mind. He was a nerd, and a hardcore one at that. Rick decided to take a breath and just keep walking. Why give him any attention? "I got a 97% on my last test, I think that bumps my average above yours in English," the kid taunted, obviously not knowing how thin of ice he was treading on as he got within arms-length of Rick. "I care so much," Rick stated before he swiftly spun around, outstretching his arm and effectively clotheslining him to the ground. "See this face? See it?" Rick spat out, his voice a hiss as he looked down at James, who was nodding his head in terror. "That face means today is a frickin' bad day to mess with me, got it?" he explained in as simple of terms as possible. James seemed to get the message. One of his friends, however, decided to give Rick a shove to tell him to back off. Rick simply exhaled and delivered a swift punch in the gut, his facial expressions remaining flat as he held the kid up, trying not to seem too violent. It was only a matter of moments before the school administrators saw him. Best to try to make the scene look a little more innocent. In his current position, with the kid doubling over on his fist, it sure looked a lot like Rick was still delivering a few jabs to his stomach. Kena was currently in her social studies class. She wasn't the smartest in the class, let alone the prettiest. She stood at around 5'3 and was an average sixteen year old girl. Her thin framed glasses rested on her head as she walked out of the class room. School was almost done, finally. She couldn't take much more of this place. Her brown hair going over her shoulders ever so slightly, and her green eyes hidden. Unlike all of girls in her class, she was one of those girls no one talked to. Someone quiet and to herself at school. Even though she was completely different from the others. She didn't give a crap what they would say about her. Turning the corner, she spotted a small crowd. "Whats going on?" she wondered and ran towards the small crowd pushing her way to the front. It was Rick, oh fun. The smartest fight, I guess. It had gone on all year, bad day equals bad day for the student talking to him. Taking out a pencil she looked down at it. Maybe...this would distract him! She took the chance. And tossed it. Causing it to hit the back of his head. "C-Crap." she was frozen in place as she stared at him. As Rick finally let James' friend go, he felt something clock him in the back of the head. Another heckler? "Are you kidding?" he thought, looking around a bit until he saw Kena staring at him. He knew he probably had a class or two with her, but didn't know anything about her. The gall it took to harass him in the middle of a confrontation, though? He quickly walked up to her and got in her face, from her and forcing her to back herself up to the wall, at which point he leaned in so he was a couple inches from her face. "What the hell are you trying to do?" he asked, his voice almost a snarl. Of course, beating up a girl was usually out of the question, but he would certainly harass her if she wanted to give him lip about it. Who the hell throws stuff at somebody in the middle of something like that? Seriously. The crowd started to dissipate as Rick stood face-to-face with Kena, obviously losing interest in this little "interaction" of his. Kena tilted her head away from his. This was just a perfect way to end the day huh? "Nothing." Kena said looking up at him, trembling slightly. "I was trying to distract you. That's all...and I missed and hit your head." she closed her eyes. "I'm sorry." she said standing in place. What was he going to do? Maybe...he had a good day and would let her go! "E-Excuse me." she said sliding to the side and began walking quickly. That was it? Seriously? Huh? Rick placed a hand on the wall in front of Kena. "Who gave you that bright idea?" he asked, narrowing his eyes at her. Being harassed/challenged and being walked away from were two things that irked him. He wasn't about to let this girl get away with both. The worst part for Rick was the fact that she was a bit smaller than him and had the guts to screw with him. A few inquisitive eyes started to wander toward the two as Rick's arm blocked Kena's path. "Here, come with me," he said with mock sweetness, motioning toward the door leading outside. Around the side of the school there probably wouldn't be anybody to see. He didn't plan on beating her up, maybe a little bit of a roughing up to figure out who put her up to it, but hopefully it wouldn't escalate. Then again, Rick seemed to have a tendency to allow things to escalate. He let out a long breath and used his arm to nudge Kena, taking care to keep from touching her with his hands. "Walk." Kena took a step back and looked at Rick. A complete accident, now going out of control. She looked away from him, and turned around like he had sad and began walking. What was he going to do to her? She wanted to know. But, part of her was scared. As soon as they got outside and onto the side of the school. She put her glasses away into her bag. "W-What...?" she asked softly in a small stutter. "I said I was sorry." After reaching the side of school, Rick looked at Kena, furrowing his eyebrows a bit, doing his best to try to scope her out, get a feel for her. Not too much luck there, she just seemed timid and afraid. He spoke calmly and evenly. "I don't know you, you don't know me. Why'd you fuck with me?" he asked. "If somebody put you up to it, just tell me, it's their ass not yours." Beneath all his clothes, Rick was getting a bit hot... damn the sun. He took a breath and felt a bead on sweat on his forehead immediately being soaked up by the beanie. He blinked hard and squinted at Kena, doing his best to maintain his appearance of dominance in this situation. How long had it been since he'd taken a drink? It must've been before gym, he sure felt dehydrated. "No one talks to me, so no one told me to do it." she said leaning against the wall still. Seeing the sun coming down right onto Rick. She looked down. "It's just you always get into fights. And I thought..it was getting out of hand." she went into her bag and pulled out a bottle of water. "H-Here." she said lifting it up to him. "You look thirsty." Rick's expression was a mix of disbelief and exhaustion as he heard Kena's reply. "You covering for somebody or are you some hero?" he asked, half-sarcastic. When she extended the water bottle to him, he grunted. Obviously the latter. She probably believed in caring for others, being nice, and all the crap associated with those kinds of things. Rick already knew how the real world worked, the real world was jacked up. "I look thirsty? I'm fine, don't console me," he spat out, the spite evident in his words, his recently assumed belief of her led him to a very deep disliking of her. In response, he swatted down the water bottle and got in her face again. "Look out for yourself, you aren't a hero." His face rested mere inches from hers once more as he pinned her to the wall. It was easy for him to establish his own formidable stance whenever he was facing somebody smaller than him. The dehydration was getting to him, though, he had to take deeper breaths now and he actually had a couple trickles of sweat on his face. Kena flinched and looked up at him. "You're short of breath." she said as she looked up at him. She tilted her head down. "People always act like that...even though I really do care." she bent down and picked up the water bottle. Opening it up, she put it into his mouth. "Drink it...don't be hardheaded and passout. Please." she was still trembling. Even if she was scared a bit, he hadn't hit her. And his breath was shaking slightly. "Please." she said a bit more softer. "I'm not an idiot like you.." she whispered out. "I actully care for others more." Rick narrowed his eyes at Kena and pulled his head to the side, letting a bit of water run on him as he spit the rest out onto the ground to his left. "Do I look like a baby? Do you think I don't know when I need a drink?" he was irate, though he was trying not to be too agressive toward Kena. He grabbed a hold of her shoulders and pressed her against the wall, closing his eyes a moment before he looked at her again. "I don't need your sympathy, all right? Take your care and give it to somebody that needs it, I pass." his hands trembled as he gripped Kena, though it wasn't certain if he was shaking with rage or just out of his lack of hydration. Kena dropped the water bottle. "You might get the highest grades in class..but you're still." she closed her eyes. "An I-Idiot." she said outloud so he could hear. She felt kind of sad. Every time she tried to help, someone pushed her down. "You need water." she said tilting her head up to looked at him. Rick shrugged. "Been called worse than that," he stated nonchalantly before he pulled his hands off, closing his eyes tightly for a moment. Kena was harmless enough, perhaps too kind for her own good, but aggressing her any further would be an exercise in futility, she just kept trying to be nice to him. Almost disgusting. "I told you, I don't need any damned water," he muttered as evenly as he could. "Stop telling me what I need, you'd think I would know, huh?" he continued on, obviously a bit heated--in more ways than one. "Why the hell is stuff spinning..." Rick thought as he looked at Kena with one eye cocked. Oi vei. "I think your pride...is a bit to much." Kena said softly. And looking away from him. "Please. Leave me alone.." she said sliding to the side. Trying to get away, her back went to him quickly. Somewhat delusional at this point, Rick quickly went on the offensive, thinking she'd turned to produce a weapon or something. "Get down, now!" he shouted before he pounced at her and took her to the ground. The tussle that ensued was confusing and quick, but Rick did his best to find and secure her hands so she couldn't do anything. "What are you trying to pull?" he panted, clearly exhausted from his own burst of energy and the incursion that had followed. Now shit was just going crazy, it was all fuzzy. Rick squinted at Kena and slowly slumped to the ground, releasing his hold on her. He