16 years later- Ricky and Karen's house "Mom, where's my shoes!?" Amy shouted down at her mother from the top of the stairs. "I was supossed to leave ten minutes ago.." "Ask your father, Amy." Karen replied from the kitchen, as she tried to make Ricky his dinner. "He should be in his room." "Dad?" Amy opened up her parents room door. "Where are my shoes?" Ricky sighed, raising an eyebrow. "How am I supposed to know where your shoes are? Go look in your room or something..." He stood up, walking over to her. "Or...you could just go ask your mother." He glanced at the clock on the wall. "Hey... Weren't you supposed to leave ten minutes ago?" Amy growled under her breath, "I already asked mom!" she turned away tapping her foot. "I'm so clueless...where are those shoes?" she looked down at her feet...she blinked then rubbed her head. "I found them.." she said looking back at Ricky cluelessly smiling. "I'm gone!" she waved and ran down the stairs and out the door. Ricky blinked, smiling as Amy ran out the door. "Clueless" - - - A teenaged boy with ruffled black/gray hair sprinted down the street, glancing nervously behind him. Without looking where he was going, he ran right into Amy, knocking her over and falling on top of her. He remained in that position for a moment as his gray eyes stared down at her emotionlessly. Without saying a word, he stood up, silently glancing over his shoulder again, not even acknowledging the fact that he had just knocked her over. Amy sat up blushing lightly looking back at the teen boy. "Hey you!" she shouted out angry and stood up tapping her foot on the ground. Man did this guy look weird...strange. "I'd like an apology please.." she said glaring at the armed man. She wasn't threatened by him, after all she had gotten her parents ghost powers. "I'm waiting.." The boy just raised an eyebrow, still not saying a word. Instead, he raised his arm, pointing a finger at two figures running down the road. His other hand instinctively grabbed the bow strapped to his back, carefully picking an arrow and aiming at the men. He pulled the bowstring back and let it go, hitting the first man in the chest. The other man didn't even look at his fallen companion. He grabbed Amy's arm, holding up a knife to her throat. "This your girlfriend, Sharpie?" The boy didn't even blink. He took a step away from Amy, as if to say, 'I couldn't care less about her.' Amy glared at the boy, "Idiot." she said lifting up her hands making two red blades hitting the man behind her in the stomach with them she kicked him away making the two ectoblades dissapper, she looked over at Sharpie. Glaring at him she began walking past him, "Thanks for making me late.." The boy, 'Sharpie,' grabbed her hand, pulling her back towards him. He stared down at her hand, as if trying to figure something out. Then he glanced over at the man who had attacked Amy. His gaze shifted back to her hand again as he strapped his bow to his back with his other hand. Shrugging, he glanced at Amy's face, still keeping the look of concentration in his eyes. Amy looked back at the boy blushing lightly, "What now?" she asked feeling him grab her hand. "Yeah, what is it?" she asked staring at him with an annoience. "I'll have you know, I'm late." she said trying to yank her hand away from the boys. "You're...extremely quiet.." Sharpie blinked, tilting his head to the side. He just tightened his grip on her hand, not letting her pull away. "Are...you...a ghost...?" he murmured in a soft voice, still hiding all emotion from his face. Amy looked at him with a shocked look. She was an idiot and used her ecto-blades. "..I'm half-breed okay?" she said looking at his emotionless face. "A halfa, one of those cursed people! Are you happy now?" she asked feeling his grip tighten. "...Why are you emotionless?" she asked tapping her foot then sighed looking away. "I'm Amy Drynn...not just some ghost-thing...okay" Sharpie blinked again, giving a small nod in response. "Emotion is a weakness," he said simply, staring down at their hands. He wasn't used to the sound of his own soft voice, because he hardly ever used it. "We were trained to ignore it." "Trained to ignore it?.." Amy asked blinking. "Emotions aren't weak they make people much stronger!" she said to Sharpie. "That's really...weird, why keep your feelings all dorment, it'll just hurt you." Sharpie just shook his head, glancing back over his shoulder, making sure no one else was following him. He pulled out a medallion from his pocket with the letters "CW" engraved onto it. With his other hand, he put Amy's hand on the medallion. "Can you use your powers to make this go inside me?" he asked softly, still staring with emotionless eyes, not explaining anything further. Amy stared at the medallion in her hand sighing. "Fine..." she whispered making her hand go intangable she stepped closer to him putting her hand into his stomach. She then pulled her hand away after a minute. "There.." Sharpie stared down at his stomach, nodding once. It felt weird when the medallion phased into him, but he refused to show any emotion whatsoever. After a few seconds of silence, he muttered, "...Aren't you late...?" Amy glared at Sharpie then turned away. "I'm not going to the movies anymore...it's gotten to late." she sighed and began walking off. "See ya.." she said waving slightly back at him. Sharpie just shrugged, hearing a noise nearby. He turned his head, spotting a small gray squirrel chewing on an acorn. Silently, he pulled out his bow, loaded it with an arrow, took aim, and fired. The squirrel let out a small squeak before it died. He stared down at it, still not revealing any emotion at all or saying anything to Amy, who had already started to walk off. Amy heard a small squeak she looked back seeing a dead squirrel. "You idiot!" she said turnning around hitting Sharpie in the head then pointing at the squirrel. "Why the heck did you kill that poor squirrel, huh?" Amy asked staring at him, she had always cared for animals but never really showed it. She looked away, "Why won't you just show a little emotion?" she asked sounding hurt? Why did she care if the guy wasn't talking? She didn't hardly know him. She growled looking away, "Come on...you're comming with me home." "Target practice," Sharpie responded calmly, walking over to the squirrel and pulling the arrow out of its side. He wiped the blood off, placing the arrow in the quiver strapped over his shoulder. He stood up again, raising an eyebrow at Amy - the first sign of any kind of emotion. "Why are you taking me to your home? Are your parents trying to marry you off already?" He tilted his head to the side, not caring about how awkward the question was. Amy blushed shaking her head, "No!" she blurted out turnning away, "They wouldn't do that to me...besides, I'm making that desistion on my own...on who I marry." she crossed her arms looking back at him still blushing slightly. "I'm taking you to my home because you're on the run...and if you stay at my house you'd be sure to be safe there.." she looked away. "Okay?" Sharpie nodded, pausing for a moment before muttering, "Okay. But we're not friends. Friends are a weakness." Without waiting for a response, he started walking off in the direction Amy had originally come from, even though he had no idea where her house was. Amy frowned and sighed running after him. "So what do I say to my parents 'look I found a random hunter guy on the run can we keep him?'" she looked over at him. "I'll just say your my friend, even if we're not." she opened her front door. "Mom, I'm back!" "Amy, you've only been gone for twenty minutes...why are you." Karen stoped talking looking down at Amy and sharpie. "Oh, and who's this?" Karen asked smiling sweetly. "This is...a friend of mine." Amy said looking away. "Can he stay with us for a while? He's just ran away from home." Karen looked down at Amy. "He'll have to stay in your room you know...there is only two rooms." she smiled shyly. "Okay?" Amy blushed looking away, "Okay...do you think dad will mind?" "I don't know.." Karen whispered looking back. "Ricky-poo, come here.." Karen said smiling. "Ricky, may this young man stay with us for a while?" Ricky smiled sweetly at Karen, walking over. He raised an eyebrow, staring down at Sharpie. "Um... I guess so... What's his name?" Sharpie stared silently back at Ricky, keeping his dull gray eyes free of emotion. "Jeez, Amy..." Ricky blinked, taking a step away from him. "This kid's weird... Does he even know how to talk?" He gave Amy a suspicious look. "Where did you find him, anyway? Where is he from?" "He's from...out of town." Amy said smiling slightly at Ricky. "Okay...thank you Dad!" she said pulling Sharpie along with her. "Let me go." Karen sighed and put her head down onto Ricky's back. "That kid...reminded me you, when I first met you...emotionless.." she sighed yawning. "Let's go to bed" - Amy entered her room closing the door behind her. "This is my room...where you'll be staying." she looked away. "There's only one bed...so you get this side and I'll get this side..okay?" she said looking over at him. "Sharpie, can you please...show emotion please?" she asked with sad brown eyes. "Just around me?" Ricky smiled at Karen. "Yeah, well... Look how I turned out in the end... I'm really just a clueless idiot..." He took her hand, walking up to their room. "I bet that kid's going to end up the same way, no matter how hard he tries to hold back his emotions" - - - Sharpie shook his head, staring over at the bed. "No." It was the first time he had spoken since he entered the house. "We were trained not to show emotion, ever... Not even when we're tortured, killed, or mortally wounded. There's nothing you can do about it." He sat down on the floor. "...And I'm not sleeping with you." Amy sighed looking away, "Fine..." she turned around and un-did her shirt, "Don't look over here.." she ordered him throwing her shirt away. "...I wasn't intending you to sleep with me...idiot." she whispered softly. "You were trained not to show emotion?" she asked in un-beleaf turning around to him with just her bra and skirt on. "That...isn't right, emotions might get in the way but you're nothing but an empty shell if you don't show any emotion!" she turned away. "Give that...some thought.." A faint flicker of some kind of emotion went through Sharpie's eyes as Amy turned around, but it vanished within seconds. "Isn't that the whole point? Being nothing but an empty shell... A killing machine... An assassin..." He looked away from her, staring down at the floor. "Our hearts are protected from any regrets we might have about killing. When tortured for information, we won't snap. That's the whole point." "No.." Amy whispered to him stepping over to him bending down still wearing the same thing she was before. "That...isn't right at all, even if your an assassin.." she said pushing him down onto his back, not know what she was doing. "The point is to show some type of emotion...why can't you show just a bit of emotion?" she asked putting her hands on both sides of his head. "Why not...it's not good, if you don't show any emotion..." "Get off of me." Despite his words, Sharpie didn't move or try to stop her. "Emotion shows weakness... Weakness leads to death. Why would I want to be dead?" He stared up at her, feeling his heart beat speed up very slightly. Breathing deeply, he tried to slow it down, looking away from Amy. "Having emotion...or friends...or people you love... They're all weaknesses..." Amy bent down lower to him inches away from his face, her chest touching his, "...Did something happen to you, when you were younger?" she asked looking down at him then away. "They're...not weeknesses...they're not all..." she sounded hurt. "Emotions help people feel...better..." she pulled away looking away, she crawled onto her bed. "They...don't get in the way.." she put her back to him. "...I won't say anything else.." Sharpie stood up, walking over to her bed and sitting down on the edge. "Emotions don't make people feel better... They make people feel terrible things...like fear, regret, sadness, anger, and love." He pushed her down onto her back, just like she had done to him. "Emotions...are a weakness..." he whispered in his soft voice, keeping emotion out of his eyes as he leaned down closer to her. "...Nothing more...than a weakness..." Amy stared up at him, "Love isn't...a weakness.." she said looking away, "It makes people stronger, in there hearts..." she whispered quietly blushing as he leaned closer to her. "They're not a weekness." she said looking up at him. "They're not.." "Yes, they are..." Sharpie leaned down even closer. "It breaks down the shield you build around your heart... In my case...I've been building that shield for sixteen years..." He didn't take his empty gray eyes away from her face. "That shield is immune to any kind of physical pain... But one stupid kiss...can destroy it...if it's not built carefully enough..." He kissed her lips softly, gently pressing her down against her bed. Amy blushed and unrealising it she was kissing him back. She slowly pulled away, "I...I was going to save my first...kiss for my soul mate..." she said staring up at him blushing, feeling him pressing her down against her own bed. "S-Sharpie...it's not...stupid..." she looked away with a red face. "It's not.." "Stop calling me that..." Sharpie continued to stare down at her, trembling slightly with the effort of remaining emotionless. "It's...not my name... It was just a stupid nickname..." He leaned down to her again. "But... You're right... A kiss... It's not stupid... But it's...just...strange...how such a weak display of emotion can destroy sixteen years of pain and work..." He kissed her lips again, pressing her down a bit harder, making sure she couldn't push him away. Amy blushed even more as he kissed her again, she tried moving but she couldn't move she she kissed him back, trembling she pulled out of the kiss. "W-..What's your name then?" she asked staring at him quietly breathing deeply. "What's your...name?" "I don't have one..." Sharpie lifted up a hand, gently stroking her cheek. "I never had one." He trembled again, trying to hold in all the emotions he was feeling. They were emotions he had never felt before - the kind he had tried so hard to defend himself against. Still keeping the calm, unfazed expression on his face, he touched his chest where his heart was, with his other hand. "By the way...your face is red..." Amy blushed even a deeper red. "...I know...my face is red..." she slowly sat up covering her chest with her hands, still realizing she was only wearing her bra. "...How about...Edward?" she asked looking back over at him she shivered looking away. "...That...kiss...meant...nothing right?" she asked keeping her head down, "...I'd just get in the way...right?" "No. The kiss did mean something." Sharpie took slow, deep breaths, slowing down his heart beat. "Yes. You would just get in the way." He stared at her, speaking very softly. "Edward... Well, at least it's better than that awful nickname..." He tilted his head to the side, asking softly with no emotion crossing his face at all, "Amy? Can I kiss you again?" Amy looked back at 'Edward' and then looked away. "...Show emotion in front of me, and I'll let you kiss me...again." she said blushing looking down she began to stand up. Edward kept his head down, reaching out and grabbing her hand, pulling her back down onto the bed. "Emotion..." he murmured, still looking down. "You're so...stubborn..." He lifted his head up, giving a tiny, almost unnoticable smile. "...Can I...kiss you now...?" Amy stared over at him as he pulled her back down. She blushed looking away, "Idiot..." she whispered quietly timidly putting her hands around him hugging him tightly. "...Okay..." she whispered pulling away kissing him on the lips softly then pulled away. "...I'm getting in your way..." Edward nodded, trembling again as she hugged him, "Yes...you are. But...getting in the way of what? I ran away from assassin training camp... That means I don't have to kill people anymore..." His voice was even softer than usual. "I never talk...ever... The people who trained us like this... They used to hit me because I'd never answer them... Because I never said a word to anyone..." He stared off into space. "Then why do I talk to you? Why did I smile for you? I've never smiled once in my life..." Amy smiled softly pulling away out of the hug. "...I don't know..." she said tired like. "I'm sleepy.." she said laying down on her bed not even bothering to put on a shirt. "...Good night, Edward..." Edward started to stand up so he could sleep on the floor, but slowly made himself sit back down on the bed again. He stared up at the ceiling, laying down beside her. Unable to stop himself, he mumbled softly, "Hey...didn't you say that was my side of the bed?" He stopped himself from smiling as he put his arms around her, closing his eyes and snuggling up against her. "Oh, well... I guess that means we'll have to share..." Amy blushed but didn't move she nodded quietly falling asleep in his arms. "...Guess...so.." Edward slowly opened his eyes, remembering what had happened the night before. He realized that one of his arms was around her waist and his other hand was on her chest, which sent another wave of emotion through him. He closed his eyes again, trying to control himself, not making any effort to move away from Amy. Amy slowly woke up, she felt something next to her. She blushed feeling a hand on her chest, looking behind her at Edward. "E-Edward...wake up..." she whispered to him blushing, "I've got to get up...I've got my walk...to do.." she said blushing. Edward opened his eyes again, staring silently at her. He made sure his fingertips trailed lightly across her body as he pulled his hands away from her. His only response was a softly whispered, "Okay." Amy blushed and sat up grabbing her shirt from last night and placed it on. "Come on..." she said opening the door, "You can come with me." she walked out into the hall. "My parents are still asleep...so come on, hurry." she said opening the door. Edward nodded silently, grabbing her hand as they stepped outside. He was about to ask where they were going when he was interrupted by rapid footsteps coming along the street. "They...found me..." he said in a hollow, uncaring voice. There were more assassins this time; four in total. One of them tossed several daggers at Edward, who dodged all but one. It scraped his cheek, sending a trickle of blood down his face, but he didn't even blink. Another assassin ran at Amy, creating an ectoblast in his hand, sending it flying at her. "So...you're his little friend with ghost powers, aren't you?" He smirked, charging up another ectoblast in his hand. "This should be fun... First I'll short circuit those little powers of yours..." He sent the new beam at her, still smirking. Amy flinched falling to her knees as the beam hit her. "Stupid." she whispered to herself standing back up. "I don't need my ghost powers..." she whispered lifting up her hands making two purple wind blades. "...I can use these." Edward blinked, noticing one of the assassins was attacking Amy. He loaded his bow and fired at the assassin, hitting him in the side of the head. Edward was focused on Amy so he didn't notice the dagger one of the other attackers had thrown at him. Hiding all signs of pain from his face as the dagger hit his arm, he muttered, "Stupid...emotions... They always get in the way..." Another assassin ran at Amy, taking the place of the one Edward had shot. He had twin swords, each glowing with ectoplasmic energy. Pulling back his arm, he threw the first one at her, running in to stab her with the second one. Amy looked over at Edward seeing him get stabbed with the dagger. "Edward!" she shouted seeing a knife bairly miss her head causing her eyes to widen and look at the other assassin comming at her. She stepped back and blocked the attack. "Why are you after, Edward?" she asked the stupid assassin. Edward shook his head, pushing the pain out of his mind, wishing he had been trained in hand-to-hand combat. He pulled the bloody dagger out of his arm, throwing it at one of the assassins. I'm supposed to only help myself... Then why did I kill the assassin attacking her, instead of the one attacking me? Stupid...emotions... The assassin fighting Amy just smirked. "Well... I don't know who 'Edward' is... But if you're talking about that stupid little kid... The training camp doesn't tolerate people running away... So we were sent to find and kill him..." He pulled his sword back and attacked again, aiming at her heart. "It's as simple as that..." Amy growled and blocked with an even bigger wind blade. "Ordered to kill, well there's goes your freewill." she hissed pushing the assassin back, lifting up her hands she threw wind blades at him. pinning him to the ground. She looked over at Edward and quickly ran over to him, "Why...did