"Maxwell! Stay still.." Anya said putting her cat down onto the floor. "I'm trying to perfect this spell...but you jumping around and getting in the way isn't helping me." her blue eyes glared at her cat, before she went back to mixing her potion. Lifting up her hand towards the items, she hadn't been watching Max and it had hit him in the side. Smoke began to rise in the small cabin. She covered her face from the smoke and began to cough. "Maxwell! Are you alright...?" she asked her brown hair falling over her shoulder, as she tried to push the smoke aside. Maxwell loved his master, not that he could tell her since he was a cat. He was a fluffy orange tabby, his stripes were much darker than his fur. He jumped up onto the table, meowing at her, a pur rumbling in his chest. She was quick to put him back on the floor. He meowed again before jumping back on the table, only to have the spell she was doing hit him in the side. Smoke filled the cabin and Max felt...strange. He heard her call out to him and he coughed and rubbed his face with his paw...hand?! Max stared at himself, his orange hair that was highlighted with a dark orange - as if striped - fell in front of his bright green eye. "Merow?" he sounded wrong, too deep and too...human. He was a human teenager - a naked human teenager at that, sitting in his master's room. "M...Master?" his voice sounded something between a purr and an actual human voice. What had happened? "Max...well?" she began to say, before a dark blush went over her face. "Who are you!?" she shouted throwing a book at him, then a blanket. "G-Get out..you pervert!" she shouted covering her eyes. Maxwell stared at Anya. Her face turned red and she shouted at him. He was used to that and he scrambled away, not wanting to get splashed with water or some other fate simliar to that. She started shouting for him to get out but he stopped then, turning to face her. "Bu...But master! I thought you loved Maxwell!" His look turned devestated in an instant. He looked truly upset by her words, he didn't know what had happened...Why was she so mad at him? "...Maxwell is my cat..you're not him!" she said stepping back, before noticing Maxwells eyes and hair color. "Whoa whoa..wait...you were hit with my spell.." she turned her head away and trembled slightly. "You're human now..so put clothes on please." she said gently to him. There were two points in his hair, that nearly looked cat ears and they were lowered, his eyes looked more like a cat's. Then she suddenly seemed to realize what happened. "Yeah, yeah~!" he agreed with her words, nodding his head. Then she turned her head away. "Clothes?" he questioned. "But why...why can't I run around like I always do? Max is still a cat~! Merow~!" "Because!" Anya lifted up her hand at some fabric in the corner, chanting a small spell and they formed into a pair or pants and a shirt. "You're human now. And you need to wear clothes." she tossed them at him and continued to look away. "Get dressed, Maxwell.." She made clothes for him, he watched her use her magic to do it. His eyes became sharp at hte small light that flashed. He shook his head and looked at her again, only in time to catch the pants and shirt. He frowned at them. "Okay...only because Anya says so" he muttered, sounded defeated. He put the clothes on, and thought it took a while, he finally got dressed. Afterwards he ran over to Anya and threw his arms around her waist, almost as he if he was going to jump on her lap. "Okay master~ I put on the clothes~ Max is a good boy, right~?" Anya looked up at him shocked and lifted up her hand to pat him on the head. "Y-Yes you are...now you can put me down so I can try and reverse this." she said looking away from him. "I don't even know how you turned human with that spell...dang it." she stepped away from him and sighed slightly. "Oh, and call me Anya...not master." He hadn't even realized that he had lifted her up. Maybe humans were stronger than he thought. But she did say he was a good boy, so he put her down, carefully. She then started talking about reversing the spell. "Just use the same spell again?" he suggested, tilting his head to the side slightly, giving him a very confused look. She stepped away and he followed on her heel as he would if he were still a cat. "Anya? But...You're Master~ Not Anya!" he protested, frowning. He was silent for a moment. "Master I'm hungry" he then said, his voice louder than it should have been. He didn't understand being a human. Legs and arms and talking? But still, he had to admit this was a little fun, even if it was a mistake Anya looked over her shoulder at him. "Go sit down, I'll get you some food." she said putting a hand onto his chest. "Stay, Maxwell." she ordered him and went to the fridge. Opening it up, she pulled out a thing of bread and cheese. "This is all we have..so you'll have to take it, alright?" she said placing it down in front of him. Maxwell sat down as he was told. He figured he better sit if he wanted that food. He sat down and she she put her hand on his chest, he looked at it curiously before looking up at her. She ordered him to stay and even though his body twitched slightly with the need to keep moving, he stayed and waited till she returned with bread and cheese. He sniffed at the bread. He wasn't too sure about that, so he took the cheese and began nibbling on it. "Don't we have any meat?" he asked, frowning. "Can I go catch a mouse?" He wondered if he could as a human. His brow furrowed. "Will I be able to hunt like this?!" he asked in dismay. He loved to hunt! How was he supposed to hunt?! "Humans hunt with swords, magic, arrows...so you'll have to learn that way." Anya said gently to him and sat down next to him, grabbing a piece of the bread. "You're going to sleep on the couch from now on, we can't share a bed you know." she said bitting into the bread. Swords, magic and arrows? Maxwell didn't want to learn how to hunt with any of those! By his tail...wait he didn't have a tail anymore...Well either way, he loved to stalk his