simply moaned and closed his eyes. Kena blushed slightly. "...Rick." she said pushing him off and sat up. "A-Are you okay?" she asked with slightly wide eyes. She took the water bottle she put some water into her mouth. "..." and then kissed him, and then kissed him on the lips. "!" putting the water into his mouth. She quickly pulled away, whipping her lips. Rick's body lay limp on the ground for a few moments after Kena put the water into his mouth. Before too long, however, he drank it in and let out a heavy breath, obviously shaken up. "Unnh..." he mumbled, taking a few deep breaths as he looked over at Kena, who had just finished wiping her lips. He was a little clueless about what had happened over the past minute or so. "What's going on? Damn..." he mumbled out, grabbing his head, he had a bit of a headache from the dehydration. "You didn't help me, did you?" he muttered, realizing he probably had passed out, since he didn't recall anything. Of course she helped him, she was the only one there. He winced and looked at her hard for a few seconds. "Thanks... but don't expect any favors," he told her, tagging on the last bit as an afterthought. Rick took a few moments to back himself to the wall and rest against it, taking deep breaths as he did so. "I won't. Just don't be mad a had to mouth-to-mouth it to you." Kena said looking away. "You're so hardheaded It's annoying." she said rubbing her head. "Just...rest and drink the rest of this." she said looking away. Mouth-to-mouth it? ... Mouth. To. Mouth. It. MOUTH-TO-MOUTH IT? Rick gave Kena the WTF face and just froze, the shock evident on his face. That was definitely a revelation he didn't need. "Why...?" he muttered, making a sour face as he realized he'd just drank her backwash, essentially. "That knowledge didn't make my life any better," he moaned, grabbing at the bottle and chugging it down, though there had been a bit of a flavor of Kena that he'd liked, he wouldn't admit that. There was another moment of silence as Rick looked at Kena. "Don't you get shy, if it was necessary to revive me, then there's no shame... but if you were making a move, that's just weird ass stuff," he told her. Kena looked back at him. "I had no choice!" Kena said tilting her head away and crossing her arms. "I don't like you like that. So just get that idea out of your head." "Duly noted," Rick said, raising his hands, "no need to get all defensive, sheesh." He took a deep breath and leaned against the wall. It was probably about 20 minutes after the end of school by now... not that he cared. Home was about the last place he ever wanted to be. Giving Kena his first honest once-over, Rick nodded at her. "Your parents won't be worried where you're at? I'm sure they want you home," he told her. It was a bit uncharacteristic, but he was just... getting rid of her, he didn't care about her. No sirree, not him. Kena looked away. "Parents are out if town. So no." she said standing up. "But I can take a hint. I'll go." she said as she looked down at him. "You be careful. You might pass out again." she said bluntly, to bother him. "See you." she said as she began to walk. For being so kind and benevolent, she sure knew how to push his buttons. Wincing a bit, he stood up and started to trail behind her a bit. "Lip off to me over and over... sure," he thought, slowly catching up to her. He was still a bit sore, so he didn't want to overdo it, but the longer he followed her, the more he stewed. And stew he did for a good 50 feet before his opportunity came. The two were off school grounds by now and on a little trail headed up into the residential area when he took his chance to tackle her, bringing her down hard with him and rolling off the path. Ironically, it was the water she'd given him that gave him enough strength to pull such a feat off. "You think you're so clever, huh?" he asked bitingly as he sat atop her and slapped her once. "Is that what it is?" he asked a bit louder, obviously still pissed off and building. He lashed out again. There was more to his attack than simple smartass behavior. "And your parents aren't home, huh? Nobody to baby you like you baby everybody else?" he placed his hands on her throat and began to apply pressure. "I bet they treat you great!" he exclaimed, pressing harder as his frustration built. "Ah-" Kena was caught off guard. "W-What are you..." she grabbed at his arm. "Stop i-it.." she said feeling her cheek sting. "Rick..." she let out a small choking noise. Only caring got her into this? Or was he really so thick headed? She closed her eyes. "Please stop it.." Rick continued his assault, now hollering seeming nonsense. "Your life's so fuckin' good you gotta go share with everybody? Why the hell should I stop?" he asked her before he leaned in so his face was right above hers and he released his grip on her neck, allowing her a bit of air. "Not everyone can afford to be loving to everybody around them like you, wanting to spread happiness and joy and bullshit to the whole world. I don't have that damned luxury. Your life is that good, huh?" he continued in a low voice, every word dripping with venomous hatred. Not necessarily at her, but at something about her. Kena stared at him and shook her head slowly. "It isn't...great." she said breathing for air. "It's hard for me, because I never see my parents." she closed her eyes. "I can't help the way I act." she said quietly. "Everyone at school doesn't even talk to me." she looked at him hurt. "You have no right. To say anything like that to m-me.." There was no sympathy from Rick at all as he pulled his head back and snarled a bit. "Boo-hoo, you never get to see your parents, I'm sorry, let me get you a tissue. I wish I had your problem. I'm still waiting for the day my dad decides to overdose and die," he told her, tears stinging at his eyes. Oh hell no he was not about to lose it in front of her. Rick stood up quickly and started away, taking a few deep breaths. "Get away, now," he ordered himself. Kena flinched and stared at him sadly. "Y-You..." she was trembling slightly and turned his face to her. "Y-You're crying." she said pulling her hand away. "I'm sorry." There was severe hesitation from Rick as he winced when Kena turned his face. He was almost expecting to get slapped, honestly, especially after he'd done it to her a couple times. Instead, he heard her stammer and apologize. What was with this girl? "I know, my life's such a sob story," he told her sarcastically, a tear streaming down his face in spite of his stubborn refusal to cry. He turned back and started off again, the longer he stayed, the more liable he was to make a scene in front of her. That would be something he would never live down. Kena tiled her head down slightly. "Is that why you're like this?" she asked quietly. "Truthfully..Is it?" she asked again unable to sit up. She touched her cheek, and closed her eyes. Fighting back tears, it still hurt from before. "Nevermind." she said quietly. "It's not my business.." she said sitting up slowly. "Ow." she whispered touching her ankle. It felt twisted. Explaining to Kena why Rick was so screwed up was not on his agenda today, but he cast a backward glance as he spoke, "I'm like this because I am; everybody's screwed up." Upon closer inspection, though, he saw Kena touching her ankle and wincing a bit. "Your ankle all right?" he asked, doing his best to seem like he had no genuine concern in his voice. Kena looked over at him. "It's twisted." she said softly as she tried standing up. "I-I'm okay." she said clearly lying. "...I'm sorry about today." she said as she touched her neck slightly then her cheek again. "I'll see you at school tomorrow.." For the first time in a long while, Rick felt guilty when he looked at Kena. Her cheeks were red from him slapping her, her neck had the outlines of his fingers still on it, and her ankle had been twisted from when he tackled her. It didn't seem like much, but when you consider that he afflicted this to her when she did nothing, he couldn't help but feel sick in his stomach. "No you're not, you lie worse than me," he told her, stepping back toward her as he looked toward her in shame. "And... and... it wasn't about you. You shouldn't have gotten hurt," Rick said, his words a little discombogulated as he spoke, he wasn't even sure if the point he meant to communicate had gotten across. "I'll help," he offered hesitantly, seeing if Kena would turn down his offer or not. Kena looked back at him, not believing what she heard. "..O-Okay." she said softly. Standing in place. She held her bag in her other arms. "Rick?" she said softly looking over at him, then tilted her head down. "Do you know my name?" she asked waiting on him. Reluctantly approaching, Rick paused when she asked if he knew her name. He shook his head. "Naw, you never gave me trouble," he said under his breath. Lame excuse, half the people that "gave him trouble" he never learned the names of anyway, but it was the best he could come up with at the moment. "What is it?" he asked before he bent down in front of her. "Get on before I get cold feet about this," he ordered flatly. Kena obeyed and got onto his back. Leaning her head down onto his shoulder. She whispered quietly. "It's Kena." she told him and putting her arms around front to keep her balance. Rick buckled a bit as he stood up, exerting a lot of effort to get himself all the way upright, but once he did, it was pretty cake, Kena was light enough that she didn't present him with much problem. When she pulled her arms around him, though, he sighed heavily. This is what it felt like to have somebody touch you. "Well, Kena... I'm in rare form today. Most people don't get a piggyback the first day I meet them," he replied. His statement was accurate, certainly, but he was being far from serious at the moment. Borderline playful, but still bitingly sarcastic. That shield of caustic behavior was his wall from the world. "Where do you live?" he asked, starting down the trail, assuming she lived somewhere down it. After a few steps, Rick realized that he had to help support her or she'd just slide off his back, so he looped his arms around and let her