you defend me, I thought you only fought for yourself.." she lifted up her hand, it glowing a calm red. "Don't move...okay?" she whispered quietly as she began to heal up his arm. Edward pushed her hand away, shaking his head. "No... One left..." He shot another arrow at the final assassin, hitting him directly in the chest. He silently strapped the bow back in its place, and stared down at his injury, watching what was left of the blood trickle down his arm without any expression on his face. Amy pushed him down onto his bottom. "Don't move, Edward." she ordered him lifting up her hand again making it glow calm red. "Answer my question...why did you do that?" she said staring at him. "Why did you defend me?" Edward looked away, giving a small shrug. "Because... I..." He lifted his head as someone appeared a few feet away from them, out of thin air. "Time...medallions...?" he muttered, staring up at the person standing in front of them. "Recognize me, Sharpie?" He smirked down at them, clutching a knife in his hand. He looked like he was in his late teens, with short black hair and dark gray/blue eyes. "I'm one of those special assassins they send on 'find and kill' missions..." He glanced down at the knife he was holding. "But unfortunately I'm supposed to bring you back before you die... They want to torture you first." Sharpie stared blankly up at him, not saying a word. "And this is...?" The assassin raised an eyebrow at Amy. "Your girlfriend? Well, I guess we'll have to take her back and torture her too..." Amy glared at the black haired teen growling. "Shut up, you're not taking him back." she said looking back at him. "I'm not going to let you, touch him..." she looked down at her hands creating two blades. "Oh, so you are his girlfriend..." The assassin grinned at her, grabbing Edward by his injured arm, pulling him into a standing position and holding the knife up to his throat. "I can tell by how over-protective you are." Edward reached up to his neck, grabbing the blade of the knife, pushing it away from him. Cuts opened on the palm of his hand, but he didn't even flinch. "You were always a terrible brother..." he muttered, backing away from him. The assassin just shrugged, glancing down at Edward's blood on his knife. "Yeah... I guess I was... But why would I feel bad about it? Regret is a weakness... Right, Sharpie?" Edward took another step back, whispering softly to Amy, "Run..." Amy simpley shook her head, "No, I won't run...I'm to hardheaded to." she said looking at Edwards brother. "Stop calling him that!" she ordered throwing a knife at him scrapping his face. "And he's not my boyfriend." she said scuffing at him. "So, you're his brother huh?" she smirked. "Good thing I have no idea what that's like." "Well, this has been fun, but..." His brother shrugged, forming an ecto-beam in his hand. "But..." Edward struggled to keep the shock out of his voice as he stared at his brother. "What? Are you surprised about my new ghost abilities?" He smirked, glancing down at the edtoplasm in his hand. "It was only a matter of time before I could request the injection that gave me these powers..." He smirked at Amy. "You have them too, right? And from what I just heard before I was sent to capture you two... Your powers have been short-circuited." He sent ecto-binding at them, making it bind them together and wrap around them so they couldn't move. "Which means...you probably don't be able to get out of that using your ghost powers...right?" Amy looked down, "Crap..." she whispered under her breath. "Edward, I'm sorry..my powers aren't working yet..." she looked up at Edward's brother and glared at him. "...And I can't bend the wind, when I'm binded down like this...and you...you're going to probably die from putting ectoplasm into your body..." "Well... Even if I die..." His brother shrugged, tossing the knife in the air, catching it by its blade without even scratching himself. "It's been fun having these powers... Now shut up... You talk too much." He hit her in the head with the handle of the knife, hard enough to knock her out but not kill her. Edward felt a sudden rush of anger, but he kept his face calm as he stared back at his brother. "Don't hurt her..." "Don't worry... I probably won't be the one torturing you..." Edward's brother smirked, making his arm go intangible as he phased it into Edward's stomach. "I almost forgot... you won't be needing this anymore..." He pulled out the time medallion, dropping it to the ground. "Well...looks like it's time to go..." He held out his hand, opening a portal and stepping through it, into a dark room with various types of weapons lining the walls. Amy's vision died off as she was knocked out, she mumbled. "Mom...Dad...help.." before she was comepletely knocked out. When she woke up again she winced. "Where...am I?" she tried moving but her arms were chained up. "What...?" Edward glanced beside him, seeing Amy waking up. "They're deciding what torture methods they're going to use on us, and how to kill us afterward." His voice was perfectly calm. "Help me think of a way out of here." They were alone in the room, chained against the wall. He scanned the walls with his eyes, seeing various types of swords, daggers, scythes, spears, and other weaponry he had never seen in his life. Amy looked over at him nodding looking up at her hands...she couldn't make an ecto blade or a wind blade. "I...don't know what to do." she said calmly looking down. "I'm going to die here?" she closed her eyes. "I can't die...not here, my parents..." she whispered calmly. "Why are they going to torture us...all I want to do was go to the movies and- I end up here...this is wrong." she tilted her head down. "I won't cry...I won't..." she whispered to herself. "Stop it...don't cry, you promised not to anymore..." she wimpered shivering causing the chains to clank some. "...I'm scared.." "It's because..." Edward stared at the weapons on the walls, wondering which ones they'd be tortured with. "...they know I care about you... So they'll torture me first by making me watch as they slowly kill you..." He let his head fall sideways onto her shoulder. "Don't be scared. We'll get out of here eventually... It'll be okay..." Amy blushed and looked down with teary eyes. "...They're going to kill me?" she asked shivering. "I...can't help it...I've never felt...like this." she said with wide eyes hearing a door open, her heart began to beat. "Edward..." "Don't show them you're afraid..." Edward muttered, still resting his head on her shoulder. "You have to die without fear. Or...you could hide it... Hide the fact that you're afraid... Just don't give them any satisfaction..." "Hey, little brother!" Edward's brother stepped into the dark room, grinning. "Guess what!" He closed the door behind him, walking over to them. "I get to torture you two... Won't that be fun?" He held the cold blade of his knife against Edward's cheek, smirking. "I like when I get to torture people slowly and painfully..." He jabbed the blade into Edward's cheek, making a deep, painful cut. "But maybe I should make your girlfriend suffer first... That way you get to watch her die..." Edward pulled his head away from Amy's shoulder, staring at his brother, trying to think of a way to escape. Edward's brother turned to Amy, resting the bloody knife against her neck. "This'll be fun... " He pressed the blade against her neck, watching blood slowly trickle out of it. "Lots of fun..." Amy shivered slightly, looking down to hide her wet eyes and fear. She gasped lightly as she felt blood trickle out of her neck. "It hurts.." she whispered out loud. Edward squirmed around, making the chains clank loudly in a desperate attempt at breaking free. When he was positive that any type of escape was impossible, he stared at his brother, whispering, "Stop hurting her... She never did anything..." His brother smirked, trailing the tip of the blade down an inch, making another deeper cut on her neck. "But she's your little girlfriend... By hurting her, I'll be hurting you..." "No." Edward's voice was flat and emotionless. "I couldn't care less about her. She means nothing to me. She's just an innocent kid I ran into yesterday. Nothing more." He stared down at the ground. "Let her go. I'm the one you wanted to kill, so go ahead and kill me." "Oh, really?" His brother smirked, pulling the knife away from Amy. "So you wouldn't feel any type of emotion if I did...this?" He stabbed the knife into her shoulder, pulling it away and watching blood drip down her arm. Edward kept his face calm, even though he felt like killing his brother at that very moment. Using all his willpower, he kept his voice steady. "No. I told you... I don't care about her." He glanced sideways at Amy, watching blood drip from her cuts, hoping she knew he was lying to his brother. Amy held back a loud scream closing her eyes, why did it hurt so much that he was saying he didn't care for her? She looked away from him, why should she care? He was just to guy who she had her first kiss with...and the guy that saved her. "Idiot..." she whispered in a hurt voice unknowningly to herself she was crying from the pain in her shoulder. "You're such an idiot..." she put her head back down, remember a faint memory of her parents...when she was really small, they were in some fight...her dad ran off, and her mom went after him. She closed her eyes tightly wincing from the pain. "It...really...hurts.." Edward's brother smirked. "Well, Sharpie, I'm impressed... Maybe someday you'll become a true coldhearted assassin..." He glanced at his knife. "Oh, that's right... You have no future, because you're going to die right now..." Edward was still looking sideways at Amy, feeling another new emotion. What...is this? It...feels like...guilt... If there was only some way I could communicate with her...without him being able to hear it...He tilted his head down, looking away from her. "Go ahead...do whatever you want..." Why does it bother me so much to see her crying? His brother smirked, glancing in Amy's direction. "Well, it's obvious that you care about him... So I'll keep you here for now... You'll watch him die... And you'll have to live with it for the rest of your life...the fact that he died because you couldn't save him..." He grinned, slowly pushing the knife into Edward's chest, barely missing his heart. "Slow and painful, right?" his brother whispered, grinning. Edward kept his face calm and still, even though he felt like screaming in pain. Amy opened her eyes and looked up at Edward's brother. Maybe her powers were back? She closed her eyes, something happened she phased threw the chains! She looked back at Edward and his brother. She instantly phased Edward threw the chains then threw the floor. She stoped flying as soon as they got 'outside' of the camp. She put him down and wobbled to the ground holding her shoulder. "Why...did you say all those things?" she asked in her hurt quiet voice. "I thought you said...you cared about me..." she squeezed her arm tightly closing her eyes, pulling her hand away staring at the blood. "...It hurts..." she cried silently wipping tears away from her eyes. "...I c-can't cry...no...stop it, Amy...stop.." she said in a whisper. "Just stop...crying.." Edward picked up a stick, tracing in the dirt. "...I had to say something to make him stop hurting you. Telling him I didn't care about you was the easiest solution." The stick broke in half, so he picked up another one, continuing to draw on the ground. "The reason I said that...was because I do care about you. I saw your blood... And then you were crying... It was hurting me..." He shrugged, looking over at her, keeping his gray eyes emotionless. "I don't know why... I just knew I wanted you to stop crying... I wanted you to feel better." Amy looked over at him with her wet eyes. "So you lied?" she asked shocked for a second before looking away. "Where are we?..." she asked looking down, "Is there anyway...for me to get back home?" "I...bought a time medallion to get away from this place..." Edward silently moved closer to her. "There are tons of those stolen medallions all over the place. I'll get you back to your home... I promise." He put one of his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. Cupping her chin in one hand, he tilted her head up, kissing her softly on the lips. Amy kissed him back and slowly pulled out of the kiss. "But...what about you?" she asked staring up at him. "...You're comming with me right?" she asked tilting her head down blushing. "I don't want you to die, Edward.." "I...can only come with you if we can get two time medallions." Edward looked away from her, staring up at the sky, seeing dark gray storm clouds forming. "But I thought I'm an 'idiot'... Why would you want me to go home with you?" He pulled her even closer, muttering, "It's going to rain..." Amy kept her head down as it began to rain. "...Because, I don't want you to die..." she whispered to him as he pulled her closer. "I-I don't want that to happen, because of me.." she closed her eyes. "I'm getting in your way, I don't want you to get hurt...or die because of me..." "It's okay..." Edward kept staring up at the sky, feeling drops of rain fall onto his face. "Everything dies... The only question is, when? I always thought about how I'd die..." He bent his head down, watching his scribbles in the dirt fade away into mud. "I always pictured myself being killed in action...while assassinating someone... But now..." He finally looked back at her, giving a small smile. "I'd be happy to die for you." Amy blushed feeling her heart begen to pound again, why was he making her feel like this?!...it was driving her crazy. She looked away. "Thank you..." she whispered smiling softly back at him, "I hope you can find a soul mate after all this..." "What's a soul mate?" Edward blinked, staring at her, feeling the rain start to fall faster. He heard a low rumble of thunder off in the distance. "Can...I be your soul mate?" Amy blushed even a deeper shade of red as she looked back at him, "A-A soul mate is someone who you'll spend the rest of your life with." she said looking away. "Someone you marry...have a family with.." "Oh..." Edward remained silent for a few minutes, staring up at the dark sky. His voice was soft as he finally spoke again. "...Can I...be your...soul mate?" he whispered again, not looking at her. Amy looked over at him frowning silently, blushing even redder. "...Why would you want to marry me?" she asked looking away from him. "I'm just getting in your way...and...and you don't..." she tilted her head down. "You...don't love me...so why be my soul mate?" Edward stared down at the ground, feeling rain drip down his face. "...You...don't love me... I'm...sorry..." He closed his blank gray eyes, trying to hide all the new emotions he was experiencing. "It...was...a stupid question..." "You idiot..." Amy whispered closing her eyes, "I do love you!" she blurted out blushing...her heart beat began to speed up, she looked away. "It doesn't even matter...you're always...holding back your emotions..." she whispered quietly tilting her head down so her long dirty blond hair was touching the ground. "...Oh..." Something that resembled shock appeared on Edward's face, but he turned his head away so she couldn't see. "Lately...it's been harder to hold back my emotions...especially around you... I never said a word to anyone before I met you... I smiled for you...twice..." Once he was sure the shock has faded from his face, he turned back to face her again. "What do you think the reason is for all those things? I...don't know what love is...but...I think...I...love you..." "Then please, show your emotions in front of me!" Amy said staring at him with sad eyes. "Please...even if I have to show you...how...just show me your emotions.." she looked away. "...I don't want you to...die." she whispered quietly putting her head onto his shoulder. "I'll show you, how to use your emotions...please let me..." she squeezed his shirt slightly. "Please.." "...Fine..." Edward whispered, letting out a deep breath, forcing himself to relax and stop holding back all his emotions. "...Okay..." The first thing he felt was his face getting warm, which was strange, and completely new. He reached up and timidly touched his cheek with one hand. "Amy..." Amy looked up slowly opening her eyes seeing him blushing...she smiled softly, "You're...blushing." she said quietly leaning forward towards him kissing him on the lips harder then usual...one time she had walked in on her parents, it was embarassing...but still she saw what she was about to do to him...she gulped silently pushing him down onto the ground and kissing him harder and she began to un-button her shirt. One button at a time. "Blushing..." Edward repeated, pulling away after kissing her back, feeling his face get even warmer as she began to un-button her shirt. He instinctively pulled back his emotions as he felt his heart beating faster, but let them go again when he remembered how Amy had pleaded with him. "Just...let them go... It's...okay..." he whispered softly to himself, reaching up and gently touching the next button on her shirt. Pausing for a few seconds, he slowly un-did the button, still blushing. Amy closed her eyes a he un-did the last button and took off her shirt. "Edward..." she whispered quietly staring down at him blushing she bent down to him. "I'm going to help you...I promise.." she whispered slowly laying down next to him, "I promise..." "Thank you..." It was so easy to smile now that Edward wasn't trying to hold back his emotions. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He silently sat up and got on top of Amy, pinning her gently to the ground. "...for helping me..." He kissed her lips softly, not noticing that his hand was trailing down to her chest. Amy blushed and kissed him back, as she pulled out of the kiss she looked down noticing his hand was near her chest. She stared up at him blushing blood red before looking away...this was what she saw her parents doing...except they had no clothes on. She blushed at the thought, looking away still she closed her eyes. Edward kissed her harder, still not noticing his hand was now touching her chest. He pulled away from the kiss, staring down at his hand, blushing bright red. "Is this...what people do when they love each other?" He asked softly, tilting his head to the side, letting his other hand slide onto her chest. Amy stared up at him blushing. "I...don't know, my parents were doing this...but..." she blushed blood red. "N-Nevermind..." she felt him touch both sides of her chest. "Edward..." "But...?" Edward blinked, still blushing lightly as he glanced down at his hands. He took his eyes away from her chest, staring at her face instead, leaning closer to her. "But...what?" Amy shook her head, "Nothing...it's nothing..." she said quietly closing her eyes. "...They...had no clothes on while they did this..." "Oh..." Edward whispered softly, blushing bright red. "Do...you think..." "Well, well, little brother..." A mocking voice was heard behind them. "So she is your little girlfriend..." Edward turned his head, sitting up and staring at his brother. The blush quickly faded from his face and he spread his arms out protectively in front of Amy. "I brought some friends, too..." His brother grinned as two other assassins appeared next to him. "You didn't think you could escape that easily, did you, Sharpie?" He gave a small nod and the two other assassins, armed with swords, ran at Edward. "Amy... Just run..." Edward whispered, clenching his fists as he watched the attackers coming closer with every second. Amy's eyes sadened and she turned and ran off away from him. "He...was going to ask me...to..." she shook here head and kept running. "...Why, am I running..?" she asked herself looking down shivering. "I've...got to help him..." Edward gave a relieved sigh as she ran. "Toldja..." he whispered, waiting for the assassins to come a bit closer so he could make his move. "Toldja...I'd die for you..." As each assassin swept at his sides with their swords, he grabbed the blades, cutting open his hands, sending blood everywhere. It was excruciatingly painful, but at least it stopped him from being killed. Silently, he pulled the swords out of their hands, flipping them around so he was holding them properly. He stabbed the assassins on each side, staring down at the ground as he pulled the swords out of them once they were dead. "Two down..." He stared at his older brother, who was just smirking. "...one...to go... Amy...just...stay safe...please..." Amy came running from behind a tree, right behind Edward's older brother she slid from it being so wet outside and she fell right behind him bumping into the assassins legs. She winced and rubbed her head. "Ouch..." Edward's brother smirked, bending down so he was kneeling beside Amy. "Well, look who it is... Dear brother's little girlfriend..." He poked her