A sudden roar shook the castle. Small gray stone's falling from the ceiling to dust her purple hair. It was an unearthly sound that split the air, as if the world around her grew angry and was out for blood. The wall's started to shake and the clink of heavily armored knight's thundered down the hall, past her locked cell door. The roar came once more, the sound of falling wall's, screeming men and demon's hiss's followed. Her door was thrown open, as if nothing more then a leaf in the wind, "My lady." The moon was at it's fullest, shining behind the gray knight acting like a spotlight on his back. Every part of him, but for his deep-set, handsom brown eyes, was hidden from sight by the steel wrapped around his massive form. Before she could say a word, he had snapped her bound's and took her in his arm to carry her out into the war-zone of a courtyard. All she could see was the full moon from the damp dark dungeon she was placed in, for heaven only knows what. Her short purple hair covered a darker colored purple eye, the other eyes stared out the barred up window. "How did I get myself into this mess?" she wondered as she threw a small rock across the small room. Suddenly hearing a noises down her cell, she stood up to take a look. In a quick flash, a handsome guy appeared and opened the door. Before she could ask who he was, she was swepted away. "!!" looking up at the man who picked her up, she stoped herself from saying anything. Soon out in the middle of a war. "What's going on?" she asked out loud staring at him. "Who are you?" "You are safe," The night replied simplily, as if that would answer all her questioned. He turned his eyes up and strait ahead to where a black horse stood stiffly in the middle of the rubble that had been the castle. His voice was rough, as if aged beyound year's by fighting. Eyes the same, but, young and full of youth. He placed her atop his mount with no trouble as if his arm's had lifted mountian's. Then climbed up behind her to take the rein's. \The horse walked from what had once been a mighty castle of a great evil force. The beast walked as if taking a stroll through the park. No one treatened them, no one came after them. They were all just suddenly... gone. The men who had swept her away into the night never answered her small question. "Who...are you?" she asked again keeping her ead down and let it cover her purple eyes. "I'm Shana. If that is any help for you to know." she said closing her eyes. "How come...you saved me?" she asked in a confused voice. "I'm the cursed girl you know. I bring bad luck to those who cross my path.." she said in a warning. "Those beasts might of had me locked up..." she sighed and tilted her head to the side. "I-I better sleep.." As she spoke, his head never turned, never moved to meet her gaze, never spoke, though, heard her every word. His deep set brown eyes pinned to the distance as they rode, as if watching, waiting for something. He did not speak, but, there was much to take in about him. His armor alone was fascinating. The metal was warm to the touch, not like steel, and covered every inch of his form. It was carved in intricate design's of the like few had ever seen and fewer the skill to make. The marking curved and shaped about his body, sliding effortlessly from one piece to the other. "Yes," He spoke finally, "Rest." As she awoke from her sleep, she noticed she was in some dark curtiened room. "Where..." she whispered sitting up slowly. The room was very beautiful and a bright red. Her memories ran through her head quickly. "Where is that...man?" "Awe... My lady" A soft feminine voice spoke from the other side of the rood, "You are awake. Wonderful, wonderful." A light sparked in the hearth, and the room was lit almost instantly. Walking over from the fireplace was a young woman, a little older then the girl it seemed. Her hair was short and black , hanging just low enough to brush over her eyes, which were set behind then reds frames. By the short black dress and white apron, she was obviously a servant of some kind. "How are you this afternoon?" Shana stared at the maid. "I'm confused. How long have I been asleep?" she asked waiting to aquire why she was in a random room. "And where am I?" "Oh, about two day's," She replied as she came up beside the bed, reaching her hand out to feel Shana's forward, "Awe... much cooler then last night." She straightened out the cover's around the younf woman, before turning her eyes back to her, ready to answer she question's, "Just relax, love, you are safe in the castle MacGiver." "Castle...MacGiver." Shana said with wide eyes. "The kingdom north of my tower?" she asked tilting her head down. "I better not...bring back luck here." she whispered to herself. Reaching over, the young woman tipped her chin up, "No wories, love. That is no such thing as back luck, just those who believe in it. Now, I was instructed to see to you've every need, my lady, Are you hungry?" "Very hungry." Shana said as she sat up in the bed. "Heh, not where I come from.." she said tilting her head to the side. "I am bad luck."