thighs rest on them, wincing for a moment as he did so, but then he continued onward. "At the end of this road." Kena said softly. "It's seriously not far at all." she said looking at him confused slightly. "Are you okay? You're kind of...jumpy." she said shuging slightly. "It's okay.." putting her head back down on his shoulder. She felt sleepy. Closing her eyes she relaxed and fell asleep. "If I wasn't okay, I assure you I'd bitch," he announced proudly, seeing the end of the path in sight. At least it wasn't all that far... Continuing on, Rick didn't really try to talk to Kena. He was mostly relying on her to drive some sort of narrative between the two of them, mainly because he was "socially inept." Even being the social retard he was, he realized that she wasn't saying anything at all and thought it awkward. Kena's breathing was rather rhythmic as well, he turned his head to investigate and saw her head on his shoulder, eyes closed. Sleeping? Well, there was a new use for his back. He grunted a bit and muscled up for the remainder of the trip, finally making it back to her house. He jumped up and down a bit to wake Kena up. "Aye, we're home," he told her quietly. Kena slowly opened her eyes. "H-Home.." she said rubbing her eyes. "R-Right.." she said getting out her key, and bending forward a bit. Causing her chest to push up against him. "..There." she said unlocking the door. "The living room is over there." she said pointing ahead. Rick felt Kena's body rubbing against him and paused for a moment. He'd never really been involved with a girl before. Sure, he knew that there were... differences between the two sexes and whatnot, but had he experienced any of it? Hell no. Something about feeling Kena moving against him while unlocking the door was very appealing to him, though. After she reached for and grabbed the doorknob, he stepped inside and went to the big room that she'd pointed at. "Oof," he muttered as he set her down on the couch and then plopped down on the floor in front of her, laying his head back between her legs with a heavy sigh. "Safe and sound," he mumbled, closing his eyes. Kena looked down at Rick and smiled down at him. "Thank you. For bringing me home, Rick." she said leaning back on the couch. She was happy to be home. Finally. "It's fine," Rick said quietly, "anything to get away from home is good, really." He tilted his head back a bit to look up at Kena, rubbing his head into her while he did so, but to no avail, she was leaned back, so he couldn't see her. Instead, he picked himself up and climbed onto the couch beside her. Rick felt his stomach growl a bit and bit his lip. "Not to mooch, but you got any food? I'll leave you alone if you just like, toss me a bag of chips. I don't have cash and I just want something in my stomach so I don't have to go home to eat," he explained. Kena looked over at him, then pointed to the kitchen close by. "There are left overs from the dinner I made last night. Go raid the fridge if you'd like." she said looking over at him. "I'll be right here." Nodding a bit, Rick picked himself up and went to the kitchen, just grabbing a bag of chips. He thought about simply walking back and eating it, but then he paused a bit. Kena was hurt... and though he didn't want to seem soft at all, offering to grab her something would be good, seeing as how she was letting him eat and all. "Need anything?" he inquired, sounding as nonchalant as possible. Kena looked over at him and shook her head. "No, I'm alright. Not hungry at the moment." she put her foot to the ground and winced slightly. "I'm coming into the kitchen too." she said standing up slowly. Limping and ignoring the pain, she walked into the kitchen with him. "What're you doing?" Rick protested immediately, setting the chips on the counter to hold Kena up. "Your ankle's jacked up, just lay down or whatever," he instructed, his expression a scowl as he put on a face that said "I don't care." He swept Kena up into his arms and held her, kind of like a baby. "All right, where to? I'll set you there and let it be," he stated, more as a fact than a question. "I was going to make something." Kena said blushing slightly, then looking away. "My room is upstairs." she said pointing to a door that led to some stairs. "It's the last door on the right after you get up the stairs." Rick simply nodded and walked up the stairs and brought Kena to the door, he stood and waited for her to reach and open it; at the same time, he was inadvertently copping a feel and realized it. His left arm, which supported her back, also extended down toward her waist so his hand was planted firmly on her butt. The sudden realization made Rick a little uneasy. Still, he played it off as if nothing was happening. "Do you want a sandwich or something? I can make one," he told her as he stepped into her room. Kena felt his hand, and blushed looking over at him. "No..I think I have some chips in my room." she said limping over to her bed and laying down. "Thank you. For bringing me up stairs." she said looking up at him. "Just don't mention it to anyone," Rick said, looking down a bit as he spoke. When he brought his eyes back up, however, he saw Kena's blushing and looked at her curiously. He didn't speak, though, that didn't seem advisable. "I think I'm going to eat and head out... need help to school in the morning?" he asked after a long pause. Kena shook her head. "I'll be fine my tomorrow.." she said leaning back onto her pillow. "Thank you for getting me home." she said dozing off asleep. Rick simply exhaled as he looked at Kena. He didn't move, however. Sure, he could eat and head home, but... he didn't want to go home. Heaven knows what state his parents would be in when they got home. Whatever their mood, it generally was bad or worse, so just staying away would be better. Well, if she was already asleep, then maybe Rick could just hang out at her place, all the while hoping she didn't wake up. As he watched her sleeping form, though, he found himself wondering, "What was it like when she... gave me the water...?" Affection was something he hadn't really experienced, the only times he'd ever really had his hands on somebody else was in the heat of combat, save for this Kena, who he'd barely known. But he was curious, so he crept up toward her and leaned over her, looking down on her and breathing as lightly as possible. How the hell did that work anyway? Kissing and crap, that was. He wrinkled his brow in thought, but then decided "To hell with it," and just bent down and pressed his lips on hers. Kena, who was asleep, lifted her arms up and hugged him in the kiss bringing him down to her. She kissed him back and then tilted her head away as she continued to sleep. His hand and fallen on her left breast, causing her to let out a small noise in her sleep. It sounded heavy and un-even. "Ah.." she whispered out in her sleep. From the edge of the bed, Rick was finding it a bit awkward to kiss Kena... but he found himself wanting more as she seemed to pull him into her. As quickly as he could manage, he climbed onto the bed and straddled Kena to kiss her more, finding the flesh on her neck to taste because her head was turned. He craved more and more, while his hand elicited a moan from her. A bit curious, he realized he was touching her breast and paused for a second to make sure she wasn't awake. He was finding it strange how much Kena responded while sleeping, but she only served to egg him on as he explored his newfound sexual curiosities. His hand started to massage and knead a bit while he held himself up with his other hand, moving his lips slowly toward hers again. Kena thought she was dreaming. And since talking in her sleep ran in the family she was talking in mumbles. "Don't stop that.." she whispered out softly as she kissed him again. She slowly pulled away and breathed softly. Quitting was the last thing on Rick's mind as he felt Kena's kiss and heard her voice. Instead, he slid his hand down and lifted up her shirt to let it in so he could start under her shirt and get a bit better of a feel. Slowly and steadily, his hand proceeded up her soft skin of her belly and up to her breast. Kena shivered slightly and hugged her blanket slightly. Trying to pull it up from the sudden chill going down her back. "?" she slowly opened her eyes. "W-Wha..?" Kena had slept so soundly before, why did she suddenly wake up now? Rick was clearly shocked and pulled his hand out from her shirt quickly and climbed off her so he was simply sitting on the side of the bed, trying his best to look completely natural. He didn't really say anything because he figured it would just make it more obvious what he was doing. Of course, he still felt that building pressure of desire from within, he wanted her. He placed his hand on her cheek, the same cheek he slapped earlier, and ran his fingers gently across it. Kena sat up slightly. "Rick..?" she whispered softly yawning slightly. "Is it morning already?" she asked looking up at him. "What's wrong?" she asked looking at him with a confused look. "You look dazed." she felt like someone had touched her, but she didn't think of it. "It's not morning, only a few minutes," he stated, glad that Kena wasn't making too many inquiries about why on earth he was on her bed. "I'm all right, just out of it, had a weird... feeling, that's all," Rick explained, trying to be vague so that he wouldn't be hinting specifically that he'd been getting turned on and had been feeling her up while she was sleeping. It sounded so bad when he said it like that... But he wanted more, he could feel his hands trying to move toward her, but he instead clutched the blanket to control himself. "Sleep well?" Kena looke up at him and nodded her head. "Y-Yeah." she said touching her left breast gently. "Did anything happen when I fell asleep?" she asked in a quiet tone. She looked at him with a weird look. "What's up really?" she asked leaning forward slightly. "You're clenching my bed sheets." she said looking at him. She was real close to his face, without realizing it. Kena's face was right there, Rick could feel her breath on him. And now her suspicions came out, including