chest with a finger, still smirking. "May I ask why you're not wearing a shirt? Were you two being naughty?" Edward held back a hateful glare as he threw one of the swords at his brother. Snickering, his older brother just deflected it with an ecto-beam. "Be careful, little Sharpie... Wouldn't want to accidentally hit your little girlfriend with that sword..." He grinned, putting an arm around her. "I know how bad you are with weapons like swords and daggers... Terrible aim, if I'm not mistaken..." He pulled her closer, still smirking. "That means there's always a chance you could accidentally kill her... Wouldn't want to take that risk, would you?" Amy gasped feeling him put an around around her, "Let me go." she said kicking him and trying to back out of his grip. "Let me go, you pervert!" she shouted slapping him across the face. "Let me go." "Ow..." Edward's brother glared at her, tightening his grip around her. "You've got a violent little girlfriend here..." He reached into his pocket, pulling out the knife he had used before, holding it up to her neck. "Maybe I should teach her a lesson..." "Leave her alone..." Edward threw the other sword to the ground, reaching for his bow instead. He reached behind him to pull an arrow out of the quiver strapped onto his back. Feeling nothing there, he twisted his head around, seeing he had no arrows left. "Aww... Poor little Sharpie..." His brother smirked, tilting Amy's chin up with the side of his knife. "No more arrows... How sad..." He leaned closer to her, smirking. "I guess that means he won't be able to shoot me... It gives us more 'alone time' anyway, right?" He smirked at Amy, kissing her lips with the knife still pressed against her neck. "Stop...touching her..." Edward hissed, throwing his useless bow to the ground, picking up the other sword again. He took a step closer to them, whispering, "Leave her alone..." Amy's eyes widened and she made her hands glow a dark red. She put it against his chest throwing him away from her, She lifted up her arm to her lips and began wipping them with teary eyes. "...You pervert..." she said with wet eyes. "...You..pervert..." she closed her eyes and covered her chest shivering. Edward's brother just smirked, whispering softly, "Hard to get, hm?" He casually glanced at his younger brother. "Oh... Dear little brother should be attacking soon..." At that moment, Edward sent the sword flying at him, missing his head by inches. His brother smirked, standing up, forming an ecto-beam in his hand. "Well... Your aim has improved... But that was an extremely stupid move... Now you're completely unarmed..." He grinned, sending the ecto-beam at him. "Whatcha gonna do, little brother?" Edward closed his eyes, keeping a straight face as the ecto-beam sent him slamming back into a tree trunk. Numbing pain spread throughout his back, and he wondered if he had broken his spine when he collided with the tree. "Amy..." he whispered, not opening his eyes. "Just...run..." Amy stood up nodding to herself forming two ecto swords. "And leave you behind...no way." she said getting in front of him. "I know how to use swords and daggers, thanks to my dad." she said glaring at Edward's brother. "I won't run away." "Amy..." Edward whispered, staring up at her from his position on the ground, feeling another wave of pain go through his back. "Kill...him...please..." "Aww... How sweet..." Edward's brother stood up, running his fingers through his hair. "Standing up for people you care about..." He smirked, forming ecto-beams in both hands, sending them at Amy. "You know...I won't hurt you if you let me have some more...ah...'alone time' with you...Amy..." Amy sliced the ecto-beams away. "I hate you, you can't just use me!" she said making an ecto-blade dissapper. She lifted up her hand sending a wave of ecto-knifes at his brother. "Besides...you're an aweful kisser.." "Aww... Amy... You're so...cold..." His brother made a mocking sad face, dodging a few of the knives and going intangible, letting the rest phase through him. "You're hurting me... Breaking my poor little heart..." He sent a wave of ecto-beams at her, making sure they all barely missed. Walking closer to her, he whispered, "My offer still stands..." He grabbed her hand, smirking. "I like girls like you... Cute, even when you're totally pissed off..." "No, let go of me!" Amy shouted stabbing his arm deeply and tried pulling her hand away. "Let me go!" "That hurt, you little..." Edward's brother took a deep breath, cutting himself off and forcing another smirk onto his face. He tightened his grip on her hand, which sent more blood running down his arm, onto Amy's hand. "Nope, sorry..." He made a small cut on her cheek, licking up a drop of blood that trickled out. "I don't think I want to let you go..." He tried to ignore the pain in his arm, but the blood loss was making him feel slightly dizzy. "Why did you stab me, Amy?" he asked in a hurt voice, bending his head down to hide a smirk. "Why did you hurt me?" Amy made her hand go intangable and she quickly pushed him away from her, she quickly ran over to Edward and bent down to him and healed him up. "Edward...wake up..." she didn't hear an answer and she quickly picked him up and quickly went invisable, and quickly flew into the air as fast and as far as she could go. "Edward...wake up..." she cried out bending her head down to him crying... "...I want you to hold me...to kiss me...to touch me...just wake up.." "Farewell!" Edward's brother grinned, waving in the direction in which Amy had flown. "Until we meet again, sweetheart!" He lowered his voice, still keeping a grin on his face. "Very soon" - - - Edward let out a soft moan, struggling to open his eyes. "Amy..." he whispered, managing to open his eyes halfway. "I... I feel..." He closed his eyes, fighting the urge to cry out in pain. "...broken... Please... Do something... Help...me..." "Don't...Don't move." Amy said crying as she touching his chest. "I can heal...you...don't...move..." she closed her eyes as his began to glow a faint red. "Edward...you're...okay now..." she whispered quietly, she rubbed her wrist where his brother had squeezed. "...It hurts..." "Thank you..." Edward kept his eyes closed, feeling tired and dizzy. "Thank...you..." He reached out, touching her chest with a shaky hand. "Your...shirt...is still gone... You can...borrow mine...if you want..." He squeezed his hand, not realizing what exactly he was doing. "Please...don't cry..." Amy quietly moaned and she blushed realizing what she just did...she covered her mouth. Looking away, "...I'm...not crying anymore..." she said shivering. Edward shivered, hearing her moan, staring at her with wide eyes. He was feeling yet another new emotion, and it was different from all the others. It made him want to squeeze his hand harder, to make her moan again. "Amy..." he whispered softly, squeezing his hand again. "...A-Amy..." Amy moaned again blushing deep red as he squeezed his hand. "E-Edward...what..are you...?" she leaned against a tree behind her breathing deeply. "Why..does...it feel good..?" "I...don't know..." Edward whispered, shivering again as she moaned. "...why it feels good... It's like...there's no explanation you can put into words, right? It just feels so..." He trailed off, blushing deep red, looking away. "N-not that...I was... I mean..." He was letting his emotions get out of control again, without even realizing it. "I'm not... I... I wasn't...enjoying that or anything..." He looked away, hesitating for a few seconds before putting his other hand up against her chest, squeezing both at the same time. "Well...maybe...just a little..." Amy blushed and moaned again breathing deeply. "This...this is what my parents were doing...with nothing on..." she said blushing deep red... "This is what...they were doing.." Edward nodded, blushing, looking away. "I... I was...going to ask before..." He took a deep breath, forcing himself to speak without stammering. "...If you wanted to do what your parents were doing... If you say no...I understand..." He squeezed his hands again, kissing her lips softly, pulling away slowly. "...I...understand..." Amy blushed with wide eyes and looked away after he kissed her. "...I...don't know..." she whispered while gulping. "I...I'm wanting to wait...till I get married to do 'that'..." she blushed at stared at him as he squeezed his hands again.. "But...I guess...I can...w-with you..." Edward stared at her, blushing. "Amy... It's okay... I don't want you to feel like you're forced to do anything... If you want to wait...you can wait..." He looked away, whispering, "I'm sure...you'll want to wait until you find your...soul mate..." Amy blushed and tilted her head down. "But I have!" she said looking up at him blushing. "I found you...please...You're not forcing me at all...it's okay.." she pressed her chest against him. "...You can if you want...too." "A-Amy..." Edward whispered as she pressed her chest against him, making him shiver again. "So...you...do want to be my soul mate..." He nodded, pulling away and taking off his shirt, not making eye contact with her. Once his shirt was off he leaned back toward her, kissing her lips softly, pressing his chest against hers. Pulling away, he whispered, "I'll make sure you get back home...okay?" Amy blushed and looked over at him nodding. "Thank...you.." she whispered softly kissing him again before pulling away. "Let's...wait...for just a while longer..." she said quietly. "Until we get to a room...with a bed, it would be awkward to say 'this' happened in the woods." she looked away. "But..Thank you, Edward.." Edward nodded, kissing her again, pulling away slowly. "Thank...you..." He picked up his shirt, handing it to her. "You can...use this..." He looked away. "Your shirt... I think you left it back when we were fighting my brother..." He stood up, offering her a hand. "It shouldn't be too hard to find some time medallions... They're everywhere... We'll probably find some being sold on a street corner... Then we'll get you home." He started to hold back a smile, but shook his head, looking away. "Sorry... I... I'm so used to holding everything back..." He looked back at her, smiling softly. "That's better, right? Now let's go..." Amy blushed and nodded taking his hand after she put on his shirt. "I don't know when I'll get home, or even if I will get home but..." she sighed and squeezed his hands. "I'll spend the time I have...with you." she said kissing him on the lips softly. "Thank you." Edward nodded, holding back a smile, still so used to hiding his feelings. "Let's...go... Let's go find you a way home..." He started walking, but paused, looking back at her. "Do you...think you can use your powers to fly us to the main city? I know where it is... I can give you directions... We should be able to find time medallions there... And then everything will be okay..." Amy nodded quietly stepping over to him she put her arms under his arms and began floating upward. "Which way?" Edward pointed slightly to the left. "That way... It's past the camp, a mile or two through a forest, and we should be there... And could you fly low, so people don't see us?" He glanced around them, making sure no one was watching them. "They're probably still trying to find and kill me..." Amy nodded floating down as she began flying towards the left and past the camp...landing on the outskirts of the city she looked over at Edward. "Let's go.." "Okay..." Edward stared down the street ahead of them, pointing to vendors standing by their carts full of merchandise. "There's always someone selling something illegal here...such as time medallions... Keep a sharp eye and you'll find one soon..." He walked to the left side of the street, glancing at the different items for sale. "Oh... By the way..." He turned back to Amy. "Would you happen to have any money with you at the moment? We...can't buy anything without money..." he muttered, stuffing his hands into his own empty pockets. "No...I'm wairing my running shorts." Amy said putting her hands on her pockets. "Are we...going to have to...'take' something?" she asked looking at him blinking. "I can just go intangable and get two...you know." "Yeah, but it's...stealing..." Edward blinked. "Why...should I care, anyway? Stupid emotions..." He shrugged, spotting a medallion on one vendor's cart. "Well, there's one..." he muttered to Amy. "That's your ticket home..." He glanced around, searching for another one. "Go ahead...take it... I'll go look for another one..." He walked casually across the street, peering at the items people were selling. "And I'll steal it the old-fashioned way..." he muttered to himself, eyeing a time medallion hidden under a pile of junk for sale. He slowly slid his hand under the pile of stuff, trying not to draw attention to himself, but the seller spotted him out of the corner of his eye. Edward pulled the time medallion away from the cart, sprinting away down the street. "Well...that was fun..." he muttered, hiding behind a tree in the forest near the outskirts of the city. "And Amy should have no problem stealing her medallion..." Sitting invisibly in a tree above Edward's head, his brother raised an eyebrow. Leaving so soon, Sharpie? Well, I guess I'll just have to follow you and your cute little girlfriend... Amy quickly saw her chance, she went invisable grabbing the time medallion and phased threw the ground. Appearing behind Edwatd she smiled. "We can go home now!" she said while hugging him. "Are you ready?" Edward nodded, hugging her in return. "Yeah... I'm ready..." He pulled away, staring down at the medallion in his hand. "I don't remember how this thing works... I was running away from those assassins when I first used one..." He shrugged. "I was just thinking that I wanted to be somewhere...anywhere...else... And then all of a sudden I ran into you and I was in a completely different place..." He blinked, tilting his head to the side. "...Or maybe it was the same place...just so different...because of how far I traveled in time." He blinked again, staring at Amy. "Maybe we're just supposed to think about it... Do you know what year you lived in?" His brother took out his own medallion from his pocket, staring at it with a bored expression. Jeez... Hurry up, already... The sooner you get her home, the sooner I can have more alone time with her... He smirked, staring down at Amy. Amy looked over at Edward and nodded. "The year, 2032.." she said looking down at her medallion and placed it on. "I feel funny..." she whispered taking his hand as they began to go back to Amy's home. She blinked a couple of times, "We're...back..." "2032, hm?" Edward's brother smirked, putting on his own medallion, appearing invisibly in Amy's time period, only a few yards away from them. Edward nodded, looking around them. "Yeah... We did it..." He cast a suspicious glance over his shoulder, but saw nothing there. "Let's...go..." Still holding her hand, he walked to her house, stopping at the front door and glancing over his shoulder again. Amy opened her front door and stepped inside, spotting her mom and dad in the living room. "Mom! Dad!" she cried out running over to Ricky first hugging him tightly. "I missed you..." she whispered softly squeezing him tightly. "I love you, daddy..." she said quietly hugging him tightly. "I missed you, daddy..." the blood from the stab came out of her shoulder and went onto Ricky's shirt. Ricky blinked, hugging her back. "I...love you too, Amy..." He gently pulled away and his eyes widened as he saw the blood on her shoulder. "Amy! What happened to you?" He shot an accusatory glare at Edward. "Who hurt you, Amy!?" Edward stared blankly back at Ricky, not saying a word or showing any emotion. Amy looked at her shoulder blinking, "...I...was...stabbed by some...creep." she said frowning. "That's it..." "Amy, come with me..." Karen said staring at her with sad eyes. "Let's go get that cleaned up.." "O-Okay..." Amy whispered glancing at Ricky then at Edward, then walked into the kitchen with Karen. Leaving Edward and Ricky alone. Ricky waited until they were both out of the room before glaring at Edward and bursting out, "It was you, wasn't it!?" Edward blinked, simply shaking his head. "Jeez, why don't you say something!" Ricky kept glaring at him. "I don't know why I even let you into our house in the first place... Who the heck are you, anyway!?" Edward blinked at him. "I'm Amy's soul mate." "Her what!?" "Soul mate." Edward kept a straight face. He didn't like Ricky much. "Amy told me it's the person you marry and have a family with." "My daughter is not going to have a family with a creep like you!" Ricky glared at him. "Pfft... Soul mate... Jeez... I think I should have a little talk with Amy..." Karen and Amy walked back into the livingroom looking over at Ricky and Edward. "She's okay...it was pretty deep but...I've seen worse." she said smiling softly. "Edward, was your name right?" she asked smiling. "Can you help me with breakfast, please?" Amy smiled softly over at Ricky. "Dad?" she asked sitting down next to him. "I really like him...Edward..." she said softly looking down blushing. "What do...you think of him?" Edward blinked and nodded, following Karen into the kitchen. He wondered how she could possibly be soul mates with someone like Ricky, who shouted so much. - - - Ricky glared straight ahead, not looking at her. "I think he's a creep. He just stares at you, and doesn't say anything. And then when he did talk, he told me disturbing things about you two." He shook his head. "Soul mates... Jeez..." Karen looked back at Edward. "So, you like Amy?" she asked looking over at him smiling softly. "I can tell you fancy her.." - Amy blushed and stared at her dad. "Dad, that's not true!" she said to him with sad eyes. "He does talk, he doesn't just stare at me! He...kissed me, touch me..." she looked down. "He said that, well...it's...it's true.." Edward turned his head away, trying to hide a blush. It was getting harder and harder to control his emotions, which was a fact that was aggravating him. He gave a small nod, looking back at her once he thought his blush was gone. "She's my soul mate" - - - Ricky sat up straighter, staring at Amy with disbelief in his eyes. "He touched you!?" He walked over to the kitchen, slamming the door open, pointing a finger at Edward. "Don't you touch my daughter ever again, creep!" Karen smiled sweetly again seeing him blush. "I see.." she said simpley turning back to her food she was making. "...You remind me so much of Ricky, when I first met him...emotionless" - Amy ran after her dad blushing blood red as she entered the kitchen hearing Ricky shout that. "D-Dad..." she whispered with tears in her eyes looking away. "I hate you.." she whispered running off from the kitchen. Karen stared at Ricky then at Amy. "Ricky..." she whispered then watched Amy run off. "Amy!" she shouted after her running off. Ricky blinked, staring after Amy. "What...did I do...?" he muttered. He looked like he had just been slapped across the face. "She... She said..." Edward silently ran after Amy, pushing past Ricky as he ran out the door. "Amy... Amy, wait!" He kept his face calm, even though so many thoughts and emotions were running through his mind all at the same time. Back in the kitchen, Ricky was leaning against the wall, staring at Karen with a pained look in his eyes. "Karen... What...did I do? I was just trying to protect her... What am I supposed to do...?" Amy shut her door and landed on her bed crying. "Why, did he say that...it's my desision...mine.." she squeezed her pillow tightly. "Edward" - Karen stared sadly at Ricky. "She want's you to accept she's grown up.." she said softly. "That's all she wants..." Edward ran after her, stopping in front of her closed door. He knocked softly, murmuring, "Amy" - - - Ricky shook his head. "But she's not grown up! She's still...just a kid..." He looked away, sighing. "And if she gets hurt...because she's hanging out with that creep... It's my job to look after her! Jeez... Can't she see I'm just trying to protect her!?" Amy lifted her head up as Edward knocked on her door. "Edward..." she whispered softly sniffling as she wipped her eyes. "C-Come in" - "Ricky, I had Amy...when I was her age." Karen said sadly. "She's 16 years old...Ricky, you have to let her grown up!" Karen raised her voice at him. Edward opened the door, walking over to her bed and sitting down on the edge. "It's okay, Amy... He just wants to protect you, that's all..." He tilted his head down. "You only got hurt because you were with me when we were kidnapped..." He looked back over at her, speaking softly. "He... He said he wouldn't let me marry you...or have a family with you..." He tilted his head to the side, asking randomly, "...Am I really a creep" - - - "Yeah, but..." Ricky flinched as Karen rasied her voice. "We don't even know where that kid came from! She's only known him for a day, and he already told me they were going to