Sophia moved about the small down doing her normal errends. Her dark red hair that had been pulled back into two ponytails, stood out among the mostly blond-haired village. Her blue eyes looked over her completed list, smiling contently. She ruffled her tan skirt as she entered the tiny home at the edge of the village. Her parents were out working still, and being an only child was tiring sometimes. Placing the basket filled with fruits onto the table she let out a small sigh and sat down on the stairs to cool off slightly. Lifting her hand to light the room she was in, a small orb of light floated to the roof top to give her light. As Sophia arrived home, a large explosion rocked the tiny village in the light province, and the sound of screams began to stream further into the town from the outskirts, smoke rising in the distance. People began to stream out of their houses to see what was wrong as the screams grew louder, and another explosion went off, this time from the west, and further towards the center of town. Chaos broke loose as the confused residents tried to make their way out of the town and explosions continued to sounds in the distance, moving closer. As some parents herded their children out of town, the stronger members of town began moving towards the explosions, pushing against the crowd to fight their way into the village. As Sophia looked outside, a family friend spied her through the window and frantically rushed to the door. "Sophia, come, quickly, we have to go! Our village is under attack!" "What?" Sophia said sounding shocked, but didn't stay there to question it. Turning and going to the cabnets, she grabbed a few things to change into just in case and a piece of bread from the table. "I just finished shopping too.." she said to herself, before pushing the door open and running out into the frantic croud. She soon froze in place noticing blood on the ground and men on horses. Why were they attacking the light village? It didn't make any since. But the blood on the ground in front of her paralized her from moving. "Move, Sophie...move.." she whispered to herself losing the battle and falling to her knees. Her small bag falling next to her as a shadow over took the light coming down on her. As Sophia fell to the ground, seemingly paralyzed with fear, the attackers dropped to the ground to surround her, laughing and standing over her, one moving behind and pulling her to her feet as the others surrounded her. He grabbed her in a choke hold, though he wouldn't apply much pressure, simply holding her in place and laughing as his friends took turns feeling her up. "Hey guys, this one looks like a keeper. Maybe we should take her with us... be a shame to kill a nice piece of tail like her." However, as the men began to drag her off, ropes coming out to bind her, the man holding onto her slumped suddenly as a hard chop aimed for the back of his head made contact, and he loosened his grip on the girl. "What the he--" One of the other men yelled before he was tripped, a second assailant leaping seemingly from nowhere to sweep out his legs from under him. As he fell to the ground, a blade made of ice crystalized from nowhere, forming along the second attacker's arm which was brought down, stabbing into the fallen man, blood covering the blade. The remaining three got into combat stances and faced off against Sophia's rescuers, one of whom was clearly a woman. One of Sophia's kidnappers fired off a pillar of flames towards the man, not caring that Sophia was in the way. The man slammed his fists into the ground, a pillar of earth shooting up in the ground in front of her, blocking the flames, before leaping over the wall. The woman followed her companion's example, slamming the ground with her fists as well, though with a different effect; the ground beneath the three began to open up beneath them. One was caught offguard, falling into the pit below as the walls closed in on him, crushing him to death, though the other two were able evade, leaving themselves wide open to the next attack in doing so. Blindsiding the two, the man and woman launched a joint assault, a deluge of water engulfing them from the woman, and with them submerged briefly in water, an electrical assault from the man ended their lives. With the attackers dead, the two turned their attention to the stunned Sophia. "What should we do?" The woman asked, looking to her companion. The man surveyed her from behind his shroud, before glancing back to the woman. "Better take her with us. You know what to do." He replied. "Get her to Kale, then help the rest with the evacuation." The woman nodded and approached Sophia. "Sorry hon, lights out for now. Don't worry, you'll be alright." A strange smelling gas was blown into her face, knocking her out nearly instantly, and the woman picked her up over her shoulder to make her escape, Sophia in tow. Sophia didn't know what was going on, but when she awoke she was in someones cabin. Sitting up her red hair had been taken down and fell along her face as she quivered slightly. She brought the blanket that was over her to her face to try and calm herself. "Where am I?" she whispered standing up and going to the door in front of her slowly she opened it up. Almost as soon as she opened it up, she closed it. There were men and women she hadn't reconized. Stepping back she went back over to the bed and sat down.