her feeling herself. "Not that I know of...?" Rick lied, doing his best to cover up his nervousness. If she didn't know now, he was safe, but if she found out anything... he didn't know what kind of hell there would be to pay--who was he kidding? He could overpower her... Without any words, he leaned in and closed the gap between their lips, kissing her firmly while he released his hands and held Kena's wrists, doing what he could to prevent her from protesting. Kena, who was caught off guard. Was kissed, very forcefully. Lifting up her arms to push him away and ask what the heck was he doing, grabbed her wrist. Pulling out of the kiss to breath, she stared at him with confused eyes. "W-What are you doing, R-Rick?" she asked in un-even breathes. Rick was too busy taking a couple of deep breaths from the rush of kissing Kena again before she pulled back. "I wanted to see how it feels," Rick explained, pausing before he leaned in toward Kena again, though she had leaned back out of reach. That was aggravating... now he was starting to get a little bit frustrated too... Kena tilted her head to the side. "Rick, y-you did...now let go." she said breathing softly. Going threw her mind was: What was going on? I thought he hated me! Weird..person. Rick shook his head and leaned over enough to push Kena over so he could climb onto her, his breathing ragged as he held himself over her. "I want more," he stated, not exactly like he was commanding, but it sure didn't seem like a "request." Kena stared up at him blushing slightly. "M-More?" she asked tilting her head to the side, giving away her neck. Never had she heard those words before, let alone a boy. She closed her eyes. The moment of silence before Kena spoke felt like an eternity to Rick. His palms were a bit sweaty from his nerves as he pinned Kena's hands to the bed near her head. When she didn't openly reject him, and she exposed her neck, Rick dove in hungrily, kissing and sucking on the flesh, occasionally giving a small bite. The thrill of it was unlike anything he'd experienced before, and he pressed his body down on her while he continued to work her neck. "A-Ahh.." Kena whispered out closing one eye. "R-Rick.." she whispered feeling small feelings go through out her entire body. He was kissing the one place on her body, that was extremely tender. Causing her to let out a keen moan. She closed both eyes and breathed deeply as he pressed his own body against hers. "..." she was un-able to speak as he continued to kiss her neck. Rick's desire didn't really allow him a chance to speak, but he knew that he was doing something right by Kena's reaction. On top of that, he knew he was feeling good, there was a buzz about his body, almost, as he felt himself getting hard against Kena, though he just adjusted himself so it wouldn't seem that out-of-place. Remembering how Kena had let out a similar noise when he touched her breast when she was sleeping, he decided to slide his hand up and see if he could elicit the same reaction now. Kena's breathing picked up, then stoped as he touched her breast. "R-Rick." she said looking down at him, blushing. "Stop it." she said feeling him get excited down there. "Go home." she said trying to move. But stoped, and let out a moan. "I... can't go home..." Rick stated quietly as he pulled his lips from her neck. That set his mood back momentarily, dazing him as he looked down at Kena. "Don't... make me," he requested, his hand stopped rubbing her breast, though he let it rest on it still. Kena stared up at him sadly. "Is your home life so bad...you don't want to go?" she asked quietly. "You can sleep on the couch." she said closing her eyes. "You don't like me. You said it yourself. So, why are you doing this?" Rick nodded at her first question and then paused as she asked why he was doing this. "I... you're nice to me with no reason... why can't I do something like that...?" he shot back, taking a heavy breath as he looked Kena in the eyes Kena looked strait into his eyes. "Because." she said softly. "We don't, go out or like each other. Like that." she said quickly. "That's why." Rick backed himself up and squinted for a moment, obviously in deep thought. "You said you kissed me to give me water when we weren't together like that either," he reasoned, more arguing for the sake of arguing than anything else. "Mouth to mouth is different." she said looking up at him. "You passed out, I had to get some water into you." Kena said protesting. "You are excited." she said bluntly, while blushing softly. "And I don't want to." Rick thought he'd gone unnoticed... and was quite embarrassed at the prospect that Kena had actually felt him against her. Of course, his secondary reaction was always anger, it was his way of keeping the world out. "Yeah, you'd know," he snapped back. "And you weren't protesting earlier! You kept telling me not to stop," he mumbled out, glaring at her a bit before he realized that he alluded to comments she made while sleeping; he just hoped she wouldn't call him on it. Maybe she'd gotten mixed up earlier and didn't remember what she did or didn't say. Kena blushed and looked away. "That was...I thought.." she was caught. Remembering she thought it was a dream, she closed her eyes. "You can't corner m-me." she said closing her eyes. "That's cheating.." If there was ever a good time to take it, it would be now while Kena was busy with inner conflict, trying to figure out what she really wanted. Maybe he'd have a chance to make her decide. Without saying a word, Rick slid up and kissed her neck gently, remembering how it'd made her entire body shiver when he did it before. If it created that sort of reaction, it likely gave her a very good feeling, so he tried to recreate it. "Th-That...a-aaah.." Kena moaned out a shivering moan. "Not there...to soft there.." she felt herself become wet down in her lower half. "Rick." A smile crossed Rick's lips as he heard Kena moan when he kissed her neck. It seemed she'd made up her mind. He let his teeth take an occasional turn to bite gently at her neck between his kisses while one of his hands made its way under her shirt, resting on her stomach momentarily, feeling her smooth skin. Kena trembled slightly. "Rick..?" she whispered in a confused tone. "Why me?" she asked unsteady. Rick backed up and raised his head so it was above Kena's, allowing him to look at her eye-to-eye. It took a few moments of thought, but then Rick replied simply, "Nobody will ever let me close... you did." "Close.." Kena said softly feeling a wave a sleepiness come over her. "Ricky." she said softly. "I'm tired." she said rubbing her eyes. Obviously feeling a bit uncomfortable, Rick nodded and pushed himself up. "Get to sleep... I'll eat and head out," he stated, feeling the need to escape. It was almost claustrophobic... If he were to talk to her like she was close to him, there would seriously be consequences. He wanted it, but he feared it. That, and a thousand questions were running through his head. Ricky? Why had she even let him talk to her after their incident? Why didn't she just yell at him or insult him like everybody else? Rick stood up from the bed and slowly backed away before nearly running out of the room back down to the kitchen, where the chips laid on the counter. "Okay.." Kena whispered falling asleep. The following day at school, was normal. She was to herself, ignoring the murmurs from the girls close to where she was sitting. Last night, Rick had just stayed away from the house completely, falling asleep under the porch in his makeshift fort from when he was younger. It was a perfect hiding place and allowed him some shelter as well. Of course, he hadn't managed to get into the house at all, so he was still wearing the same clothes and was a little grimy looking. Not that he cared... he didn't have to put up with Dad and Mom, so he was as happy as he could be--which, turns out, wasn't all that happy. When he walked through the cafeteria, Rick's eye caught Kena sitting by herself at a small table. The first thing he noticed were the jeers from people sitting nearby, pointing to the "loner" sitting at that table... It made Rick clench his teeth to hear their voices mocking her for no reason other than the fact she didn't talk to them or sit at their tables. What the hell was this? His eyes narrowed as he approached a table with some girls. "You think that's funny?" he asked a few of the jocks, who sneered at him as well. "Aww, is the little loser standing up for the reject?" There wasn't even hesitation as Rick jumped onto the football player. "Motherfucker!" he yelled as he started to punch him in the gut from behind repeatedly. Thus began a brawl. Kena heard Rick scream out, and she looked over her shoulder at him beating up a jock. Who moments ago was calling her names, and talking about her behind her back. Standing up from the table she fix her glasses. And turned around to see what was going on completely. "R-Rick?" she whispered staring at them. He was fighting. "H-Hey..stop fighting!" she shouted at them running towards them. "Rick stop--" she was cut off mid-sentence, when a jab to the chest cut her off. She felt her breath leave her stomach and chest. Closing her eyes she sunk to her knees, and passed out. Rage was too gentle a term to describe what had overcome Rick. Profanities flew out of his mouth at such a rate it would have made a sailor blush, and he flung himself at the couple of jocks that were assailing him from behind. One had taken a break to punch Kena, and Rick went after him with a vengeance, taking solid hits to his back and abdomen as he did so, but he ignored them to the best of his ability, wheezing and panting as he came down on the kid, cracking him across the face to drop him to the floor. After that, Rick started stomping on his chest while he screamed in pain, but that was short-lived as the others piled onto his back. Rick did his best to dance around and avoid getting completely pummeled, but with each hit, he slowed down more and more. He fell back and scooted along the floor until he found himself beside Kena. The jocks laughed at him as a couple took a few potshots at