have a family together!" He spread out his hands, staring at her. "Having a family means kids! Kids!" Amy looked back at Edward shaking her head. "N-No..." she whispered staring at him. "You're not...a creep..." she felt herself choak so she put her head back down into the pillow. "We're going...to have a family...I don't care if my dad says no...I won't listen to him, he still thinks I'm a child" - Karen raised her voice again. "It took me only a day to realize I loved you!" she said stepping towards him. "Ricky, this is her decision!...You don't own her.." Edward laid down beside her, reaching out with one hand and gently tilting her face towards him, away from her pillow. "Thank...you..." He kissed her lips softly, hugging her with his other arm. - - - Ricky flinched again, looking away. "I know... I know I don't own her... I'm just...worried about her... That's all... I didn't mean to upset her..." He looked back at Karen. "I was just...trying to help her... I know I can be overprotective, and I'm sorry..." He sighed, looking away again. "I just want her to be safe, that's all..." Amy blushed and kissed him back softly slowly her tears stoped. "...I just don't want...I don't want him to be so over protective of me..." she put her head against his chest. "I want to make my own decisions..." she looked up at him. "Do you...want to...do it right now..?" she asked looking up at him blushing. "I-I do...if you want to" - Karen hugged him gently. "I know you do..." she said softly. "After all...she's, just like you.." Edward blushed bright red, even though he was trying so hard to hold it back. "And...I want to...if you want to..." He hugged her gently, nodding, slowly reaching out and grabbing her shirt sleeve. "Amy... I'm..." He looked away. "...nervous" - - - Ricky nodded, hugging her back. "Yeah... But she has your eyes..." He smiled, closing his eyes. "I love her so much... I just don't want anything to happen to her... But I guess I can't stop her from doing...what she wants to do..." "M-Me...as well..." Amy said as she kissed him softly on the lips before sitting up. "Hold on..." she quickly went to her door and locked it, standing there for a second before whispering, "Okay..." she walked back over to Edward before taking her shirt off, letting her bra straps go down her arm. - Karen smiled. "Yea...thank you, Ricky..." she whispered kissing him softly. Edward blushed again as she took her shirt off. Looking away, he took his shirt off, letting it drop to the ground. He slowly reached his hand out, touching one of her bra straps, giving it a gentle pull. "Amy..." he whispered, just wanting to say her name. "...A-Amy" - - - Ricky kissed her back, smiling as he pulled away. "Maybe...we should go to our room now..." He hugged her tightly, phasing up through the ceiling into their room. Amy blushed as he pulled gently. "...Edward, why do I feel...like I shouldn't, be doing this?" she asked staring at him in his eyes frowning lightly. "...I...I don't-know" - Karen smiled and hugged him back, "Yeah..." she whispered smiling. "...Should we, check on Amy first?" she asked worried. "Just...to see if she's feeling better?" she asked laying next to him. Edward looked away, trying to keep a straight face. "If...you don't want to... It's okay..." He pushed her down onto her back, kissing her softly on the lips. As he pulled away he whispered, "...It's...okay... I understand... I'm sorry..." He leaned down again, kissing her while tugging on her bra strap without realizing it. - - - Ricky looked away, hesitating. He knew that bratty little kid had followed Amy and was probably in her room at the very moment, but... "She should be okay... After all, she's got her precious soul mate with her... And...she's not a kid anymore, either... She'll be okay." Amy blushed blood realizing her bra was now pulled below her chest, she stared up at him. "E-Edward..." she whispered with wide eyes. "I'm...j-just confused that's...all" - Karen looked at Ricky smiling softly, "You're worried about her..." she slowly sat up, "Come on, let's just go check on them both." she said softly taking his hand standing up. Edward tilted his head to the side, still not realizing he had pulled on her bra strap. "I'm confused too... That's why I'm not trying to think..." He leaned closer to her, pinning her down. "That's why I'm just letting my body do what it wants to do..." He kissed her lips again, continuing to pull down her bra. - - - Ricky sighed, nodding. "Yeah... Okay..." He walked to Amy's room with Karen, trying the doorknob. "It's...locked..." he muttered, glaring at the door. "Locking the door...is definitely a bad sign..." He pulled on her hand, phasing through the door. "Oh, jeez..." he whispered, staring at them. He raised his voice once he had recovered from shock. "Hey, kid! I thought I told you not to touch my daughter!" Edward blinked, pulling out of the kiss, just staring silently at Ricky. Amy pulled out of the kiss staring at her dad and mom with wide eyes and a red face. "D-Dad...you..." she closed her eyes. "You can't control me!" she blurted out still keeping her eyes closed. "I can do what ever I want!" she said staring at him. "You don't own me..." Karen looked at Edward then at Ricky pushing him against the wall. "Ricky...don't do anything you'll regret..." she whispered softly. "...Amy, what are you doing?" she asked glaring back at them. "This isn't like you..." "Well, maybe I was tired of the quiet me!" Amy said staring at her. "I love him, and besides! You and dad did this when you were my age so just- stop it!" Ricky blushed lightly, looking away. "Yeah, but... We were... It was...different... We..." He let out a soft sigh, putting a hand to his head. "Amy... You know I don't like that kid... I'm just trying to protect you from him... He's..." He looked back at them. "...just trouble...for all of us..." Edward slowly got off of Amy, feeling awkward and confused. "I...love her too..." he added quietly, looking away. "Stop it, dad!" Amy said with teary eyes. "He's not trouble...he's not.." she tilted her head down to her bangs covered her face. She looked over at Edward and quickly took him by the hand. "Just let me grow up..." she said quietly phasing threw the ceiling. "Amy!" Karen called after her then looked over at Ricky. "Ricky...let's...go." she said softly looking at him with her sad brown eyes. "It'll...all be...okay, I hope so.." "Amy..." Edward murmured, looking away as she took his hand and phased through the ceiling. "I'm sorry... This is...my fault..." He put his other arm around her in an awkward hug. "You wouldn't be upset if I hadn't shown up in the first place..." He looked away, squeezing her tightly. - - - Ricky stared up at the ceiling. "Amy..." He turned to Karen, looking away once he met her eyes. "...It's not going to be okay... She hates me... And it's all because I'm concerned about her... How is that fair!?" Amy floated down keeping her bangs over her eyes. "...It's not your fault, Edward..." she said softly hugging him tightly back. "I-It's not" - Karen steped back from him, "Ricky." she said softly. "I-I don't...don't know...but I think she thinks that you think that you own her..." she said softly looking down. Edward shook his head, looking away. "I'm still sorry... I thought everything would be okay when you got home..." He sighed, closing his eyes. "Your dad...hates me... He doesn't want me to be your soul mate..." He hugged her tighter. "What am I supposed to do" - - - Ricky pushed her against the wall, pinning her arms so she couldn't push him away. "Stop it... Stop saying that..." He tilted his head down, keeping his voice low, trying to push painful memories out of his mind. "I know I don't own her... I don't own anyone... Just...stop saying that... Stop it..." Amy looked down, "My dad's a clueless hardheaded person..." she said softly putting her head down onto his shoulder. "I don't know...but I'm going to marry you...wether he approves of it or not" - Karen stared at him, he hadn't pinned her in over 16 years. "Ricky...that's...what she thinks.." she said softly staring at him. "It's the truth..." Edward nodded, tilting his head to the side, resting it on top of her head. "Thank you..." His voice got softer as he looked up at the sky. "I have a father... But he never cared what happened to me... He was always so focused on the favorite child... My brother..." He looked down and closed his eyes. "It was always about my brother... My mother is...gone...so no one can stop me from marrying you... Nobody knows or cares" - - - Ricky shook his head. "Stop it... Just...shut up..." He squeezed his eyes shut, still trying to block out memories. "Just leave me alone... Stop bringing them back... Those memories..." He opened his eyes, glaring at her. "Stop it!" "Oh.." Amy whispered softly closing her eyes. "I'm sorry..." she said hugging him tightly. "...We're...going to be a family I promise." smiling softly she pulled out of the hug rubbing her eyes. - "R-Ricky...I didn't mean to..." Karen looked away from his glare, with wet eyes. "I'm...I'm sorry..." she said looking down. "I didn't mean to--bring back that memory.." Edward shook his head, looking away. "There's nothing to be sorry for... After all...what kind of a father has a favorite son who loves to hurt people?" He shook his head again. "But...my brother... He's still back home... Back at...my home... He'll never find you here..." He let himself smile weakly. "He probably doesn't even know we're gone..." Aaron gave a silent smirk, watching them from a tree. Sorry, little brother... But I should be making my move soon... Very soon... And then your precious little girlfriend will be mine. - - - Ricky glared at her, grabbing her by her wrists and pushing her onto the bed, keeping his head bent down. "It hurts so much... Remembering that day... I killed him... I stabbed you... You told me you were leaving..." He got on top of her, pinning her down. "It all hurts so much, and you just had to bring it back..." Amy tilted her head to the side. "...I hope so, I don't like him one bit." she said closing her mouth hearing a tree russle she looked up. "We should...go somewhere...to hide from my parents" - "I-I didn't mean to..." Karen said in a studder, over the year's Karen had gotten softer then before. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I didn't mean..to.." Edward nodded, taking her hand. "Okay... Let's go..." Aaron smirked, dropping from the tree, floating over to them and overshadowing his brother. Edward froze completely for a second or two, and then Aaron had full control. "So...Amy..." He turned his head away to hide his smirk. "Where do you want to go" - - - Ricky's eyes softened as he heard Karen stuttering, but he kept his head down, not letting her see. "It...doesn't matter... It still hurts... I thought I finally pushed that memory out of my mind..." He shivered, leaning down closer to her. "Thanks to you, it's back, and it's hurting so much... I don't really know what to do..." He pinned her harder, pushing down on her arms. "I don't want to hurt you... But... It's...hurting me...so much..." "I don't know..." Amy said softly looking down, "Anywhere...is fine." she said looking over at him. "Where...do you want to go" - Karen's eyes widened, "N-No...please, Ricky..." she said with sad wide eyes. "I didn't mean too..." she said with watery eyes. "I...I didn't..." Aaron shrugged, looking back at Amy once his smirk was gone and his face was emotionless. "It doesn't matter..." He gave a soft smile, squeezing her hand. "...Amy?" he asked, looking away. "...Can I kiss you...please?" He spoke softly, trying to hide the emotion in his voice, just like Edward. Just act exactly like him... Don't slip up and she won't suspect a thing. - - - "I know you didn't mean to..." Ricky let his bangs cover his eyes. "Even when I told you I knew I didn't own her...you just had to remind me...that she thought I did..." He raised his voice slightly, glaring at her. "You just had to! ...That was the worst day of my life... Worse than anything..." He clutched his head with one hand, pinning her down with his other hand. "It still hurts... And it's...your fault... Just make it stop hurting..." Amy looked over at Edward and nodded, "Okay..." she said softly leaning in and kissing him softly on the lips. - Karen's watery eyes got worse as he blamed her. "I...don't know how..." she said with tears comming out her eyes. "...I don't know what to do, I'm sorry..." she closed her eyes. "I'm...so sorry..." Aaron/Edward put his arms around her, deepening the kiss. He slowly pulled away, smiling softly. "Thank...you..." He paused for a moment, staring innocently at her. "...One more...?" he whispered softly, leaning in and kissing her lips passionately, keeping his arms around her. - - - "Stop it..." Ricky glared down at her, trying to ignore her tears. "Stop...crying... Stop making me feel like I was the one who did something wrong!" He leaned down closer, staring at her with eyes filled with sadness and pain. "Stop it..." Amy blushed as he kissed her passionately causing her to slowly pull out of the kiss, "E-Edward...you're...being to hard." she said softly. - Karen opened her eyes, "This is the first time, in 16 years...that...you've scared me." she said in a studder. "I-I-I'm...going to cry...you c-can't stop me..." she said softly. "Sorry, Amy..." he whispered, tilting his head down. "I guess I just couldn't control myself... I'm sorry..." He shrugged, deciding that it was too boring to pretend to be Edward. "Sorry...sweetheart" - - - Ricky kept glaring at her. "I don't want to scare you... I just want to make the pain...go away... Please..." He leaned even closer as his glare faded. "Help...me... I don't want to act like that...ever again... I don't want you to make me crazy again... Please..." "Sweetheart?" Amy raised a brow at him. "You sound like your fruitloop-ish brother..." she turned around waving a hand. "Let's go, find a place to stay" - "Ricky..." Karen quietly whispered. "I don't know how..." she tilted her head down. "I don't..." Aaron smirked, fighting the urge to laugh. You're so cute... Clueless little Amy... "You really think my brother is a...fruitloop?" He turned his head away, still trying not to laugh. "Okay..." He gave a deep sigh, turning back to face her. "Hm... A place to stay..." Alone time... Just me...and my clueless little sweetheart... And no stupid little brother to ruin it. - - - Ricky blinked, staring at her with wide eyes. "I...don't know what to do... I don't want to hurt you anymore... I just want to make you happy... Please..." He trembled, closing his eyes, kissing her lips softly. "You know I love you... I don't want to hurt you...but...it hurts...so much...even though it happened so long ago..." "How about...the hotel...down the street?" Amy asked blushing. "I'm sure they have seperate beds.." she said smiling. "Let's go" - Karen's watery eyes closed as she leaned up and kissed him back. "I know you do...I know...I don't...know what to do...but...Amy...she's...ran away." she closed her eyes wincing slightly from the memory as well she had ran out the house with Amy in her arms. "...I don't know.." "But... I don't need a separate bed..." Aaron smirked, taking her hand and walking down the street, pulling her along gently. "Wouldn't you rather...share?" He gave a sly grin, glancing back at her. - - - Ricky looked away. "Yeah, well... You told me she's not a kid anymore..." He stared back at Karen, wishing she would stop making him feel so guilty. "She can take care of herself..." He bent his head down, closing his eyes. "I'm sorry... It's my fault she left..." Amy blinked a few times before laughing and hitting him on the back. "Silly Edward you charmer!" she said laughing cluelessly. "Let's go" - "No...it's not, she's just confused..." Karen said staring at him. "Like you were when you were back then..." she tilted her head down. "It's okay..." Aaron smirked, feeling happier than he had felt in a long time. "...A charmer? Yep... That's me..." He grinned and continued to walk down the street, stopping in front of the hotel. "So...Amy... How about we get a room with one bed" - - - Ricky gave a small, slow nod. "Yeah... Like I was...back then..." he repeated, leaning down and kissing her again. "I'm still sorry..." he whispered, pulling away. "I didn't mean to upset her so much..." "Edward, a room with two beds." Amy said firmly looking over at him with a glare. "...Two bed's." she opened the hotel room door then closed the door as they walked in. Amy let out a sigh then fell back on her bed. "I'm so sleepy" - Karen stared at him then smiled sitting up. "...I know...let's go after her, I know where she is.." Karen said looking away. "The hotel.." "Me too..." Aaron muttered, giving a fake yawn and lying down on his bed, glancing sideways at Amy, waiting until she fell asleep. He stood up, walking over to her bed, sitting down on the edge, checking to make sure she was actually asleep. Once he was convinced, he smiled, lying back down next to her. He hugged her gently, pulling the blankets over both of them. "Good...night..." he whispered softly in her ear. "...clueless little sweetheart" - - - "She's in the hotel?" Ricky blinked, then glared down at the ground. "And she's with that...Edward kid...great..." He sighed, taking her hand. "...Let's go..." Amy groaned and opened her eyes slowly. "Edward...why are you calling me clueless...?" she looked over into his eyes...they looked different. "Edward...?" she whispered staring at him. "You're...not edward" - Karen nodded and floated up phasing threw the ceiling. "East..." she whispered softly flying towards the only hotel in town. "Amy...please, don't do anything you regret.." "Yes I am..." Aaron whispered in a hurt voice. "Why wouldn't I be Edward? Amy... Are you feeling okay?" He gently put a hand to her forehead, leaning down to whisper in her ear. "For someone so clueless...you really are pretty smart, cutie..." He pulled away, resting his elbows on the bed, propping his chin up in his hands. "...So, if I'm not Edward...then who am I?" He smirked at her. "If you guess it right, I'll give you a kiss" - - - Ricky nodded, phasing up through the ceiling with her, flying towards the hotel. "Stupid...Edward kid..." he muttered to himself, landing down in front of the hotel. "How do we know where she is? We can't just look into peoples' rooms..." "...You're, Edward's stupid brother." she said glaring at him backing away from him. "Stay away from me" - Karen closed her eyes. "She's...in...that one." Karen said pointing at room 23. "Come on." she said floating down quietly phasing threw the door. "Don't!" Amy said pushing him away. "You're not Edward...stop it!" "I guess I owe you a kiss now!" Aaron smirked, glancing at the door, seeing Karen and Ricky phase through it. "Oh, look... It's your father, isn't it? Maybe...'Edward' needs to mess up...and make your father hate him even more..." He moved closer to her, grabbing her neck gently with his hands. "No hard feelings, but... Don't you think your daddy would just hate it if he caught Edward 'hurting' you...?" He kept his grip loose so he wouldn't cause her any pain. "...Besides... I'm a much better soul mate that that idiot brother of mine... You'll see... Eventually..." Ricky glared at 'Edward' with his eyes filled with hatred. "Stop...touching...my...daughter, you creep!" He shot an ecto-beam at him, sending Edward crashing into the wall. Groaning in pain, Aaron realized he wasn't inside Edward's body anymore. He turned invisible, watching Ricky hit Edward again with an ecto-beam. Edward opened hiseyes, muttering a faint, "Where am I...?" before he was hit with another blast. Trying not to wince in pain, he glanced over at Amy. "Amy... What's...going on...?" "Dad-Daddy stop it!" Amy cried out staring at Ricky. "He was overshadowed by the one who hurt me in the first place!" "Amy...what are you talking about?" Karen asked stepping beside Ricky. "...His brother is the one that stabbed me..." Amy said looking over at her parents. "Daddy...please, believe me..." Ricky's eyes were concerned and uncertain as he stepped closer to Amy, gently touching her neck. "Are you okay, Amy?" he whispered, glancing at Edward. "Why...did he hurt you? Whoever it was... Why?" Aaron, still invisible, stared down at his hands, smirking. With these powers I can do anything I want to do... I could overshadow Amy...or her father...or my dear little brother again... And the best part is... He grinned, staring at Amy. I got to steal kisses from her...and she kissed me back... Poor clueless little Amy... Edward blinked, feeling dizzy. "A-Amy..." he muttered, closing his eyes, feeling tired. "I don't...feel so...good..." His head tilted to the side as he lost consciousness. Amy leaned up and kissed her dad on the cheek. "I'm...sorry." she said softly looking away, "I...just want you to treat me not like a kid.." she looked over at Edward. "Edward!" she called out