her, kicking her limp figure while she lay there. Cries of "freak" and "reject" filled the air. Rick gathered himself and piled onto Kena amidst his own abuse, using his body as a shield for her while the kicks kept coming. Rick wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes. It was almost like home all over... "What's going on in here?!" Shouted a clearly pissed off teacher. "Come with me now!" Looking down at Rick and Kena he scuffed and shook his head. "Kids these days..." he said pushing the jocks along with him. Kena still lay motionles under Rick. Not breathing. Rick sputtered, coughing slightly as he opened his eyes. The teacher had dragged away a couple of jocks and was coming back around to see the two laying on the floor. Rick rolled off and pointed to Kena. "She got hit... hard..." he explained. The teacher nodded and then ran out to get the nurse, hollering that Kena wasn't breathing. Not feeling like waiting, Rick remembered from a gym class the procedure for CPR... why not give it a shot? Rick rolled Kena over and pinched her nose shut, then he placed his lips on hers and began the process. Breath, compress, compress... Kena coughed out, trying to breath. "Rick.." she whispered horasly. "What happened?" she asked staring up at him, gasping for air. "Ow.." she whispered closing her eyes. "I can't see." she said sitting up slowly. Looking around for her glasses. They were a little ways away, and broken. "Rick...what happened?" she asked still feeling around for her glasses. "Why was there fighting?" "Some idiot looked at me wrong, so I knocked him out, his friends jumped me and you got too close to the mess," Rick lied with a weak smile on his face. He looked at Kena's groping hands and shook his head as he saw her glasses broken, laying on the ground. "Kena...? Your glasses broke." "Just great." Kena said tilting her head down. "I can't open my eyes now." she said softly. "I can but...I might get a headache." she said feeling around for his hand, until she found it. "A-Are you okay?" she asked softly, ignoring the pain going through out her body. There was a moment's pause as Rick chuckled a bit, wincing as he did so. "Yeah, I did some serious asskicking, I couldn't be happier," he told her as she held his hand. At that moment, the nurse ran up. "Are you two okay? Oh my, your glasses... and Rick... Rick. You look so nasty, come on, to the office with both of you, we'll get statements after I fix y'all up," the nurse said as she helped the two up. Rick hobbled beside Kena and the nurse down to the office. Kena sat in a chair and looked over at the nurse as she talked to Rick and fixed him up. She had bandages all over her. Yet, she was better then Rick. "Is it alright, if I go home?" she asked slowly standing up. "II heard that they were talking and picked a fight with Rick." she said as the nurse finished up with Rick. "If he can. Can Rick bring me home?" "That's not what they're saying, and there's at least five of them as witnesses... Rick?" "They were talking trash, I got angry, I jumped one of them, then it was kind of a blur until I saw Kena on the ground, so I tried to help her," Rick stated flatly. "Were they picking a fight with you?" the nurse pried. "Kinda... they weren't talking about me, but they were talking, all right?" "This young lady wants you to escort her home, now tell me the truth or I will hold you here until I get a straight answer from you, what exactly were they talking about?" the nurse threatened, her eyes piercing Rick as she did so. "All right, jeez. They were trashing Kena... I got upset because she did nothing. Happy?" Rick fired back, the agitation evident in his voice. The nurse nodded at him and Kena, "All right, you two... head on home. Rick, you're going to have to take it slow, though, mmkay? Your sides are probably really bruised up." Rick sighed and looked toward Kena. "Ready?" he asked, pretending the whole testimony hadn't happened. Kena looked up at him. Because they talked trash about her? She walked a little ways more ahead of him. As soon as they were out of school grounds, she looked up at him. "You got so mad to the point you started a fight?" she asked softly. "Rick." she said stopping then leaning up kissing him on the lips. "Thank you." she said as she began walking again. Rick was silent as Kena kissed him, not knowing what to say, exactly. He was hoping not to have to admit to it at all, but the nurse forced a confession. The walk back to Kena's was a bit longer than it should have been, especially for Rick. He'd taken a few good kicks in the legs and sides, so his pace was a bit of a hobble. "Word of this doesn't get out," Rick told Kena, wincing a bit, "I fight for me... I've got an image to uphold," he explained, taking a deep breath as he tried to keep up with her, reaching the path where he'd tackled Kena off the road yesterday. "I understand." she said putting an arm around him, and helping him up. "You're only slightly taller then me. So I can help you home." she said as she began walking slowly with him. "What do you want to do when we get back to my place?" she asked gently. With a silent nod, Rick kept pace with Kena and then stopped a moment, looking at the spot in the bushes where their tussle had occurred. "I'm not thinking that far ahead," Rick told her with a joking--albeit, weak--smile; he then stopped in his tracks and looked down. "About yesterday... over here... I didn't mean to hurt you, I was... upset," he said with a twinge of regret, talking slowly. It seemed like the words were almost forced from his mouth, but it was an honest word. "Don't worry about that.." Kena said as she began walking again. "What's done is done. No changing what happened yesterday." she said smiling up at him. "Come on. I'll make you something to eat." she said as they began to walk. Ten minutes later they arived at her house. "Go lay down I'll go make something to eat." she said walking into the kichen. As soon as she got into the kitchen though, she held her leg. 'I can't show that I'm in pain. I just can't..' she thought limping slowly to the fridge and began to make a sandwhich. At first, Rick went to the couch and sat there for a bit, taking a couple deep breaths as Kena went off to take care of him, but he grew bored with waiting after a few moments. Why should he let her serve him? Instead, he gingerly stood up and walked toward the kitchen, spotting her limping as he looked at her getting fixings out of the fridge. She obviously was hurting... "Kena... you're in no better shape than me... take a break," he ordered, sighing as he did so. "Huh?" Kena looked over her shoulder at him. "I-I'm fine." she said as she finished making the sandwhich. "Here." she said lifting up a plate with his food on it. "Your dinner." she said softly walking towards him. "Come on, let's go back into the livingroom." "You're limping," Rick stated simply as she approached him. She obviously wasn't about to admit to it, but he knew... "Thanks," he said as she extended the plate to him. He took it and then made his way to the couch, where he took a seat and started to eat the sandwich. Kena looked away. "Don't worry about it.." she said softly sitting down next to him. "I'm fine." she said resting in her seat. She leaned her head against his shoulder. "...Night." she said softly falling asleep. If there was one thing that Kena appeared to be proficient at, it was sleeping. Rick shook his head after he finished up his sandwich and looked to his shoulder, thinking that Kena probably couldn't be comfortable like that, so he gently lifted her head and placed it in his lap, running his hands lightly along the side of her face while she slept. He probably would have to leave before too long... Wearing out his welcome was something he didn't want to do. Kena touched his hand and held it in her sleep. "Don't go. Okay?" she said softly as she slightly looked up at him. "Stay. At least for the night. Please." she said turning slightly into the couch. Clinging to his shirt slightly as well she fell back asleep. There was no protest from Rick at Kena's request as she held his hand and fell back asleep. "Okay, I'll stay... for the night," he told her. He wouldn't be missed at home, anyway... Still, he wasn't tired, so he'd have to do something while Kena slept. He'd figure that out in a moment, once Kena seemed comfortable enough. Kena fell asleep seven minutes later. "..." turning into her back, she was out in the open. Again, for him. She laid still holding his shirt slightly. Rick looked down at Kena and smiled. It was the first time in a while he'd honestly smiled. For some reason, this girl... he didn't know what it was, but over the past day or so, he'd found that he thought a lot less about home... Save for a few high-strung moments. Unable to resist the urge, Rick took a moment to fulfill his newfound addiction to kissing, pressing his lips against Kena's while she slept. Kena felt him kiss her, but didn't say anything. She tilted her head to the side. There was a moment's pause as Rick savored the taste of Kena's lips. He liked it... he liked her. But he didn't want to cause an awkward scene like last time, so he did the best he could to remain satisfied with one kiss, breathing lightly on Kena's face as he pulled away. What else was there to do in this house...? Well, after he got Kena off his lap, that was. Maybe he'd just eat and go hide out someplace... Who knows. Kena sat up slowly off of his lap. "...I'll be back. I need go to the bathroom." she said softly. Standing up wobbley. And going to the stairs. Slowly walking up them, she got into her room. Grabbing her night shirt. She began to un-dress, but she triped over her foot and fell to the floor letting out a scream. "Owowow.." she whispered holding her self. Rick was barely in this world whenever Kena told him she needed to go up, so it registered barely in time for him to say, "Okay," as she got up. He didn't think much of it until he heard a scream from upstairs, at which point he charged up to find her. He walked into the bedroom, he saw her laying on the ground with shirts in either hand. "Kena?" he said, kneeling down beside her as she