frowning, helping him up. "Wake up...please..." Karen stared at Ricky, "...There's something else here, it's right there..." Karen said pointing right at Aaron. Ricky glared at Edward, but said nothing, just looking away. Edward groaned softly, opening his eyes halfway. "Amy... I'm so tired..." He closed his eyes again. "What...happened...? Where...are we?" Aaron smirked at Karen, becoming visible. "You're pretty smart too... Just like your cute little daughter..." He glanced over at Edward and Amy. "Well, I should be going now..." He floated closer to Amy, leaning down to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry... I'll see you again...very soon..." He grinned, phasing through the wall of the hotel. Amy's eyes widened and she looked down covering her head with her hands. "...That creep, keeps following me...what do I do?" Karen looked down at Amy. "...Amy, this happened to me once..." Karen said quietly looking away from Ricky. "And it ended up Ricky killing his cousin..." "What...are you talking about?" Amy asked looking up at Karen with wide eyes, "D-Dad kills people?" "No, Amy..." Ricky shook his head, looking away. "I don't kill people... Not anymore..." He glanced at her, quickly looking away again. "I was..." He shook his head again. "Never mind... You wouldn't understand... I won't hurt you, or anyone else, Amy... Don't be afraid of me...please..." "Amy..." Edward whispered softly, still keeping his eyes closed. "I kill people... I have to... Maybe not anymore...but...I've killed so many people..." He opened his eyes halfway, shivering. "Are you...afraid of me because of that?" Amy looked from Edward to her Dad. "Why...didn't you tell me, daddy?" she asked looking down. "Is that...why I promised myself to...stop crying?" she looked down. "I...have a memory that, mom ran out of Grandmas house...you were yelling at her, but she kept running..." Karen looked at Amy, "Amy, don't...mention that...around your father...he'll..." she looked away from Ricky's stare. "He'll do something he doesn't want to do.." Ricky glared at Amy, remembering the painful memory for the second time that day. "Amy... Stop it... Just...stop it..." He put a hand to his head, closing his eyes. "Stop making it come back..." He trembled slightly as every tiny detail came back to him. He remembered everything he had said exactly, and it was hurting him so much. "I don't own you, okay!?" He pinned her against the wall, still glaring at her. "Now just make it stop!" Edward blinked, unable to move because he felt so weak. "Amy..." he whispered, staring at her as Ricky pinned her against the wall. He tried to stand up and protect her, but his body wouldn't move. "...Amy..." Amy stared at Ricky with wide eyes. "Daddy...w-what are you...doing?" she asked with watery eyes. "Ricky, stop!" Karen said pulling him away from Amy. "Stop it, Ricky!" Ricky pushed Karen away, glaring at her. "Shut up... Don't touch me..." He pinned Amy back against the wall again, creating an ectoplasmic knife. "Don't...make me hurt you... Just...make it stop..." He held the knife against her neck. "Make it stop now..." "Amy..." Edward's eyes widened as he staggered to his feet, off-balance. "Stop it... Don't hurt her!" He couldn't see straight, but he managed to push Ricky away from her. "Don't touch me, kid..." Ricky hissed, throwing the knife at Edward, stabbing him in the arm. Edward blinked, unable to stand up anymore. He fell to the ground, staring up at them with despair in his eyes. "Amy..." he whispered, feeling his blood drip down his arm. "...Amy..." "D-Daddy..." Amy whispered with fear in her eyes, "Don't hurt me...please..." she felt the knife against her neck. "Daddy...just come back, please..." Karen quickly thought as Edward pushed him away, she jumped ontop of him. "Amy, get out of here!" she said as she pinned Ricky to the ground. "Hurry!" Amy nodded and quickly ran over to Edward and bent down to him, "Edward, it'll...be okay." she said with teary eyes. "I'll heal you..." she made her hand glow red. "...It's okay." "Get away from me..." Ricky hissed, trying to push Karen away. "Stop...touching me... Stop...hurting...me..." He formed an ecto-beam in his hand, blasting her away from him. Edward's eyes widened as she started to heal him. "Amy... Just...go... Just get out of here..." He watched as Ricky stood up, glaring at Amy. "Amy... Run... Just...go...please... I don't want him to hurt you..." "..No, I won't..." Amy said hearing a bam, seeing her mom had hit a mirror and was unconscious. "Mom...dad, you hurt mom!" Amy said stepping towards Ricky with sad eyes. "Dad..." she whispered softly timidly putting her arm's around him. "I'm sorry..." Ricky shivered, closing his eyes. "Amy... Just make it stop hurting..." he kept whispering, putting his arms around her. "I didn't mean to hurt her... I didn't... I'm sorry..." He squeezed her tightly. "I'm...sorry... Make that memory...go away...please... Help me..." Edward felt a lot stronger since Amy had healed him, so he stood up, running over to Karen. He put one hand on her shoulder, giving her a gentle shake, hoping she was okay. He watched Ricky and Amy carefully incase Ricky snapped again, since he knew he'd be strong to help her this time. "Are you...okay...?" he murmured softly, shaking her again. Amy closed her eyes. "I'm trying..." she whispered softly hugging him tightly. "Daddy, just push it away...that memory.." she said hugging him tightly. "It's okay..." Karen moaned quietly, "Edward...yes, I-I'm okay..." she said softly sitting up clentching her head, the glass had opened cuts all over her body and she was bleeding from the head. "...He snaps...sometimes, this is the first time in 16 years he's completely snaped.." Ricky hugged Amy tightly, still watching the memory replay itself in his mind. "Amy... What's wrong with me? Why do I always hurt people I love?" He hugged her tighter, squeezing his eyes shut. "Back then...in that memory...it was so easy...to stab her... Why...was it so easy?" Edward glanced back at Amy and Ricky. "...He...snaps?" He nodded, turning back to Karen. "I know what that is..." he whispered in a soft voice. "That's how my mother was before she died." He glanced back at Ricky. "Please don't hurt her..." he whispered softly. "Please..." Amy closed her eyes making her hand glow a calm red. "Daddy...go to sleep..' she said hugging him tightly while putting her hands against his back. "Just go to sleep..." Karen looked over at Edward and timibly put her arms around him giving him an awkward hug. "I'm sorry...you had to see this side of him..." she winced and closed her eyes slipping into unconsciousness. "Amy... Thank you..." Ricky let out a soft sigh, closing his eyes and losing consciousness. "It's...okay..." Edward glanced at Ricky, who was now unconscious. He gently pulled Karen's arms away and ran over to Amy. "Amy...are you okay?" His voice was soft and concerned. "Are you hurt?" Amy didn't answer him she slowly stood up glancing at her parents for a second before turning around to him looking at the bed and slowly pushed him down as she threw her shirt away. "I'm okay...but you owe me..." she said in a different voice leaning down to him pressing her chest against his. "You owe me big time..." Edward shivered, staring at her with wide eyes. "Amy..." he whispered, feeling confused. "Why...are you...?" He blushed, looking away as she pressed her chest against his. He glanced sideways, seeing her shirt on the ground. "I... I thought..." He looked back at her, shivering again. "...Amy..." "Sorry Edward..." Amy whispered sexy like undoing her bra and tossing it away. "...I can't wait, not anymore." she leaned down again pinning his arms down while kissing him passionately on the lips. "Sorry if this hurts..." her hand had traveled down to his private place as she squeezed her hand closed. Edward let out a gasp as his eyes widened even more. "Amy..." he whispered, closing his eyes, blushing bright red. "It... It doesn't...hurt... It..." He opened his eyes, not even trying to hold back his emotions anymore. "...It feels..." He leaned up closer to her. "...good..." He kissed softly kissed her lips, still shivering. Amy kissed him softly at first before kissing him passionately. "Oh really?" she asked squeezing him hand again. "What are you going to do?" she asked whispering in his ear. "Are you going to...punish me?" Edward gasped again, closing his eyes. "I..." He opened his eyes, breathing heavily. "If...that's what you want...then...yes..." He kissed her again, slowly pulling away. "...I guess...I will...punish you..." He let one hand go to her chest, and he blushed, realizing she had taken her bra off. "Amy..." He squeezed his hand, kissing her passionately at the same time. Amy moaned softly as he squeezed his hand while kissing her passionately at the same time, slowly pulling out of the kiss she stared at him. "I love...you.." she whispered kissing him passionately again. Edward squeezed his hand again, trailing his other hand gently down her chest and stomach. He slowly pulled out of the kiss, whispering, "I love you too...Amy..." He kissed her softly as he moved his hand even lower. Ricky slowly opened his eyes, silently sitting up and looking around. He saw Karen unconscious and injured, which made him flinch and look away. He looked up again, spotting Edward and Amy. He shot a glare at Edward. Seeing him touching and kissing her made his blood boil, but he kept his mouth shut, looking away. That...little creep... But...she can make her own decisions now, right? She's...not a kid anymore... When we were her age...we were doing this too... Ricky let out a silent sigh, turning invisible, still looking away. I can't do anything... Amy will tell me she hates me...again... He floated silently over to Karen, picking her up and phasing down through the floor into another empty room. "I'm sorry..." he whispered softly, putting her down on the bed. I'll just...yell at that Edward kid later... I just...can't interrupt them now... I can't... She really will hate me... Then...what am I supposed to do? He glanced over at Karen. Karen...would know what to do... I'm such an idiot... Amy blushed and quietly moaned again. "Edward..." she said silently gulping sitting up and looking down. "...I don't know, what came over me." she said softly covering her chest with a blanket. "I feel like I forced myself onto you.." Down right under neath them Karen silently groaned looking up at him with half open eyes. "R-Ricky...are you...okay?" she asked as the blood continued to go down her head. "...What about...Amy? Edward?" she winced in pain, all the cuts were open and bleeding. "...It hurts." Edward slowly reached out, grabbing the blanket and pulling it away. "It's okay...Amy..." he whispered, touching her chest again, staring into her eyes with his head tilted slightly to the side. "It's...okay... I..." He gently squeezed his hand. "...I liked it" - - - "They're...fine..." Ricky muttered, looking away. "Here, let me help you..." His hand glowed faintly as he touched each cut, closing up the wounds. "I'm sorry... I did this to you... I haven't done this...in such a long time..." He put a hand to his head, closing his eyes. "Karen... I can still see it... It...hurts... I didn't mean to hurt you... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." Amy blushed and closed her eyes moaning again as he squeezed his hand. "...Edward, okay...i-it's okay..." she softly repeating him keeping her eyes closed. "...You can still...d-do what you want" - Karen slowly hugged him softly. "It's okay...I know how it is, when you snap..." she squeezed his shirt softly. "You're not yourself...when you're like that." she slowly pulled out of the hug, her shirt was messed up giving away her breast clevage as she looked down. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help you.." Edward looked away, nodding. "...Okay..." He shivered, putting his other hand on her chest. "You...can still do what you want too..." He blushed and squeezed his hands, kissing her lips softly at the same time. - - - Ricky looked away. "It's... It's okay... There's nothing to be sorry for... It's my fault..." He glanced quickly at her, slowly reaching out, touching her chest. "Your...shirt is messed up..." he murmured softly, gently squeezing his hand, looking away. Amy moaned quietly as in the kiss as she squeezed her hand again, slowly pulling out of the hug she blushed. "...Let's...go to sleep..." she said softly pulling on his shirt as she took off her skirt then underwear, slipping under the blanket blushing blood red. - Karen quietly moaned a he squeezed his hand causing her to blush. "L-Let me fix it..." she said reaching up to fix her shirt. Edward hesitated, blushing bright red. "...Okay..." Looking away, he pulled off his shirt, along with the empty quiver that used to hold his arrows. Reaching down, he took off his pants, followed by his boxers. He pulled the blanket over himself, staring silently at Amy. "Goodnight...Amy..." he whispered softly, moving closer to her and putting his arms around her. - - - Ricky shook his head, gently grabbing her hand before she could fix her shirt. "I...owe you, Karen..." he whispered, pinning her down on her back. He leaned closer, whispering, "I'm sorry..." before kissing her passionately, squeezing his hand again. Amy's eyes became sleepy and slowly fell asleep in his arms. "Good night...Edward" - Karen stared at Ricky as he kissed her neck passionately. Shivering she closed her eyes moaning softly again as he squeezed his hand again. "...You...don't owe me anything.." she said softly as he still passionately kissed her neck causing a chill to go threw out her body. Edward gave a soft smile, hugging her tightly. "Aww... How sweet..." Aaron phased through the wall, glaring down at Edward. "Lucky little brat... Why does she like him anyway?" He smirked, looking away. "Well, with these powers...I can just take over his body... It would be so easy..." He sighed, staring down at Amy. "But she's always so upset whenever I'm around..." He glanced down at his reflection in the shattered fragments of the mirror on the floor. "I mean, how can someone not like me?" He landed softly on the ground, walking over to the bed. "As long as I don't mess up again...she'll never find out... But...why do I feel like I'll be doing something wrong!? Idiot..." He shook his head. "Idiot... Regret...is a stupid emotion..." He overshadowed Edward, smiling softly as he hugged Amy tightly. "This is...much...better..." He gave a small smirk. "Poor Amy... Sometimes...I can be a bit of a...pervert" - - - "I owe you an apology..." Ricky whispered, pulling on her shirt. "I want to say...I'm sorry..." He pulled on her shirt again, smiling slightly. "Actions speak louder than words, right?" He leaned closer, whispering in her ear. "Do you want me to take this off for you?" He gave another tug on her shirt. Karen blushed and shivered with wide eyes. "S-Sure..." she stampered as he tugged on her shirt. "...You don't...have to show in actions...you know that right?" Aaron smirked, pulling one arm out of the hug, gently touching Amy's chest. "I...don't have to regret anything..." he whispered to himself, squeezing his hand. "There's...nothing...to regret... She won't be upset...if she never finds out...right...?" He yawned, closing his eyes. "Good...night...Amy" - - - "I know..." Ricky smiled, pulling off her shirt. "I...want to show in actions..." He softly kissed her lips, trailing a kiss down o her neck, pinning her gently to the bed with one hand. Amy smiled softly. "I love you...Edward.." she said as she snuggled up closer to him. - Karen closed her eyes as he kissed her lips and then trailed it down. "Ricky..." she said softly timidly moving her hand down to his private area and then squeezing her hand shut. "Thank you.." Aaron blushed lightly, looking away. "I... I love you too, Amy..." he whispered, hugging her with one arm and keeping his other hand on her chest, gently squeezing his hand. - - - Ricky opened his mouth to speak, but gave a soft moan as Karen squeezed her hand. "K-Karen..." he whispered softly, closing his eyes. "I love you..." he muttered, kissing her neck again, trailing another kiss down so it was barely above her chest. He grabbed her bra with one hand, pulling it off and trailing another kiss down to her chest. Karen looked down at Ricky with a red face leaning her head back smiling slightly. "...I love you too...Ricky." she said squeezing her hand again. "Karen..." Ricky moaned again, squeezing his hand on her chest, trailing his other hand down her stomach to her private area. "Are you...feeling...naughty?" he whispered, kissing her lips passionately. "I-I am if you are..." she said softly moaning as he squeezed his hand. "Ricky...what are you going to do?" she asked whispering into his ear. "Are you going to punish me?" "Well..." Ricky squeezed his hands shut, kissing her lips softly. "If you keep being...naughty...then I guess I will have to...punish you..." He kissed her again, trailing his tongue down her neck. "Naughty...Karen..." Karen moaned and closed her eyes blushing blood red. "...Naughty...R-Ricky." she said in a whisper closing her eyes as he licked her. "...Wait..." she said softly. "...I'm worried..." "You're...worried?" Ricky pulled away from her neck, staring at her with sadness in his eyes. "What can you possibly be worried about?" He glared at her. "You're not...afraid I'm going to hurt you...are you?" His voice was soft and cold. "Is that why you're worried?" "N-No.." Karen said in a half truthful voice. "I-I'm worried about...um, Amy...?" she said looking away. "I'm not...not scared if you're going to hurt me.." she closed her eyes. "W-What gave you that idea?" "You're lying..." Ricky hissed softly, glaring at her. "Why can't you just...stop worrying?" He pinned her arms down so she couldn't push him away. "You are afraid of me, aren't you? It's because I haven't snapped in such a long time, isn't it?" He pushed her harder down against the bed. "Isn't it!? Just tell me the truth!" Karen closed her eyes and then looked away whispering quietly, "Y-Yes...I'm sorry...can you un-pin me please?" Ricky shook his head, pushing her down harder in response to her question. "You just had to start it all...when you brought that memory back... And...when I tried to say sorry... When I tried to show you I was sorry..." He glared at her. "You just had to...ruin it all...like always..." "I don't always ruin it, stop blaming me!" Karen said looking up at his glare. "Stop blaming me for your hurting, stop blaming me for everything. Now let me go!" "No!" Ricky shouted back at her. "I have to blame someone, otherwise I'll take it out on myself!" He trembled slightly, staring down at her. "I need someone to blame...or I'll do something crazy...like killing myself..." He bent his head down, looking away. "It hurts...so much..." He lifted his head, glaring at her again. "So I'm not letting you go!" Karen stared at him shaking her head. "So you're taking out all your pain on me, making me suffer!?" she closed her eyes. "Stop acting like a jerk Ricky!" she blurted out staring away from him. "You have no idea...what it's like seeing you blame me for every little thing...What it feels like to see your daughter get pinned by her own father." she glared away. "You hurt me and Amy because you can't keep yourself contained!" "Do you think it doesn't hurt me, whenever I pin either of you!?" Ricky glared at her, trembling again. "It's killing me! I just want it to stop..." He looked away, loosening his grip on her arms but still pinning her. "I don't want to kill myself...but if I keep hurting you two...what am I supposed to do? I'm afraid of death...but...if it'll just make the pain go away... Your pain too... And Amy's pain..." His voice faded away. "If it'll make all the hurting stop...isn't it the right thing to do?" Karen stared at Ricky and shook her head. "No...don't-talk like that, please." she tilted her head down. "I...I don't want you to hurt." she looked away. "...I'll take up everything that's hurting you.." she said looking up at him sadly. "I promise I'll protect you.." "No... Stop it..." Ricky looked away. "Stop talking... I'm hurting both of you so much...which is hurting me so much..." He pushed her down harder, letting go of her arms after glaring at her for a second. "Maybe I was better off the way I used to be...before I met you..." He turned away from her. "Maybe...that's how I should act... Maybe I should just...not care..." "What..." Karen sat up and covered her chest. "Ricky, what...are you talking about?" she asked staring at him. "Not caring?" she looked down and away. "That's not...the answer.." "I told you to stop talking!" Ricky glared back at her, turning away so his back was to her. "Just leave me alone... Don't try to make me care about you, or Amy, or anything you're trying to say to me." He glared at the wall, feeling lost and confused, now knowing how to act. "Not caring...is