held herself. "What happened, are you okay?" he asked, grabbing her and cradling her as best as he could. "I-I tripped.." Kena said blushing softly. Not only was he hugging her, he was talking to her worried like. "A-Are you okay, Rick...you sound worried." she said covering her chest with her arms. She was the type of girl- even though she was big for her age in the chest area- who didn't like bras. So, she had to cover herself. "I'm okay, just got scared. And hit my side slightly." Rick paused as Kena asked if he was okay or worried. "I... just thought something bad happened," he told her, looking down as he tried to deny his worry for her. As she mentioned her side getting hit, Rick's hand slid there and started to rub gently. "Which side?" he asked, taking an uncharacteristic role as a mother, almost... Kena flinched and touched her right side. "R-Right there.." she said softly looking up at him with her green eyes. "Rick. You're acting like a mother." she said laughing softly. Her left arm still covering her chest, she blushed. "M-Maybe I s-should get dressed.." Rick stroked her side gently and glared down playfully at Kena as she mentioned his motherly behavior. "Not a word of this gets out, or I'll hunt you down," he said in a mockingly menacing tone, cracking a bit of a smile as he did so. When Kena mentioned that she should get dressed, Rick actually had a cognizant realization that Kena was topless... he bit his lip and tried not to look at her chest. "I don't mind..." he said hesitatingly. Kena blushed and turned slightly. "S-Seriously.." she said softly smiling back at him playfully. "You are a pervert." she said leaning back on her bed post. "What are you going to do me?" she asked looking all innocent like. Rick shrugged at Kena as she mentioned that he was a pervert. "I wouldn't know that, I haven't touched a girl before," he told her, winking back as she leaned against the bedpost, looking oh-so-innocent and tempting. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do to you... but I guess there's more than one way to nurse you to health," he stated, leaning in and kissing her while he pressed himself against her. Kena leaned back slightly and kissed him back. Still covering her chest with her arm. "Rick. You touched me yesterday. Didn't you?" she asked tilting her head slightly teasing him slightly. Moving her arm out of the way. "You touched these, didn't you?" she asked pushing them lightly against him. Rick was hesitant to say anything when Kena asked if he touched her, knowing he had but he didn't want to admit to it, feeling like she would accuse him or grow hostile if he did... until she uncovered her breasts and pressed them on him. "I might have..." he admitted coyly, trying hard not to get shy. "Why, would you like more of the same...?" he asked, bringing his hands up to rub them. Kena blushed and leaned back against the bed. "Maybe I'd admit something to you.." she said softly looking up at him with that innocent look. "Maybe I'd tell you...I like you." Rick's eyes dropped to the floor when Kena admitted she liked him. "Like... really like?" he verified, wincing a bit, being "liked" was something foreign to him. His hands stopped rubbing and simply rested on on Kena's chest. "I've never really thought about liking someone, I just thought people would always hate me," he said quietly. Kena looked away. "If you don't...just t-tell me." she said looking away. pulling away slowly, covering herself with a pillow. "Just tell me.." Rick shook his head furiously as Kena covered herself. "You're the only person I have liked, the only person that gave me a chance, how could I not...?" he asked, reached for her hands that held the pillow, taking them within his own. Kena looked up at him and held his hands. "..." Dropping the pillow. "Rick, you're the only person to ever come in this house other then me and my parents." she said softly. Tilting her head down onto his chest, she trembled slightly. "Everyone at school hates me, because my father is head of a major company.." "That's a lie... I don't hate you," Rick stated plainly, taking Kena in his arms and hugging her. It was so strange to be in a place where Rick didn't have to fight or defend himself, he felt so warm and comfortable right now with Kena. With a content sigh, he just held on to Kena and rocked back and forth a bit. "...Rick." she slowly pulled away looking up at him. "I'm going to bed. I'm tired." she said softly grabbing her night shirt. "Ricky.." she said smiling up at him. "I'm happy you like me." she stated, leaning forward and kissing him. Rick grinned and looked to the floor a bit shyly as Kena called him "Ricky" again, it was such a... pet-name-ish name. "I'm happy--" Rick started to say before Kena kissed him, at which point he didn't care about what he was saying, he simply kissed her back and ran his hands back up to her chest. Kena pulled away for a second, then kissed him back. Ending up laying down on the ground. She continued to kiss him, she stoped for a second as he touched her chest. She closed one eye, blushing. Rick followed Kena to the floor, kissing her all the way down as he laid on top of her and continued for a few moments, until she closed an eye, then he thought of something... he took his hand off of her chest and instead stopped kissing her for a second, lifting his face from hers and then proceeding to place his mouth over her nipple, kissing it gently and licking it with his tongue as he did so. "R-Rick?" Kena whispered in a questioning voice. Before looking down at him. She closed both eyes and let out a moan, each time he licked her there. "R-Ricky.." she whispered out breathing deeply. Well... he'd figured if she liked when he touched them before, that kissing them would be that much better, and it appeared he was right. Rick smiled against her nipple and continued licking for a bit before he just decided to suckle on her while using his tongue. Of course, before doing so, he asked, "What is it, Kena...?" innocently, as if he didn't know what he was doing. Kena blushed and looked down at him. "...I-I want you, Rick." she said as she looked away a dark scarlet red. Rick's deep brown eyes looked up at Kena, pausing for a moment from pleasuring her. "You can have me..." he said quietly, bringing his lips up to meet her cheeks, doing his best to kiss her scarlet redness away. Kena blushed an even darker red. "Are you sure?" she asked quietly. "What if I get pregnant?" she asked looking up at him. There was a moment of hesitation from Rick, it wasn't like he carried condoms or anything... "We can take care of that if it comes to it; do you think your parents could help us if you did...?" he asked in a harsh whisper while he looked down on Kena, his eyes locked on hers. "I don't know.." Kena said sitting up slightly. "Let me get into my bed." she said climbing into her bed, and looking up at him. "If we have one, we won't be able to go back to school." she said softly laying back. Rick nodded and then followed Kena up, laying down on top of her once more as she spoke. "Kids at school, I won't miss," Rick said with a bit of a grin, he then sighed and took one of Kena's hands. "Over the past couple days, though, you've been the only one I could come close to and I don't think I could do without you," he told her, looking down at the bed for a moment. Kena stared up at him with soft eyes. "Then let's do this, Rick." she said leaning up and kissing him gently. As Kena agreed, Rick felt his heart quicken, leaping to his throat as he felt Kena's kiss. Without hesitation, Rick kissed her back wholeheartedly and pressed down on Kena a bit to let her feel his excitement. Kena was a bit taken back, but kissed him back. Pulling away for a second. "R-Ready, Rick?" she asked in a quiet voice. Rick nodded and pressed himself against Kena once before pulling back a bit. His hands ran up her stomach and felt her breasts, rubbing them lightly while he looked down at her. "I am... do you want me still...?" he asked, the hesitance evident in his voice, but at the same time, it betrayed his overwhelming desire to be wanted. Kena looked up at him blushing softly. "I-I still want to..." she said closing her eyes. "Y-Yeah. I'm really ready." A moment of silence hung in the air as the realization settled on Rick. If he did this... he wouldn't be his own again. Slowly, he brought his hands down to Kena's waist and started to unbutton and unzip her pants, his hands a bit shaky as he did so. "Then... let's..." Rick said, tugging her pants down inch by inch. Each time he pulled down, Kena felt her heart beat skip slightly. "Y-Yes.." she whispered blushing and laying there staring down at him. Hearing Kena's quiet agreement only served to encourage him to continue pulling, moving his body down along hers as he bunched her pants up at her ankles, struggling a bit to pull them the rest of the way. He then grabbed the ends and pulled them off of her completely, allowing him to bring himself back up to be face to face with her. He smiled at her, noting her blush. "Don't by shy, Kena..." he said, his voice taking on an uncharacteristically soft and encouraging tone. Kena stared at him with soft eyes. "O-Okay, sorry. Ricky.." she said softly and looking innocent away. "R-ready?" "Well... I'm mostly ready, but there's still some things in the way...?" he said, reaching a hand down to rub lightly against her panties. Closing one eye her breathing began to pick up. She didn't answer him, but with a wet center. Kena's wetness surprised Rick a bit, honestly. At first, he pulled his fingers back slightly, but then realized how Kena was doing the number where she closed one eye. She must have been really enjoying it. Without another word, he continued using one hand to rub her while his other fumbled with his own button on his pants. Kena with out a word lifted up a hand and un-buttoned him. "..." she blushed and smiled up at him. "T-There." Rick smiled sheepishly at Kena. "I was a little afraid I wouldn't get it, there," he said, chuckling a little under his breath before his fingers wrapped around Kena's waistband and started to pull her panties down. Kena closed her