what made my pain go away before... I guess you helped a little...back then...but now..." He shook his head. "...Now you're just...hurting me even more... What other answer is there? I'm hanging onto the edge of sanity..." His voice was soft and cold. "So...I just don't care anymore." "No, Ricky!" Karen said with a pleading eye. "You're saying...you don't care for me or Amy anymore, that's just...Heartless.." "Heartless..." Ricky hissed softly, not looking at her. "I lived that way for so long...and I was just fine... Then you came along and helped me tear up my life..." His voice got even softer. "Maybe heartless...is what I want to be... Maybe...it'll take away the pain...all of it... And maybe...I'll be able to hang onto my sanity... Maybe..." "...No." Karen spoke softly putting her arms around him timidly. "Even if you try and push me away, I won't let go." she said squeezing him tightly. "So, it's all my fault...that you're like this?" she closed her eyes. "That's...not true.." "Maybe it's my fault..." Ricky whispered, not even trying to push her away. "But maybe...believing that someone else did this to me... Maybe that takes away my pain...at least for a second... It makes me forget how much I've ruined the lives of everyone I know..." He stared at the wall, still not moving. "Why do I always act this way? If you'd just let me be cold...and heartless...maybe it would all just stop..." He looked down at his trembling hands. "Either that...or you have to let me kill myself...please... Or...you could stop living in fear of me all the time...and just trust me...for once... Which one would you prefer?" "I do trust you...you have no idea how much." Karen said in to him closing her eyes. "If I didn't trust you...do you think I would have had Amy, or slept with you...or married you." she looked down. "I told you, on that day so many years ago when you slap, I don't trust you...and you said it was okay...just if I wouldn't leave you..." Ricky felt his eyes fill up with tears, but he kept his back to her, not letting her see his face. "Then...why...are you always so afraid?" His voice shook slightly. "Whenever you're afraid of me... That's what makes me snap... It makes me feel like...I've hurt you so many times...that you being afraid is just..." His voice faded off into a whisper. "...automatic..." "Sometimes...you're to hard on me, like...that time when you found out about your dad and you...slaped me." Karen closed her eyes shivering. "Or when you were trying to do that with me...and I was scared of having a baby.." "Yeah, well..." Ricky closed his eyes, which made the tears trickle down his cheeks. "You're...too soft... You were always so afraid of everything... Back then...whenever I snapped...the way you looked at me..." He shivered, opening his eyes, trying to blink back more tears. "It hurt me so badly...every time... All the pain...from all those memories... It just makes me want to die..." "Ricky...it was my instenct to be scared..." Karen said looking down. "I'm more soft from back then, much more soft...I'm sorry...I made you remember Caleb." she said softly. "I'm so sorry.." "Don't...say his name..." Ricky hissed, glaring down at the bed sheets. "Don't remind me of any of that! You constantly say you're sorry, and then you just bring back more memories!" He turned his head slightly, glaring at her even though he knew the tears had left visible wet streaks down his face. "Every...time...I try to make the pain go away...you just bring it back..." Karen winced and let go of him with wide eyes looking away. "I don't- I didn't...mean to." she looked down at her covered chest. "Really, I don't mean to...ever...I'm sorry." "No...you never mean to do anything..." Ricky turned around, slapping her across the face before he could stop himself. "Well, neither do I!" He stared in horror down at the hand he had used to slap her. "But still...you're always...hurting me..." He glared at her, pushing her backwards against the back of the bed. "So...I should be able to hurt you too..." He grabbed her chest, roughly twisting it, still glaring at her. "Sorry..." he whispered mockingly as his eyes glowed red. "...I didn't mean to hurt you..." Karen let out a scream of pain as he twisted it, her face still stinging. "...Ricky, I didn't- I really didn't mean to!" she said staring at him with helpless eyes. "I- didn't!" her chest was red and slightly purple, her cheek was red and bruised. "I didn't, don't...don't.." "Yeah, and neither did I!" Ricky's eyes softened as he stared at her, but he quickly looked away. "Stop...hurting... Stop looking at me like that..." He slowly pulled his hand away, staring silently at her chest. "Why do I always hurt you so much? I really...don't mean to... I don't..." He stared down at the hand he had slapped her with. "Then...why...does this always happen?" He slowly reached out, gently stroking her bruised cheek. His hand trembled, as if he was deciding whether or not to slap her again. "...Karen..." "It's my fault...I make you crazy..." Karen said staring at him with soft eyes. "I'm...not running away, or backing away from you...I'll never..." she looked away from him, "I'm going to save you from your depression.." "Stop it..." Ricky hissed, trembling as he pushed her away. "I'm not supposed to care! Not caring is what's going to save me from my depression!" He lowered his voice, glaring at her. "There's...nothing you can do...except hurt me more...so why do you even try to help?" Karen stared at him then slapped him across the face. "You idiot, listen to yourself!" she pushed him against the wall. "...Why do I help you, I made an oath...when we got married, to always help you, even if you always hurt me!" Ricky blinked as she pushed him against the wall, feeling his face stinging. He looked away, not saying anything for a moment. "I hate this..." he murmured softly, not looking up. "I hate having this pain... And it's only here because I hurt you... And I only hurt you because you're... You're..." He clenched his fists, looking away. "Because...you make me crazy..." Karen looked down then up at him, "It's your own fault...it's the side effect of your curse...when you got rid of it...it just came out.." she said looking at him with a soft eye still. "I always made you crazy, I'm sorry.." "Stop...saying you're sorry..." Ricky whispered, gently touching her cheek where he had slapped her. "I just wish...the pain would go away..." His hand glowed faintly and the bruise faded away. "...Just like that..." Karen lifted up her hand and healed his cheek as well. "It...will, once you're 'snapping' problem goes away..." she looked down. "It will...one day...I hope soon." she looked up at him. "I promise, even if you...hurt me, I won't...ever dis-trust you." she stepped back rubbing her chest wincing slightly stepping back again. "...But, I'm sorry." "That's...sweet." Ricky gave a small smirk, grabbing her arm and pulling her towards him, pinning her against the wall. "But you still can't make me care about you... I'm not going to care...until I'm either sane...or dead..." He pinned her with one arm and made his other hand glow, touching her chest, healing it. "Still...that doesn't mean I can't have fun with you..." He squeezed his hand, smirking slightly. "...Right?" Karen moaned quietly staring at him speechless. "Ricky, you...don't care- about me?" she asked as he pinned her again. "But why, I thought...you...did care." she looked away and down. "You can't have fun with me...not if you don't care about me.." "I can't care about you because it hurts too much..." Ricky squeezed his hand again, leaning closer to her. "And you shouldn't tell me what I can and can't do...because I'm not the one pinned against the wall..." He lowered his voice, leaning to whisper in her ear. "Karen..." He squeezed his hand again, smirking. "I'm going to rape you..." Karen's eyes widened as small beads of sweat went down her face. "No..." she whispered in horror, then moaned again looking away with a red face. "Don't...please...don't." "You can't make me feel guilty..." Ricky smirked, moving his hand down from her chest. He grabbed her pants, pulling down gently. "...Because I don't care anymore..." He pulled harder. "Do you want to take these off...or do I have to do it for you?" Karen didn't answer she closed her eyes as he grabbed her pants. "Let me go, stop touching me!" she tried pushing him away. "You don't care, if you'll acedently get me pregenet!?" she asked glaring up at him, "Let me go, Ricky!" "No, I don't care anymore!" Ricky gave sharp tug on her pants, pulling them off. "Maybe I used to care, but it made me snap...it made me hurt you...and it hurt me too... Caring doesn't help at all... It's always better to not care..." He grabbed her underwear, pulling them down. "I can have my fun even if I don't care..." He trailed his hand down her stomach, smirking. "There's nothing you can do to stop me..." He touched her private place, whispering in her ear, "Nothing..." Karen closed her eyes. "He's right...I can't run away, I can't hurt him, I can't...fight him...all I can do, is...stand here..." she trembled as he touched her private place her hands were shaking as he whispered in her ear. "...So you wouldn't care...if I just killed myself, so you couldn't rape me..." "That's a stupid thing to say..." Ricky murmured as he took off his pants. "I won't let you kill yourself...but that doesn't mean I care... I just want my fun...that's all..." He smirked. "You're trembling..." he whispered as he pulled off his boxers, pulling her away from the wall and pushing her down onto the bed. "Karen... What's the matter? Are you scared?" He got on top of her, smirking. "It's okay... You don't have to be scared... I won't hurt you..." Karen's eyes widened and she stared at him. "You can't just use me..." she said staring at him. "I'm not...scared of you." she looked away. "I don't...want you...to suffer." she said shivering as he got ontop of her. "...You're...rapeing me...don't...not anymore...don't act like someone who's heartless, this isn't you!" "It was me...before you came along..." Ricky pressed himself against her, whispering in her ear. "And I can use you now... As long as I just stop caring...I won't feel guilty..." He put one hand on her chest. "Now stop talking to me... Stop trying to make me feel bad..." He roughly squeezed his hand. "Don't try to talk me out of this..." Karen winced and closed her eyes as he squeezed his hand and pressed himself against her. "You're wrong...you're just wrong..." she whispered keeping her eyes closed moaning silently. "You were never heartless, not enough...to hurt your brother, or mother..." she kept her eyes closed. "...I love you so much, so I-I won't...stop you..." "What?" Ricky blinked, pulling his hand away from her chest. "You're...not going to stop me?" He shivered, looking away. "Stop...trying to make me feel bad..." he whispered. "Stop it... I don't care... I don't..." He glared at her. "Whatever you say, I don't care! I am heartless, and I was heartless! I'll always be heartless, so don't try to change my mind!" He closed his eyes, tilting his head down. He knew he really did care about her, but he refused to admit it. "Stop it... "What do you expect me to do!? Karen asked staring up at him, "Do you want me to be afriad of you, because I'm trying so hard...so hard not to be afriad!" she said shivering. "You have no idea!" Ricky looked away, regretting everything he had just done. "I always tried to hard...not to hurt you... And it all led up to this... Me becoming cold and heartless...because you... You just..." He glared at her because he couldn't think of any real reason. "You... You always... You always drive me insane! You pushed it too far one time too many... And this is what happened..." He raised his voice, shouting at her. "And I was trying to say I was sorry! You... You ruin everything..." "No, don't pin the blame on me!" Karen shouted back at him. "Stop regretting everything, you're not heartless...if you where heartless...you would just let Edward steal Amy away...but you didn't!" she stared at him, "You're her father, you protected her...I don't get a damn if you hurt me!" she closed her eyes. "I don't care!" "Fine... I won't regret anything..." Ricky whispered softly, pushing himself against her harder. "...Which means I won't regret this... Besides..." He leaned closer to her, whispering into her ear. "You told me I could do it... You said you wouldn't stop me... There's nothing wrong with it, since you're letting me do it, right?" Karen's eyes widened and stared at him, "...Ricky.." she whispered frightly, then everything blacked out. - Ricky blinked, opening his eyes. He glanced sideways, seeing Karen beside him on the bed. "H-hey..." he muttered, sitting up, realizing he wasn't wearing any pants. "Oh...jeez... What...?" He smacked a hand to his face, remembering last night. "Idiot..." he whispered to himself. "I'm...such an idiot... What if she's pregnant? Then it's my fault..." He glanced back at her. "I'm...so sorry... I'm...such...an...idiot..." Karen winced and grabbed her stomach, "It hurts..." she said in her sleep. "My...stomach..." she had teary eyes. "...It hurts so much." she whispered slowly opening her eyes, as they widened she stared at him. "...You...you...got me..." she trembled and hugged her stomach. "...pregnant.." "N-no..." Ricky whispered, staring at her with wide eyes. "I didn't... Please...no... I... No, I didn't... Karen..." He pulled her into a hug, squeezing her tightly as his voice cracked. "I didn't... You're... You're not... I..." He closed his eyes, hugging her tighter. "N-no... I'm...so sorry..." Karen closed her eyes and rested her head onto his shoulder still trembling hugging her stomach. "You did...it hurts...so much...my stomach..." she winced and opened her eyes. "...It's...going to come...today...just like Amy." she closed her eyes shivering. "Just like her.." she winced again. "Ricky...you're going..to have to...get him out." she said with beads of sweatgoing down her face. "You're...going to have to help me.." Ricky's eyes widened. "Get him out!? How am I...supposed to... I mean... Aw, jeez, Karen..." He gently pulled away, staring sadly at her. "I'm so sorry... I'll...do my best...but...you know what happened with Amy..." He closed his eyes, looking away. "I...panicked..." He reached out, gently touching her stomach. "But this time... I promise... I'll...do my best... I...promised..." Karen winced again and closed her eyes leaning back. "He'll...he'll be here soon..." she said squeezing the bed sheets. "Ricky...please...don't blame yourself." she said looking down timidly taking his hand. "I'm sorry...I didn't stop you." she let out a gasp of pain squeezing his hand at the same time. "He's...comming...help Ricky..." Ricky looked away, squeezing her hand tightly. "Karen... It's... It'll be okay..." He closed his eyes, trying to remember how his mother had helped Karen years ago. "Just... Just...uh..." He stared at her, squeezing her hand again. "Just...please be okay... Just relax, Karen... You're okay... Everything's fine..." He didn't even know what he was saying, but he just kept murmuring soothingly in her ear. Karen squeezed his hand again. "Cut...cut me open, Ricky!" she said breathing deeply. "Hurry...please...make it stop.." she squeezed her hand shut shivering. "Hurry.." "C-cut?" Ricky whispered, staring at her with horror in his eyes. "Cut you open!? W-won't that kill you!? Are you insane!?" He formed a knife in his hand, staring terrified at it. Ricky... Calm down... She knows better than you... After all...she's a girl... Just trust her and everything should be okay... He brought the knife down, wincing as he started to make the cut. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." he kept whispering. He couldn't look away even though he was feeling sick. "I'm...sorry..." "This is...how...the doctors take out babies." Karen said breathing deeply. "This is...the only way...to get him...out." she stared at him with tired eyes. "...Becareful." she closed her eyes and tilted her head to the side. "Yeah, but..." Ricky whispered, continuing to cut her open, flinching several times along the way. "...I'm not...a doctor... Karen..." he murmured softly. "I'm so sorry... E-Ew..." he whispered, pulling out the baby, closing his eyes and looking away. "This is all...my fault... I'm so sorry..." Ricky hugged him gently, holding him with one arm. He reached down to Karen's stomach, putting a glowing hand onto it, slowly closing up the cut. "I'm sorry..." he whispered to the baby, looking away. "But I promise...I won't...treat you like a...mistake... I'll love you just as much as I love Amy..." He closed his eyes, reaching out with his other arm and grabbing Karen's hand. "I'm...sorry..." After a short while Karen slowly opened her eyes. "Ricky...is...is he okay...are you okay?" Ricky nodded, still hugging the baby. "He's... He's fine... He's okay..." He pulled her close to him with his other arm, closing his eyes. "I'm so sorry, Karen..." He lowered his voice, whispering softly in her ear. "What are you...going to name him?" Karen looked at him and then down at the little boy. "I want to name him..Aram..." she said softly. "...I read a book once, with that name, let's name him, Aram.." she said softly looking down into his maroon eyes. "He has...your eyes.." Aram blinked up at his with wide maroon eyes, reaching out with his stubby little arms. "Mamo!" "Aram..." Ricky gave a tired smile. "Y-yeah..." he muttered softly, holding Aram out to Karen. "You can...hold him...if you want..." he muttered, closing his eyes and falling backwards onto a pillow. "I'm...so tired..." Karen looked down at Aram. "Hey...Aram.." she said smiling softly leaning back. "I'm...so...tired." she said hugging him lightly. "...I love you, Aram..." she said softly closing her eyes. "Ricky, good night.." "Mamo!" Aram squealed happily, hugging her as far as his little arms could go. "Wuff joo!" He turned his head, staring at Ricky. He smiled, stretching his arms out. "Baha! Wuff joo!" Ricky smiled, waving to Aram. "Love you...too..." he murmured, closing his eyes, starting to doze off. He was awakened a few minutes later by a loud crash across the room. "Baha!" Aram shrieked, holding up a glowing red hand. "Baha, looki!" He giggled, pointing at the mirror across the room that had several cracks and pieces missing. "Baha, looki, looki!" He stared down at the red energy in his hand. "Mamo! Mamo! Looki!" Karen was woken up as she looked down at Aram's hand. "You...you've got ghost powers..." she smiled and hugged him back. "I love you too..." she said looking at him half smiling. "Can I sleep, now?" Aram made a sad pouty face, staring up at Karen. "Mamo... Nuuu..." His hand stopped glowing as he squeezed her shirt tightly. "Mamo..." "Aram..." Ricky muttered tiredly. "Mommy just wants to go to slee--" "Baka!" Aram waved his arms excitedly. "Baka, I wann play!" Ricky sighed, closing his eyes. "Aram... It's not baka..." "Baka!" Aram squealed. "Baka, wuff joo!" Ricky sighed again, putting a hand over his face. "Just...let us go to sleep, Aram... Please..." "B-Baka... Baka, I wann..." Aram yawned, closing his eyes, leaning his head against Karen's chest. "Baka, Mamo, wuff joo..." Karen slowly woke up after a while, staring down at Aram with calm eyes...but then flashes from last night poped in her head causing her to gasp and hug Aram tightly. "I won't...remember that." she said softly closing her eyes. "...It's to painful to.." Aram slowly opened his eyes, staring up at her. "Mamo...hurt?" he asked softly, squeezing her shirt tightly. "Mamo..." Ricky gave a light snore, turning over in his sleep. Aram let out a soft giggle. "Baka..." he murmured, reaching out to him with one hand, holding onto Karen's shirt with the other. "Baka!" He pulled back his outstretched hand, clinging onto her shirt again. He turned back to Karen. "Mamo...okie?" Karen looked down at him, "I can't...show any pain in front of him." she thought putting on a smile. "I'm...okay.." she said softly to him hugging him before turning over and placing him next to her. "Are you..hungry?" Aram smiled, stretching out one arm to her. "Yesh, Mamo!" He giggled as Ricky snored again. "Baka..." His smile faded as he saw a look of pain on Ricky's face as he slept. "Mamo... Mamo, Baka...not okie?" Karen looked down at him sitting up slowly putting him in front of her chest. "...I'm...we're okay." she said softly closing her eyes. "Now...go ahead and eat..." she said looking over at Ricky then down at Aram. "Okie, Mamo!" Aram smiled, gently holding onto her arm. Ricky sat up, blinking. He stared sadly at Karen and Aram, looking away. "Hey...Karen..." He hesitated, still looking away. "Uh... Shouldn't we...go tell Amy...about her new little brother...soon?" "Baka!" Aram pulled his head away from her chest, smiling at him. "Baka, Baka! Whatsa Amy? Mamo! Whatsa Amy?" Karen looked down at Aram still. "We'll...tell her...later." she said softly hugging Aram softly. "Not right now..not..." she gasped getting even more flashes threw her head she trembled and looked away. "Mamo!" Aram cried, clinging tightly to her. "Mamo, not okie..." He turned around with tears in his eyes. "Baka! Baka...Mamo... Mamo ish..." Ricky moved close to her, timidly putting his arms around her. "Karen... I'm so sorry..." Karen trembled and put her head against his shoulder. "I still feel it...it hurts..." she said with teary eyes. "...It hurts so much..." she hugged Ricky as she placed Aram down. Aram blinked, staring up at them. "Mamo... Baka... Hurt...?" Ricky hugged her tighter, shivering as Aram grabbed onto his shirt sleeve, squeezing it tightly. "I'm sorry... I... I didn't mean to... I... I didn't know... I didn't... I didn't want... I... I'm so sorry..." "Baka, Mamo..." Aram whispered softly, clinging to Ricky's arm. "Baka hurta Mamo?" Ricky just shivered, squeezing her tighter. "I'm...sorry..." Karen didn't know what to say so she just put her head down onto his shoulder. "...Just, don't...ever...don't ever rape me again, please..." she said squeezing his shirt. "Please.." Ricky shook his head, closing his eyes. "I won't... I promise I won't... I don't know what happened..." He gently stroked her hair, trembling slightly. "I... I didn't mean to... I was trying to stop myself... I... I just..." He shook his head again. "I promise... Never again..." Aram tilted his head to the side, letting go of Ricky's sleeve. "Mamo? Whatsa rape? Baka... Baka hasa rape?" He tilted his head more, blinking up at her with his innocent maroon eyes. "Whassat?" Karen looked away from Arams eyes. "It's...nothing..." she said in a trembling voice pulling away from Ricky and picking up Aram squeezing him tightly. "...I love you, so much..." she said softly hugging him still tightly. Aram put his arms around her, staring past her at Ricky. "Baka..." he whispered, tilting his head sideways, staring at him with confused eyes. "Aram..." Ricky looked away, staring down. "I... I...messed up... I did something bad..." He lowered his voice, looking over at Aram with a look in his eyes pleading for forgiveness. "Very...bad... That's all..." He stared at Aram and Karen, and he felt alone for some reason. "I'm... I'm so sorry..." Karen turned around to Ricky and kissed him on the lips passionately. "...Don't...talk about it.." she said kissing him again. "...Don't.." she pushed him down onto the bed and laid down ontop of him with Aram right next to him. "Don't..." Aram blinked, watching them carefully with wide eyes. "...Okay... I... I won't..." Ricky whispered, kissing her passionately, slowly putting his arms around her. He pulled away, looking down. "I'm sorry... I just wish...there was some way to make it up to you..." He stared back at her, gently grabbing her shirt sleeve, leaning up to kiss her again. Aram, seeing his father pulling on Karen's shirt, imitated him, pulling on her other sleeve. "Mamo!" he squealed gleefully, clutching her shirt sleeve tightly. "Baka!" Karen pulled out of the kiss looking down at Aram seeing him imitate Ricky, made her hug him softly. "...You look tired Aram.." she said softly kissing his head. "Go...to sleep." she said looking back over at Ricky, kissing him passionately again. "...You can make it up to me...right now.." "Mamo..." Aram whispered as his eyes closed. "Baka..." He gave a tiny yawn, curling up into a little ball. "I...wuff..." His voice trailed off as he fell asleep, looking peaceful and happy. "Okay..." Ricky whispered softly, staring at her. "I'll...make it up to you..." He leaned closer, pulling harder on her shirt. "I'm sorry..." he said softly, kissing her lips. He pulled away, grabbing onto her other sleeve and pulling her shirt off, kissing her again. "I...love you..." he murmured, softly kissing her neck. Karen looked up at Ricky then down at her chest, her eyes widened. "...My...chest." she squeezed his shirt to look away. "Heal...it quickly...please.." she asked squeezing tightly. "It's...purple...why...is it purple.." Ricky put a glowing hand to her chest, looking away. "It's... I... I'm...sorry..." He whispered, glancing back as the purple slowly started to fade away. He reached up with his other hand, gently touching her cheek. "I'm...sorry..." "...It's okay..." Karen said softly hugging him while kissing him again. "...You didn't know what, you were doing." she looked down at Aram. "I don't think he was a mistake...I don't at all." "Neither...do I..." Ricky glanced at Aram, smiling softly at him. "I swore I'd never treat him like a mistake...ever..." He didn't take his hand away from her chest. "But... The way I acted... I... I can't apologize enough...for what I did..." He looked away. "Even if...I didn't know what I was doing...it was so unfair to you... And you were trying so hard not to be afraid... I'm...sorry..." He kissed her passionately, gently squeezing his hand. Karen closed her eyes and kissed him passionately back moaning quietly. "...I...know." she said pulling away looking up at him. "...Even now, it's...scary." she said looking away. "Everything went dark...when that happened...I don't remember, but...it's vivid when I was asleep...very Vivid." she leaned closer to him. "Make the pain...go away.." "I'm sorry..." Ricky whispered again, leaning closer. "I'm...trying...to make the pain go away... I'm sorry... I'm...sorry..." He kissed her lips softly, letting his hand move slowly down her stomach. He pulled out of the kiss, whispering in her ear. "I'm...sorry... I'll...try my best to help you..." He kissed her again, on the neck as his hand trailed down lower. Karen tilted her head to the side and blushed softly. "Ricky...what...if I...what if I went into your head...and...faced your 'snapping problem.'" she looked up at him. "Will...will that help you?" Ricky pulled away, not looking at her. "No..." he whispered softly, glancing quickly back at her. "No, I won't let you..." He shook his head, glaring at her. "No... I...won't let you into my head... I won't..." "Why...Why won't you let me...help you?" Karen asked with a pleading eye. "...I could save you, I could...from yourself.." she put her hands onto his arms. "Please...let me help you." "I..." Ricky looked away, not looking at her pleading eyes. "No, I'm not letting you into my head... Besides...you wouldn't want to see anything in there anyway..." He paused, still looking away. "It's...a mess...at the moment... I'm... I'm not exactly...okay right now...so...it's..." He shook his head, realizing he was rambling. "You're not getting in, so just stop asking me." "No." Karen said simpley moving forward even more. "Please let me in...I want to help you.." she squeezed his arms softly. "I need to help you..." "N-no..." Ricky whispered, halfheartedly trying to push her away. "Get...away...from me..." He turned his head away from her in a futile effort to keep her away from him. "I'm not letting you in...no matter how hard you try..." He closed his eyes, forming imaginary walls around his mind, trying desperately to keep her out. "You don't...want to see..." Karen frowned and moved closer to him. "Ricky...Why...I don't understand.." she asked staring at him with sad eyes. "I want to...help you...I want to make you better, and all of it will go away." she lifted up a hand it glowing purple. "Please..?" "No..." Ricky reached out with a glowing red hand, grabbing her wrist, burning it. "Don't...go in there... You're not going to like it... You don't want to be in my head..." He squeezed her wrist tightly. "And if you keep trying to get in, I'll have to stop you...forcefully." Karen winced and looked at his hand. "Ricky...please..." she said ignoring the pain in her hand and moving closer to him. "I...won't stop." "Get...away from me..." Ricky hissed softly, forming an ecto-beam in his hand. "Don't make me hurt you, Karen... I don't want to hurt you..." He held the ecto-beam up to her chest, not letting it go yet. "But if you don't stop... I... I will... I will hurt you..." "Make this...be your apology." Karen said staring at the ecto-beam then looking up at him making her other hand glow. "I'm...sorry." she said softly touching his head. "Y-you...idiot..." Ricky whispered, clutching his head, closing his eyes. "Get...out..." Inside his mind, visions of last night were everywhere - filling his thoughts with guilt and regret. They were so vivid and haunting, and they were everywhere. Small bits of other happier memories floated around as well, mostly involving Ricky being perverted with Karen. Ricky's last conscious thought before his eyes drooped shut was about how he wished Karen couldn't see what was constantly plaguing his mind. But before he could say anything else, his body lost consciousness, leaving only the perverted thoughts roaming around his head. Karen's eyes widened and she blushed deep red. "W-What on earth..." she whispered staring at he memories. "That pervert..." she whispered turning around seeing 'someone.' "Who's...who's there?" "I told you...it wasn't pretty..." Ricky muttered, staring at her with sad eyes. "Why couldn't you just listen to me for once...and stay out of my head...so you didn't have to see..." He stepped closer to her, folding his arms across his chest. "And...the fact that I'm...mentally unwell...isn't good, either... You should get out of here before you accidentally trigger something in this weak, unstable, little brain of mine...and make me snap..." He glared at a particularly vivid memory of last night floating by. "This is everything I see... Everything that haunts me now... You have no idea how guilty it makes me feel..." He stared down at his shoes. "No, you only know how much pain I caused you... But you'll never know what it's like to be in my position... Never..." Karen stepped towards him. "Ricky...that's...that's not true." she said softlly stepping towards him again. "I...I won't leave." she said stopping in front of him. "I'll, save you." Ricky stepped backwards as the sadness in his eyes faded, replaced with a glare. "Go...away... Just leave me alone..." He closed his eyes, shivering, clutching his head tightly. "You have to get out of here now... I... I think I'm...going to..." He stopped trembling, slowly taking his hands away from his head. "...snap..." he whispered softly, giving a sick grin as he looked over at Karen. Stepping closer to her, he smirked as more memories appeared. "Aww...look..." He pointed out an extremely vivid one floating aimlessly around his mind. "I'm such a pervert..." He grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, jerking her towards him. "But when I'm snapped...I can be much more than a pervert..." His eye twitched slightly as he formed an ecto-knife in his hand, running the flat side of the cold blade along her cheek. "I told you to leave me alone...otherwise I'd have to hurt you... Too bad you wouldn't listen..." Karen closed her eyes feeling the blade against her neck. "Ricky..." she whispered softly lifting up her hand to his wrist. "Stop acting like this." she said softly pushing his arm away then him away. "..I know...you're in there, and it doesn't matter...it doesn't matter if you'll kill me, I'm going to kill your 'snap', Ricky..." she formed two wind blades...wait...they didn't appear!? She looked down at her hands. "He's...in complete control, I can't use my ghost powers." a flash of terror went across her face staring at him stepping back away from him. "Well... I guess I have an...advantage..." Ricky smirked, pressing the blade of the knife against her neck, watching as a drop of blood trickled out. "But...looking at all these wonderful memories...turns me on..." He gave another sickening grin, pushing the knife against her harder. "Maybe...I could kill you but have some fun along the way..." He tilted his head to the side, raising an eyebrow. "Don't you remember how much fun last night was?" Karen's eyes widened closing her eyes. "Don't...remind me of that..." she said in a fearful voice. "...You hurt me...don't make me remember.." she saw flashes in her head and she opened her eyes. "...You...you're..." she had wide eyes. "Don't..." Ricky smirked, trailing the sharp blade of the knife down the side of her neck. "I think I will make you remember...but...what's the worst that could happen? We're in my head...who knows how much fun this will be?" He slid the knife blade down past her chest, past her stomach, still smirking. "Lots...and lots of fun...right?" Karen pushed him away and stepped back holding her head stepping away with wide eyes. "No...Don't..." she stared at him with pleading eyes. "Please!" she stepped towards him shivering she kissing him softly and lovingly. "Please...don't.." Ricky gave a soft moan of pain as she kissed him. He hastily jerked away, staggering backwards. "Stop it... Stop trying to ruin my fun! Stop trying to change my mind!" He pointed into empty space, and three images flickered to life in his mind. "See, these are some different types of fun... Since I'm so nice...I'll let you choose..." He put an arm around her shoulders, staring up at the perverted pictures floating slightly above their heads. "So, which one? Or do I have to choose for you? And don't you dare beg me to stop... I won't... Now choose.." Karen's face was red and she was trembling not saying anything she looked away from the perverted picture. "None of them..." she said hissing. "I'm not going to be used." she said glaring back at him. "...I won't..." "Okay, then..." Ricky smirked as the pictures disappeared. "I guess I'll have to choose for you..." He grinned, firmly grabbing her arm so she couldn't escape from him. "There's just one little problem..." He pulled her closer, raising an eyebrow. "You, ah...won't be needing your clothes..." Karen looked away and down at her clothes, tears in her eyes she took off her shirt then bra. Then her pants and underwear, she looked down not looking up at him sniffling and trembling at the same time she kept her head down. Ricky tilted up her chin, giving a sick grin. "Good girl..." he whispered softly, gently poking her chest with his knife. "If you keep cooperating, maybe I won't have to hurt you... And since you're being so good...I'll give you a second chance..." He smirked, letting the knife disappear from his hand. "How do you want to have our fun? And don't worry... This time, we won't have a little mistake like Aram..." Karen gulped looking away, "He's not a mistake..." she said trembling. "He's...not a mistake." she slapped his hand away. "I...don't want to have 'fun'...not when when you're like this.." "Come on..." Ricky whispered softly, shooting ecto-tape at her. It wrapped around her arms, tying them to her sides so she couldn't push him away. "I promise...this time will be better...no little mistakes...because that's what he is... He'll always be a mistake..." He created a knife, holding it up to her neck. "But...anyway...time to have fun..." He glanced down at the ecto-tape, raising an eyebrow. "Ecto-tape...is so boring... How about something more interesting...like..." He smirked. "...handcuffs?" Still giving her his twisted grin, Ricky made the tape disappear, replacing it with handcuffs that bound her hands together. "Much better... Now... What should we do next?" Karen backed away trembling falling to the ground, "...I've...I've just got to snap him out of it." she thought of only one way, get him so mad he'd kill her.. She glared up at him. "You idiot...he's not a mistake, he's your son!" she shouted up at him. "You're such an idiot!" she looked away. "You're my husband...I won't let you just us me as a thing you have fun with you...sick...twisted perverted idiot!" "So... You're not being a nice good girl anymore...?" Ricky glared at her, kneeling down beside her with a new knife in his hand. "You'll regret that, Karen... You'll definitely regret that..." He stabbed her in the stomach, pulling away the bloody knife, licking a drop of blood off of the tip of the blade. "You'd better keep quiet...or I'll be tempted to finish you off..." Karen hugged her stomach falling over onto herside. "...Finish me off..." she whispered breathlessly. "If...you do...you'll go back to normal..." she said gasping for air hugging her stomach. "You'll be the Ricky...I love.." "Shut up!" Ricky hissed, stabbing her in the back this time. "Shut up!" He watched as the blood formed in a puddle on the ground. "Shut...up..." His eyes widened as he reached down, touching the blood with a trembling hand. "...Karen..." Karen felt sick and dizzy, she spat out blood from her mouth. "Ta...take...care of...of Aram..." she whispered breathlessly falling to the ground dissappering and re-appearing outside next to Ricky and Aram. Ricky slowly opened his eyes, seeing Karen next to Aram. He felt a wave of exhaustion wash over him, and his eyes closed as he passed out. "Mamo!" Aram squealed gleefully, seeing her appear in front of him. "M-Mamo? Mamo! Whatsa wrog, Mamo!?" He started to cry, putting his arms around her. His hands were glowing slightly as he touched her. "Mamo! Wakki up... Mamo... Mamo... Wha Baka do, Mamo? Mamo...I wuff joo, Mamo... Be...okie..." Karen groaned silently and she tiredly opened her eyes. "...Aram...what..." she hugged him back. "Did...you...save me?" she asked quietly with teary eyes. "Aram...you..." she hugged him tightly. "...Thank you Aram...I love you.." Aram let out a shriek of happiness, hugging her tighter. "Mamo... Mamo, okie! Mamo, Mamo, Mamo!" He giggled happily, squeezing her shirt. "Mamo...ish okie..." He lifted up his head, smiling up at her. "Wuff joo...Mamo..." He pointed to Ricky. "Baka? Baka...okie?" Karen looked over at Ricky. "Ricky..." she whispered crawling close to him. "...Wake up.." she said shaking him. "Wake up..." she hugged Aram tightly. "Aram, you saved my life.." "I savva Mamo!" Aram squealed happily, still staring at Ricky. Imitating Karen, he reached out, gently shaking Ricky. "Baka, Baka! I savva...Mamo..." Ricky slowly opened his eyes, staring at Karen. There was so much pain in his eyes and he looked like he was going to cry. "Karen..." he whispered hoarsely, reaching out to her, gently taking her hand. "I'm...so sorry..." His eyes closed again and he shivered slightly. "So...sorry..." Karen put her hand ontop of his hand slowly pulling him into a hug, Aram in between them. "...I did this to you...is your snapping...problem finally gone..?" "I..." Ricky timidly hugged her back, closing his eyes. "I...don't know...but...we'll find out eventually...I guess..." "Baka...snappy?" Aram blinked, staring up at them with big maroon eyes. "Mamo, Baka...okie now?" "I'm...okay, Aram..." Ricky leaned close to whisper in Karen's ear. "I... I didn't mean it... Calling him a mistake... I...didn't mean it... I promise..." Karen nodded softly looking down at Aram. "I understand..." she said to him quietly looking up at him for a second then back down at Aram. "...Aram, daddy get angry sometimes because of me...but don't worry...he's okay.." "Baka, okie!" Aram smiled up at them. The smile faded as he murmured, "Baka...angy a Mamo?" "No, Aram..." Ricky whispered, resting his head on Karen's shoulder. "We're okay now... We're okay..." He gave a faint smile, closing his eyes. "You'll get to meet your big sister soon... I think you'll like her..." Karen closed her eyes and looknig down at him smiling. "Yeah...let's...let's go to her right now." she said putting her shirt back on standing up week-kneed and phasing threw the ceiling. She stopped moving seeing Edward next to her naked..."What...on...earth?" she stepped back covering Aram's eyes. "Mamo!" Aram tried to pull Karen's hand away from his eyes. "Mamo, I wann' see!" Ricky phased up with them, twitching slightly as he glared at Edward. "I'll...kill...him...if he did anything to Amy..." His voice was a low, sharp hiss. "I'll...kill him..." Aaron, in Edward's body, opened his eyes, smiling as he saw Amy beside him. "Hello, my clueless little sw--" He blinked, turning around, seeing Karen, Ricky, and Aram. Letting out a cry of surprise, he pulled up the blanket, covering himself. "What do you think you're doing!?" Karen handed Aram to Ricky fixing her sleeves she stepped over to them hitting Edward over the head. "Mom...?" Amy moaned quietly opening her eyes widening covering herself as well. "Why are you here!?" "Amy, this isn't Edward..." Karen said glaring at him. "It's not him.." Aaron blinked, making a clueless innocent face. "Amy..." he whispered softly, moving closer to her. "What's she talking about?" "That's...your sister...Amy..." Ricky muttered, pointing in their direction, still twitching slightly. "Ay-mee..." Aram murmured softly, reaching out towards Edward. "Ay? Ay-mee... Ay-meeee..." "N-no... That's not Amy... His name is..." Ricky paused, smirking. "You can call him 'moron'. Can you say moron?" "Mor-on. Mooor-on." Aram smiled, pointing to Edward. "Ay-mee ish a mor-on." "No!" Ricky whispered, sighing. "Amy and 'Moron' are two different people!" He gave another aggravated sigh, putting a hand to his head. "Jeez..." "...Not Edward?" Amy looked at Edward's eyes...blue...again. She frowned making her hand go intangable and pushed out Aaron. "Why...why do you keep following me!?" she asked glaring at him. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" "Because..." Aaron grinned at her. "Because you're my clueless, adorable little sweetheart, that's why!" He turned away to hide the pain on his face. Edward blinked, staring at Amy. "Amy...what...happened...?" He glanced at Aaron. "Why is...he...here...?" Amy looked at Aaron then at Edward. "He over shadowed you...and made you...sleep with me." she glared up at him hissing softly. "You touch me one more time, and I'll kill you...you damn selfish...aragent pervert.." Edward blinked. "He made me...?" He turned to look at Aaron. "He..." He bent his head down, looking away. Aaron took a step backwards, looking away with a pained face again. "H-hey, I was just... I..." He shook his head. "C-come on, sweetheart... You're being so...cold..." Ricky glared at Aaron with more hatred than when he glared at Edward. "So...it was you..." he hissed softly. "I'll let Amy take care of you..." He gave a small smirk, whispering to himself. "Go get him, Amy... Hit him for me..." Amy stood up still clentching the blanket around her, she pulled back her hand and sent and ecto beam at him. "You idiot!" she shouted seeing him dissapper she trembled closing her eyes falling to her knees. "That...idiot...slept with me.." Aaron just disappeared, phasing out of the hotel through the wall. He floated dejectedly to an empty balcony, sitting down on the railing. "She...really does hate me..." he murmured, staring down at the ground, keeping his head bent down. "Well... I guess I'll just have to try harder..." He forced a cheery smile onto his face, not looking up. - - - Edward knelt down beside her, hugging her gently. "Amy... I'm sorry..." He closed his eyes, putting his head down on her shoulder. "I should be more careful...or he'll just keep using me... But how do I...defend myself against him? I don't have special powers like yours... What do...I do?" Ricky glared at the spot Aaron had been before he disappeared. "That...idiot... If I find him, he'll die..." "Ay-mee!" Aram squealed as Ricky put him down on the ground. He crawled over to Edward and Amy. "Ay-mee ish a mor-on! Mor-on, mor-on!" He smiled up at them, pointing to Edward. "Mor-on. Ay-mee ish a mor-on!" Amy looked down at Aram, "Who's this?" she asked looking over at her dad. "He's saying moron...daddy." she glared at him then looked down at Aram. "And who might you be, are you a cousin I didn't know about?" she asked smiling while hugging him. "...Actuly...his your brother." Karen said looking away. "My brother!?" she looked over at them. "Sence when did I have a brother? What happened?" "You..can tell her, Ricky." Karen said looking away. Aram looked from Ricky to Karen, then back at Amy. "Mamo saysa Baka hassa rape!" he cried out, breaking the silence. Ricky flinched visibly, wishing Aram had known what he was saying, wishing Aram wasn't so blunt... "A-Aram..." he whispered softly, not looking at Amy. "Mamo, Baka, okie now!" Aram hugged Amy gently. "Mor-on... Ay-mee...wuff joo..." "R-Rape...you rapped mom?" Amy sounded shocked and suprised staring at Ricky. "He...he snapped..." Karen whispered defending him. "He can't control himself, whenever he snaps..." Amy hugged Aram back. "I love you too...Aram..." she stared sadly over at her parents. "...Is he a mistake?" "Aram...isn't a mistake..." Ricky whispered, still not looking at any of them. He wished he could just disappear, but he couldn't seem to move or be able to use his powers. "We're never going to treat him like a mistake...ever..." "Notta misteek..." Aram whispered softly, grabbing onto Amy's shirt, resting his head against her chest. "Ay-mee... Baka... Mamo..." he murmured, looking at each person in the room. He turned to Edward, pointing a tiny finger at him. "Mor-on..." Edward blinked, staring at Aram. "And who told you that was my name?" he said softly, raising an eyebrow at Ricky. "Baka!" Aram squealed, pointing to Ricky. "Of course..." Edward muttered. Amy looked down at Aram and hugged him softly. "Aram, I'll treat you like my little brother..." she whispered hugging him tightly. "I promise..." Karen stepped back next to Ricky. "...Are...you okay?" she asked looking down at the ground. "Okie, Ay-mee..." Aram mumbled softly, snuggling against her. "An' I'mma treat joo...likka mor-on..." He closed his eyes, feeling tired. "Wuf...joo..." Ricky shook his head, still staring down at the ground. "N-no...I'm not okay... I still...can't forget last night...and today..." He shook his head again, closing his eyes. "I can't get rid of those memories... They're always there..." Amy shot a glare at Ricky before looking down at Aram. "Good night, Aram..." Karen looked up at him flinching slightly. "...Ricky..." she whispered stepping towards him. "Amy, watch your little brother for us please..." she timidly put her arms around Ricky and phased threw the ground landing on the bed below she pinned him to it. "Ricky, don't...feel bad...please don't.." she tilted her head down. "I...can't stand seeing you in pain.." Edward gave Aram a little half-smile. "Hey...maybe when you wake up I can teach you how to say Edward..." He lowered his voice. "Not moron..." "Okie..." Aram mumbled softly, slowly falling asleep. "Ed-wer ish a mor-on..." - - - Ricky looked away, not making eye contact. "But... The pain...will never go away... I can't change what happened...and those memories are always going to stay..." He closed his eyes, shivering. "They're all so clear... I just want them to go...away..." Karen squeezed her hands shut around his wrists. "But they can go away...you can push them away..." she said tilting her head down letting his wrists go and putting them onto his chest before putting her head down. "Please...you can push them away..." "I... I can't..." Ricky whispered, looking away. "They're...everywhere..." He squeezed his eyes shut, shivering. "I can't stop thinking about them, or seeing them... It's because of my guilt..." He opened his eyes, staring sadly at her. "This guilt...will never go away...and neither will the memories... I just can't push them away..." He shivered again. "I...can't..." Karen slowly got off of him and looked down. "But why...why can't you just forget it?" she looked at the wall. "You can...I know...you can just forget about them..." "Because... It's...so clear..." Ricky stared at her, shivering again. "Every time I close my eyes or let my mind wander... Those memories are always there... I can't push them away..." He held his head in his hands. "No matter how hard I try... I...don't know...how...to forget..." Karen turned around and pushed him down, keeping her head down. "Just stop it..." she whispered passionately kiss him making sure her chest was against his pushing against him. "Please...just stop it..." she made her hand glow and she burned off the shirt cutting it and then pulled it away from him firmly kissing him. Ricky blushed lightly, kissing her back as he put his arms around her. He carefully burned and cut her shirt, still kissing her at the same time. Pulling away from the kiss, he pulled the shirt away, tossing it to the side. "You can help me forget..." he whispered softly, staring at her. "I don't...want to remember what happened last night...every time I look at Aram..." He leaned closer, whispering softly. "Help me..." He kissed her passionately, closing his eyes, putting his arms around her again. Karen looked up at him passionately kissing him back, "Ricky...I'm going to...try my best." she said softly kissing him firmly then pulling. "...I love you.." "I love you too, Karen..." Ricky whispered softly, staring at her. "I'm sure if you try your best... Everything will turn out okay..." He kissed her softly, running a gentle hand down her back. Karen stared at him sadly. "I am...trying my best..." she said softly kissing him on the lips again. "I'm always trying my best..." "I know... I know you are..." Ricky whispered softly. "And...believe it or not... I was always trying my best..." He looked away. "I tried my best not to hurt you...not to snap...but...it was never enough..." He leaned closer, sliding one hand to her chest. "Maybe...your best...will be better than mine... Thank you for helping me..." He kissed her passionately on the lips, slowly trailing a kiss down to her neck. "Thank you..." Karen tilted her head to the side blushing. "Ricky...I...I'll try harder..." she said closing her eyes trying to calm her beating heart. "I...promise.." Since their chests were pressed together, Ricky felt Karen's heart beating against him, which made his own heart beat speed up for some reason. "Thank you..." He gave a small smile. "I'll try harder too... I'll try my best to apologize... I'm so sorry..." He kissed her lips softly as his heart beat started to speed up even more. Karen slowly pulled out of the kiss and looked away. "Maybe...You're...just...we're just..." she closed her eyes. "Maybe...we weren't..." she shook her head. "No...nevermind, It's to...to painful to think about..." "What are you talking about?" Ricky pulled away from her, trying to control his temper. "What are you talking about!?" he shouted, even though he thought he knew what she was trying to say. "What do you mean!?" Karen tilted her head down so her bangs covered her eyes. "...Maybe we weren't...meant...to be together." she said keeping her head down. "...What...if everything's...a lie?" "No one is 'supposed' to be together!" Ricky couldn't stop himself from raising his voice. "You make a choice to decide who you love! There's no right or wrong answer!" He tried desperately to hold himself back. He didn't want to hurt her, not again... "You're not making any sense!" Karen tilted her head up staring at him. "Ricky..." she whispered sadly looked away after a second. "...I don't...know if we...should have gotten married.." Ricky started to shout again, but all that came out of his mouth was a sad, confused little squeak. "Wh-what...are you..." He trailed off, staring at her with hurt, angry eyes. He was so angry, but he didn't seem to be able to raise his voice. "Karen... Don't people get married when they love each other...?" He was trembling, staring at her. "I don't understand... I love you... But then...that means..." He looked down, feeling unshed tears of anger sting his eyes. "You... You don't...do you...?" Karen looked away. "This is the only way...for him...to be happy.." she thought looking back at him. "...I don't love you..." she said staring at him. "I'm sorry.." Ricky's mouth fell open slightly and he stared silently at her for a moment. "Wh-what?" he whispered, bending his head back down to hide his wet eyes. "It...hurts... Why do you always have to hurt me?" He tilted his head back up, staring at her with tear-filled eyes, putting a hand to his heart. "I... I hate you..." he whispered softly, turning away as tears trickled down his cheeks. Karen looked away and stepped back against the wall looking down. "...I understand..." she said in a hurt voice. "I...I'm leaving..." Ricky turned back to her, staring with wide eyes. "L-leaving... No, not again... Please...no..." He put a hand to his head, trembling. "Please... I... I didn't mean it..." He bent over, still clutching his chest where his heart was. "It...hurts...so much..." He closed his eyes, forming an ecto-knife in his hand. "If you...have to leave... Bye, then..." he murmured softly, holding the knife up to his heart. "I'll miss you, Karen..." His hand trembled as he slowly pushed the blade into his chest, bleeding and crying. Karen turned around with wide eyes, she quickly ran over to him pulling the blade out of his chest. She threw the blade away and slapped him across the face. "You idiot why are you always acting like this!?" she blurted out keeping her eyes closed. "Why do you always act depressed!?" she shouted at him hugging him tightly...the blood staining her bra. "Why do you...always hurt yourself?" "You're...leaving... You don't love me..." Ricky whispered softly, feeling his face sting where she had slapped him. "It hurts too much... I wanted to make it stop hurting..." He kept his head tilted down. "If you just let me die, then the pain would be gone..." He pushed her away. "Why would you care, anyway?" He turned away. "You don't love me anymore... Did you ever love me, or was it a lie...? Every time you told me...you loved me... I always told you...I loved you too... And I meant it..." "Stop it..." Karen hissed softly staring at him. "I've always loved you...you idiot..." she said tilting her head down. "Always...I'll always...love you." she stared at him shivering. "Why...are you always like this!?" "Because... You make me act like this..." Ricky hissed softly, binding her hands together with ecto-tape. "Oh, wait... I forgot... Don't you prefer handcuffs?" He smirked, replacing the tape with glowing ectoplasmic handcuffs. "You make me act like this, with all the pain you put me through... It hurts so much..." He tossed a knife at her, scraping her cheek. "Time to hurt you, Karen... It's your turn..." Karen gasped as the knife skimmed her cheek she stared at him timidly putting a hand on her cheek. "Ricky..." she whispered as her binded hands went back down and she tried stepping away from him. "Why..." "B-Because..." Ricky whispered softly, forming another knife. "Do you really want me to kill myself? There are two options... I can take it out on somebody..." He threw the knife, scraping her other cheek. "...like you... Or I can take it out on myself..." He held up a new knife to her neck. "You decide..." Karen closed her eyes trembling. "You...you can...take it out on me..." she said shivering. "You can..." "Why did you tell me...you didn't love me...?" Ricky whispered, pressing the knife against her neck. "Why did you tell me that if it was just a lie!? Do you still think we shouldn't be married!?" His voice cracked as he continued pushing the knife harder against her. "Answer me..." "I...was worried...that it wasn't real...that it was a lie." Karen closed her eyes. "People who love eatch other don't hurt...each other..." "You told me...you loved me..." Ricky pulled the knife away from her throat. "Then why do you hurt me so much!? I only hurt you...because you cause me so much pain..." He leaned closer, whispering in her ear as he held the blade to her neck again. "And it was real... It wasn't a lie... I'd never lie to you..." Karen opened her eyes looking at the blade. "...Then why are you holding that up...to my neck...if you never mean to hurt me?" she asked looking up at him with sad eyes. "Tell me why..." "It's...because..." Ricky stared down at her sad eyes as the knife faded from his hand. "Because...I..." He tilted his head down. "I..." He lowered his voice to a soft whisper. "I...don't know..." Karen trembled and tilted her head down. "Ricky...You're hurting...I know...I've tried helping you but...I always...hurt you." she stepped back again. "I'm sorry.." "Telling me you don't love me... Saying you don't think we should've gotten married..." Ricky didn't look up. "You call that helping? That's what hurts me, Karen... Things like that...are what cause me so much pain..." He stepped towards her as she stepped back, pinning her against the wall. "That's...not even trying to help..." Karen looked up at him. "If I say that...then everything will just stop!" she said shivering. "Everything...is...not what it seems.." she said closing her eyes. "...I'm going...to leave you alone, so you can...be okay.." "Nothing can just stop..." Ricky whispered, grabbing her wrist so she couldn't leave. "Don't you dare leave... Don't you dare... You think leaving me alone will make anything stop?" He tightened his grip, glaring at her. "You're...not helping..." Karen winced and stared at him. "I'll...I don't know." she whispered softly looking away. Ricky glared at her. "You don't know..." He stared down at his hand, holding tightly to her wrist. "Just don't leave... That won't help... It'll only make it...worse..." He squeezed her wrist tightly. "Don't you dare leave..." Karen winced again. "I'm...I'm not going anywhere..." she said staring at him. "I-I promise.." Ricky nodded. "I wouldn't let you...even if you tried to leave..." He remained silent for a few minutes, staring at her with sad eyes. "Karen... Do you still think...we shouldn't be married...? Just say...yes or no..." He looked away. "And don't say 'I don't know'... Just yes...or no..." Karen stared at him then looked away. "You keep hurting me...I...don't know the answer.." she looked up at him. "...I...would say yes..." Ricky froze, staring silently at her. "Yes..." he squeaked out. "Yes...as in, Yes, you still think we shouldn't be married...?" He shivered, still holding tightly to her wrist. "I'm...not trying to hurt you... I don't want to hurt you..." Karen looked away nodding softly. "If we never even met...you wouldn't be hurting..." she said keeping her head down. "You're right..." Ricky whispered, tilting his head down. "And I'd still be a cold, heartless killer..." He glanced at her, quickly looking away. "Well, I...guess I still am... But if we hadn't met...I wouldn't care about anyone... I wouldn't know what love is..." He pulled her by the wrist, bringing her closer. "I wouldn't have two wonderful children..." He hugged her gently. "I wouldn't have you..." Karen's eyes widened then they closed her eyes. "Ricky..." she said hearing his voice crack then hugged him back. "Ricky...I'm sorry I said...that..." she said with wet eyes. "I'm so sorry.." "Stop it... Stop...saying you're sorry..." Ricky hugged her tighter. "Why are you saying you're sorry...when I'm the one that hurt you so much...?" He gently touched the scrape on her cheek, staring at the blood on his hand. "I'm the one that makes you bleed... The one that makes you cry... Don't...say you're sorry..." Karen closed her eyes and tilted her head down. "Okay..." she said softly sighing deeply. "I..will.." she said closing her eyes. "I will...not hurt you anymore...I promise.." "Okay..." Ricky whispered, hugging her tightly. "I'm sorry... I never meant to hurt you... I know you said...people who love each other don't hurt each other...but..." He gently touched her neck, healing the cut he had made. "I love you... I really do..." Karen nodded. "I...okay..." she said softly. "I love you too..." she slowly pulled away. "Ricky...let's...let's go back." Ricky nodded, gently taking her hand. "My head...feels...weird..." he murmured, putting a hand up to his forehead. "Karen, I feel...really...weird..." Shaking his head, he reached out to heal her cheek, but as soon as he started using his powers he cried out in pain. "K-Karen... I... I don't...feel so...good..." He fell to his knees as his eyes started to glow a deep red color. "What...did...you...do?" he whispered, staring down at his hands, which were now both glowing red with untapped ectoplasmic energy. He lifted his head up, staring at her with blood red eyes. He gave a sick smirk, revealing vicious, pointed teeth. "I need to kill somebody..." he hissed softly in a different voice than his own. "Somebody...is going to die..." Karen's eyes widened and she stepped towards him. "You...you look like a...demon." she whispered quietly. "Is this...what's been bothering you..?" she asked putting a hand into his shoulder. "Ricky?" she gasped looking at his teeth then at his hands, then his eyes. "You're...Ricky...you're a demon.." Smirking, Ricky blasted her against the wall using the red energy in his hands. "I'll...be right back..." he hissed softly, phasing up through the ceiling. He stared at Amy, Aram and Edward, deciding who to kill first. Aaron phased invisibly into the room, staring at Amy with a slight smile on his face. Ricky sensed him immediately, sending a blast of red energy at the invisible Aaron. Aaron let out a cry of pain as he slammed back against the wall, becoming visible, squeezing his eyes shut. "A-Amy... Run..." he whispered, staring at Ricky with half-open eyes. "Somebody's...going to die..." Ricky hissed at Aaron as his hands glowed brighter. Edward's eyes widened slightly, and he couldn't move. He was frozen with shock and fear. "B-Brother..." Karen's breath was knocked out of her as she hit the wall. She winced standing up hearing a boom from below her. "Oh...no...Aram...Amy.." she phased threw the floor quickly appearing in front of Ricky blocking his way to Aaron. "Stop it Ricky!" she said out stretching her arms. "Mom!" Amy screamed out clentching Aram in her hands staring at her. "What's wrong with dad?" "Something demonic took him over..." Karen said still out streching her arms, taking two steps back steping next to Aaron making her hand glow a calm purple, she healed him. "Are you okay?" she asked not taking her eyes off of Ricky.