eyes, trembling as he grabbed her panties and began to pull down. "..." Rick then slid his own pants and boxer briefs down once her panties were out of the way and slid so that he was against her, his flesh ready to penetrate her. He trembled a bit, feeling the sheer pleasure of just having his own cock touching her; he started to press, begging for entry. RIIIIIIIING! RIIIIIIIIIIING! Rick froze and took a sharp breath. "Huh?" he said, somewhat dazed. "!!!" Kena's eyes widened. "The...d-door bell." she said softly as she shook her head. "Not right now." In a panic, Rick pulled up his pants and slid off of Kena. "Umm... h-here you go," he stammered, grabbing her pants and handing them to her hurriedly. He was obviously pretty nervous and jumbled. "N-No..." Kena whispered with teary eyes reaching out to him, blushing darkly. "No...Ricky." she closed her eyes and turned off the light. "Ignore the door bell, Rick." she said trembling slightly. "I want you, Ricky." "But... we don't know who it is..." Rick protested gently before he allowed himself to be tugged down onto her. "Oh... Kena..." he whispered, reaching an arm under her and hugging her naked body tightly against him. Kena trembled and nuzzled into his head. "I...love you." she said scared to say, and closed her eyes tightly. Loved him? Rick wasn't exactly sure what it meant, but it sounded so nice... so much better than his dad's screaming of how he was a mistake, or when Mom would yell that it was his fault she was getting the hell beaten out of her... Coming from Kena, though, it had to be true, whatever it was. He clung to her ever tighter and kissed her cheek. "I'm not sure what it's like to love, but I can try for you," Rick offered meekly. Kena looked up at him smiling. "R-Really?" she asked and hugged him back. Rick nodded at Kena and pressed himself against her once more, the doorbell still ringing in the background as he did so. A little bit of an annoyed expression crossed his face as it kept ringing. "Somebody turn that off," he mumbled, speaking with a sour face. "Ignore it.." she whispered softly, touching his face. "Only listen to me, okay?" Rick nodded and focused himself, feeling Kena and letting her voice drown everything else out. As if in a hypnosis, almost, he slid his hands back down to their waist area and started to work again, taking two fingers and rubbing them against Kena, pleasuring her before he began kissing her passionately. Kena let out a moan as she began to kiss him back. Slipping her hand threw his hair, she pulled away slowly. "Take your pants...off." There was no protest from Rick, as he was still captivated by the spell of Kena. He smiled at her and used his free hand to tug his pants so that they were down to his knees. Not quite all the way off, but he didn't want to stop kissing Kena. Feeling a bit more confident, Rick slid a finger gently into the wetness that was Kena and slid his tongue in her mouth in a deep French kiss. Kena let out a moan, and gasps as he did so. Rick slid his finger back and forth more generously now and did what he could to pull his underpants down, they were the only thing separating them from what he was hoping would be their ecstasy... how they'd show their love. "A-Are...you ready?" she asked softly to him breathing deeply. Rick looked down at Kena and smiled lightly before nodding at her. "I'm ready..." he whispered before he took his cock in his hand and slowly slid it into Kena, moaning aloud as he felt her tightly around him. There was no word to describe how he felt as they bodies slowly merged into one being. "Oh my God..." he whispered before pressing in and kissing Kena with unmatched fervor. Kena's eyes widened and she tilted her head to the side. Breathing deeply, she felt a pain. And let out a cry. "It hurts...Rick." she whispered blushing darkly. "It' hurts..." she moaned loudly and kept her eyes closed for a second, before looking up at him. "I..love you." There was a moment of hesitation from Rick at the discovery of pain. Was it supposed to hurt? He didn't know, but it felt really good for him. As Kena looked up at him, he nodded and whispered between heavy breaths, "I love... you... too..." His hips involuntarily bucked a bit, thrusting suddenly into Kena and eliciting a loud moan. "Ugh, Kena..." he said, wincing as her walls closed in tightly around him. He panted a bit and backed himself out of her a bit, trying to keep a sense of reality about him. Rick's body had other plans, though, and thrust back into her, making her writhe and moan, though Rick wasn't sure if it was pleasure, pain, or some odd mix of the two. He pulled back again to try to accommodate some time to process things, but his hips kept shoving back into her, and not of his own volition. It was like some sort of seesaw motion, sliding back and forth, ever working himself deeper inside Kena. Kena grunted her teeth as she gasped for breath. Every single time he thrusted into her. She let out a gasp of pleasure, and of pain. She let out a moan as she felt him go deeper inside of her. "R-Rick..." she whispered out. Rick was similarly preoccupied as Kena called his name out. He nearly whimpered in pleasure as he rested fully inside her, panting, his breath coming out unevenly and heavily. "Oh, Kena..." he mumbled, still sliding back and forth a bit against her before he leaned down and started kissing her neck. Kena began to breath deeply, and then slowly closed her eyes. "Rick...I'm so. tired." she whispered in his ear. Rick took a couple breaths and nodded, pulling his face away from Kena. "Oh... kay... then, we can rest..." he replied, feeling himself throbbing inside her. He slowly started to pull out of her and smiled down meekly. Kena smiled and nodded her head. "Y-Yeah." she said curling up to him. Rick layed down beside Kena and snuggled with her also, nuzzling into her as well. The two of them simply against one another after a passion-filled afternoon. "I love you..." Rick stated, smiling as he spoke it with courage. He then closed his eyes. Kena looked up at him for a second, then smiled and fell asleep hugging him. The following morning. She sat up slowly, looking at the clock. "Crap. we're late for school." she said blushing as she looked over at Rick. Rick stirred a while after Kena mentioned that they were late. "Ungh hmm?" he mumbled out, not fully conscious as he opened his eyes and looked at Kena. Her naked body was against him, though he still wore his hoodie. He smiled and yawned. "I don't like school," he stated flatly, mustering up a grumpy expression. Kena smiled up at him. "We have to go...can't call in with such a short notice." she said sitting up. "Last night. Th-thank you." she said blushing as she put her clothes back on. She felt numb, but not so bad. "I'm ready." she said putting her hair back into a pony tail. Clothing himself again, Rick followed Kena's lead and kind of followed her. "No need to thank me... takes two to do that," he murmured out, reaching out and grabbing a hold of her hand. It was to school with them... Would school be the same still, though? Surely she couldn't walk around being friendly with him, she'd risk making the same enemies as him. Rick bit his lip at the thought and then sighed. "Ready?" he verified. Kena nodded and opened the door. Looking ahead of her she blinked. "It's raining." she said sighing. "You go on ahead of me...so we aren't. Scene together." she said softly. "I don't want anyone giving you a problem." There was a moment of silence as the rain drizzled down before the new pair. Rick looked back at Kena with a bit of a wince on his face. He'd been hit before, and hard, but it wasn't quite like the pain he'd just experienced from this near-abandonment. "Yeah... I guess," he said in a hushed voice, starting out of the house, casting a glance back toward Kena as he trudged off toward school. At school, Kena had to stay away from him. She felt sick to her stomach a whole lot. But ignored it. At lunch time she sat alone in her normal seat. Hoping to see him, and invite him to eat with her, wincing openly. She touched her stomach. It hurt again. Rick had been surprisingly well-behaved in spite of his terrible mood. He wanted to be with Kena so badly, but... they had to not be together to be together. The irony of it all was killing him. He sighed heavily when the lunch bell rang, walking into the cafeteria without any thought our emotion whatsoever. Usually, Rick would look upset when he went anywhere in school. Today, he simply looked dead. After grabbing some food, though, he looked across the cafeteria and saw Kena sitting by herself once more. His heart leapt at the sight of her, and he started straight toward her, his fears about what somebody might think ebbing away with each step. Kena felt really sick to her stomach. Standing up quickly she ran out of the lunch room, flying passed Rick. Holding her stomach. Getting to a trashcan, she threw up. Breathing deeply, she coughed and stared down. Was she...pregnate? She wondered breathing deeply. Rick was completely dazed as Kena dashed by him. What was she doing...? He grimaced and looked to the floor, feeling his spirits crushed as he watched her go by to a trash can, where she promptly hunched over it. "What the hell?" he mumbled, wondering what was going on with her. He cautiously approached her, wondering if she'd really run away from him or not, though he suspected not from her current state.[/quote] . Kena was calming down, and she stood up. Grabbing a napkin, she glanced over her shouldr at Rick. "Rick.." she whispered staring at him. "I-I need to go to the nurses office." she said holding her stomach. "And take the...pregnancy test." The statement by Kena made Rick freeze for a moment. Pregnant? "You think so...?" he asked in disbelief, taking a moment to look at her. "I mean, I know we had sex, but I didn't... did I?" he whispered, standing right beside her. A couple kids stared at them from a distance, obviously perplexed that the two were conversing. "Let's go," Rick said, nudging Kena to follow him toe nurse's office. Kena tilted in slightly to him and nodded. "Y-Yes.." she said softly holding her stomach, as soon as they got to the nurses office. She looked up at Rick. "I'm sc-scared.." she whispered softly trembling slightly. Rick looked down at Kena and winced a bit. The reality was starting to hit him... was he really going to be a father? So soon in his life? God knows he didn't have a good example for a dad... the thoughts ran through his mind, but then they cleared for a second and Rick simply nodded at Kena. "I'm here," he said quietly, doing his best to reassure her. Kena looked away and nodded as she stopped at the nurses office. "You wait here...I'll go check." she said as she entered the nurses office. Ten to Twenty minutes later she came back out with a dazed look. "..Rick.." she whispered softly. "I'm pregnant..." she said quietly hugging her stomach. An expression of shock crossed Rick's face as he heard the news. "P-pregnant?" he verified, still clearly surprised at the news. What had happened...? It had been a possibility, sure, but... he took a few shallow breaths and then tried to get a hold of himself again. "What do we do...?" he asked. Kena tilted her head down. "I...don't know." she said rubbing her eyes, feeling them tear up. "I don't know, Rick." Seeing that Kena was going to cry, Rick approached her and went around behind her to give her a hug from behind, putting a hand on her stomach. "It'll be all right... I think uh... we should go..." he suggested after a pause, after such traumatic news, home would probably be the best place for her. "Y-Yeah.." Kena said softly as she walked out with him. "Rick?" she said in a soft voice looking over at him. "Do you want this.." There was a slight pause as Rick tried to collect his words. "I kinda knew that there was a chance we might...?" he started off, "I just guess I didn't think it would really happen... I'm the dad, though, so I'd better learn to grow up," Rick told Kena, nodding affirmatively. "I wanted you, I still do, and I want whatever we made..." Kena blushed and tilted her head down slightly. "Rick.." she said softly, squeezing his hand. "Thank you." she said softly. Rick shook his head and sighed as Kena thanked him. "You're not supposed to thank me, it's what's right," Rick stated simply as he sidled up beside her and took her hand. They were walking down the hall, out of school, and a couple kids peeked out from their classrooms to watch this "spectacle." Rick was being something other than a jerk and a jackass for once? No way! Honestly, Rick could care less. This was about him and Kena, and those were the only things that mattered right now. He'd have to give up his own petty pride and fighting attitude if he was going to father their child... Now was as good a time to grow up as any. Kena glanced over her shoulder at the students pointing at them. "Rick." she said looking back up at him. "I feel like I should thank you." she said touching her stomach It seemed that Kena was insistent. Rick simply nodded at her and replied, "If you're so insistent... then you're welcome." He then gently squeezed her hand and tugged her a bit so she'd be closer to him. Noticing her backward glance, Rick knew that she was a little unnerved by the jeering kids. In response, he took an arm and wrapped it around Kena's waist, bringing their bodies together so that he was a figurative shield of sorts, he would be her protector... and their baby's. "Did you see that?" "I know right...so weird." Kena heard the people whispering and she tilted her head towards him slightly. "I'll ignore them." she said softly. Rick nodded at Kena and escorted her out of the building, finally allowing them to exit in peace as they started away from the school. They walked around the side to the path that they had taken home the day before yesterday. How the situation had changed entirely since such a short time ago. He remembered--painfully--how he had brought Kena to the ground, hit her, screamed at her... it was like he was some enraged monster at the time, but now he was changed. "I'm sorry," Rick said, expressing sorrow for what had occured earlier, even though Kena couldn't have known what he was thinking. Kena looked up at him worried, then noticed the area they were in. "It's okay, Rick." she said softly ignoring the spot where he tackled her. "I'll forget all about it, if that's what will make you feel better." Forget it? Rick shook his head violently. "No... but I want you to know that I'm not the same I was then," he told her, his voice a bit shaky, he didn't like to think about even the recent past, let alone some of the more atrocious things he'd done before. Instead, Rick fixated his eyes on the house ahead and guided Kena to it. There was a bit of silence as they stood in front of the door, waiting for Kena to unlock it. "Home sweet home?" he asked, half-jokingly Kena smiled up at him. "Home-sweet-home." she said softly un-locking the door. Then turned on the lights. Hearing a noise coming from the kitchen, she looked up at Rick. "Someones in the kitchen.." she whispered bluntly. Somebody was home? Rick was a little afraid now, and he didn't know what to do. More likely than not, it was one of her parents that was home, and they probably wouldn't approve of Rick, let alone the fact that he had gotten Kena pregnant. "Should I go?" he asked in a harsh whisper. "My parents aren't supposed to be here...they're still out of town." she stopped for a second, and looked down beside Rick. "Oh no." she said softly. "This is Joshes.." she looked up at him, then away. "I'll be right back, you wait here." The statement by Kena gave pause to Rick. What was she talking about? Her parents weren't home and somebody was in her home. On top of that, she mentioned a Josh. Maybe it was a brother or something? Rick wasn't about to simply wait outside as Kena dashed in the door, though. He peeked his head in and slowly crept toward the source of the noise, taking care to stay out of sight. "What are you doing here?" Kena asked the tall boy in her kitchen, who had put down his glass of water to talk to her. "I told you to leave me alone." "I'm sorry babe, I can't do that." Josh said fixing his dark red hair. "We are engaged." "I told my parents I wanted to cancel. Remember?" Kena snapped lightly. "Get out the back. I have someone here." she said crossing her arms, as Josh gently touched her shoulder. "A boyfriend?" he asked in a soft-jealous tone. Kena paused for a second, then looked up at him. "Yes." she said in a daring tone. "A boyfriend." "Oh, I see." Josh said tightening his grip on Kena's shoulder enough to make her wince. "I might just make you sneak out with me." "Let go...you're hurting my shoulder." Kena said grabbing his wrist. The voices in the kitchen were obviously not very friendly, but Rick could tell there was a lot more going on here than he cared to know. He felt sick to his stomach when he heard "engaged," though. She'd been engaged when they had sex? RIght now, Rick wanted to puke, he didn't care about Josh's threats to steal her away, he was so sick, he didn't know truth from lie and it was taking a toll on him. He just wanted to break down completely. Here was the first person besides himself he'd decided to try to trust because she gave him a chance, and he instead ended up with a huge dagger--and a kid--in his back. "I told you, I canceled a long time ago!" Kena shouted at him, pushing him away, while holding her shoulder. "...Get out." "Fine then, sweetie. But, I'll be back for you again." he said waving and leaving out the back. "Bye." As soon as he left, she locked the door. "Idiot." she whispered walking back into the kitchen. "Rick?" she said softly as she opened the door up. "A-Are you okay?" she asked nearly walking into him. "You look sick to your stomach. Rick's eyes were glazed over as Kena approached him. "Huh? Oh, uh... I'm fine, just haven't eaten," he quickly lied, picking himself up a bit so he wouldn't look so obviously bad. "What do you have to eat?" he asked, trying to make sure that the subject did not fall to him once more. "We have...sandwiches." Kena said softly as she looked at him worried. "You're all.." she shook her head. Did he over hear her? she wondered then began to make him something to eat. "...Did you over hear what I was talking about?" she asked softly. Rick didn't reply at first, acting dumb about this thing she was talking about. "Talking about? I dunno, I just stepped inside when the voices died down, I couldn't hear anything," he lied, trying to cover his own ass and to see how she'd react. "And a sandwich would be fantastic," he mumbled out, staring at the floor. Kena looked away. "Okay." she said softly, touching her shoulder slightly. "Rick, I used to be engaged." she blurted out. "It wasn't...with my will...though." A raised eyebrow was the response that Kena received from Rick as she made her confession to him. Was she telling the truth? He was a bit scared, he'd felt that he could trust her before, and now this bit came out... "What do you mean?" he asked, seeing what other information Kena would expound upon. He was listening. "A couple of years ago.." Kena began as she put the food down. "I was in an arranged marriage. It was to Josh." she spoke quietly and looked up at him. "He was a friend of my fathers son, and he thought about the company and arranged the marriage." she closed her eyes. "But I told them, no so many times and I.." she looked up at Rick. "I made them, cancel it." A raised eyebrow was the response that Kena received from Rick as she made her confession to him. Was she telling the truth? He was a bit scared, he'd felt that he could trust her before, and now this bit came out... "What do you mean?" he asked, seeing what other information Kena would expound upon. He was listening. "I made them, cancel it." There wasn't much reaction from Rick as he heard the story. Arranged marriages? Who did those these days...? He felt a little bit concerned still, not completely sure if she was telling the truth, but he decided to ask the question that really was picking at the back of his mind. "So why did he come over?' "He...thinks we're still together." she said softly. "And it's screwed up." she said looking back at him. "He wants my parents money."