prey torture it before eatting it. Then she sat next to him and ate the bread - which he wasn't going to eat anyway - and explained where he was going to sleep. "But how will I keep you warm at night if I'm on the couch? Why can't I share a bed with you anymore. I always share a bed with you!!" "You need to understand something..." she said putting the bread down, "Since you're a human...and male for that fact, you can't sleep in the same bed with me." she put her hand up and pat him on the top of his head. "It's something humans do when they are in a relationship." she sighed slightly before standing up. "I have a date tomorrow, so I need to trust that you know how to take care of yourself." When Anya said that he needed to understand he knew he wouldn't. She explained and he frowned. "But why can't I be in a relationship with you so that we can still share the bed?" She stood though and said about a date. He furrowed his brow. "Don't bring him here" he said, sounding frustrated and on the edge of hissing. He crossed his arms across his chest. "And I take care of myself any other day, don't I?" He just sounded irritated now or even like a pouting child "That would require I had feelings for you...like romantic feelings." Anya said stepping back, before looking up at him. "I'm aloud to bring anyone I want here." she said crossing her arms over her chest. "I was just saying, you haven't ever had a human body before." she looked away. "If I bring him here, don't misbehave." "But I love my master" He said pouting yet. He huffed out an annoyed sigh. Humans were so weird. She sounded offended that he told her not to bring the guy home "And I'm allowed to scratch anyone I want" He snapped, looking away. This was HIS home, he wasn't having some idiot guy come here and invade HIS territory! "I won't make any promises" He said simply, looking out the window instead of at her. She couldn't blame him if he did. He didn't like other cats on the property, why would he like other humans? Anya sighed and crossed her arms. "I'm going to bed...good night, Maxwell." she said walking out of the room and into her room. Closing the door she let out a small sigh and began to get dressed for bed. Max watched Anya go, now feeling bad since he had obviously made her mad. He sat where he was head lowered and frowning. Then silently as if he were still a cat he padded over to her door and opened it slowly peeking in. She was changing, but it wasn't like he cared. He had seen her change when he was a cat. Without warning, he jumped to hug her, wrapping his arms around her and squeezing her. "Master!! Max is sorry!! Please forgive me?!" Anya blushed a dark red, "I-I forgive you.." she said pushing away from him and covering up her chest with her arms. "You have to knock befor entering now, Maxwell..I-I was changing.." She had red on her face again and Max didn't understand. She pushed him away and covered up her chest. Again he didn't understand. She told he had to knock. That was silly, he never had to knock before. "Master - your face is all red. Are you okay?" He said. He couldn't help but glance at her arms again. He poked at her one arm. "Why are your arms like that? Are you trying to hide something?" "Yes, my breasts." Anya said bluntly to him, stepping back to grab her blanket. "Humans hide certian parts...to have privacy." she put her back to him, "Go into the living room, I'll be there in a second so I can cast a spell to teach you how to act.." He blinked. "Why? Cats don't" he answered. Actually he didn't like wearing the clothes he was. She grabbed her blanket and ordered him out to the living room. He sighed and left, closing the door behind him. Out in the living room he removed his shirt, throwing it on the floor, staring at it like it was a creature. He didn't understand all this human business. With that thought he streched out on the couch, lying on his back. He had to sleep there anyway since he didn't have a "relationship" with Anya Anya got dressed in her night gown and then went out into the living room. "Now then...this will help you." she said lifting up her hand and chanting a small spell so he would learn of being a human male with in that night. "Go to sleep, Maxwell.." she said gently to him as she placed him on the couch. Maxwell didn't want to learn how to be a human. He couldn't tell her that. But still, even if he knew how to be a human, he knew how to be a cat better. He was streched across the couch and after she had muttered her spell he rolled to his side and grabbed her nightgown. "Master can't I please sleep by you?" he asked, "I always do" And he alway did, back when he had been a cat. He actually didn't like the idea of being a human and sleeping alone. It seemed almost...scary Anya looked down at Maxwell, before bending down to him. "You can't Max...you'll understand in the morning why." she said standing back up. "I'll leave the door open alright? It'll be like we're in the same room." Max frowned at his master as she walked away. He ddin't care if he would understand in the morning. He rolled back onto his back. He covered his eyes with his hand and closed his eyes...Well, he supposed he could have it worse. He could have been turned into a dog...that would have been ALOT worse. He closed eyes, hoping to be able to fall asleep soon. Anya fell asleep, but woke up in the middle of the night due to a warmth over coming her arms. "...Max, I told you to sleep in the living room.." she whispered to him. Max couldn't sleep in the living room by himself. He couldn't...sooo...He climbed into bed with his master to sleep by her. He climbed into bed and nudged himself under arms, the way he usually slept but she woke up. He looked up and her and contuined with getting himself comfort able. "I can't sleep..." he whisepred back. "...But I told you..." Anya began before sighing. "Nevermind.." she said curling back up on the bed. Maxwell hoped she didn't kick him out, he didn't want to be kicked of the room. He wanted to stay with her all night, like he did back when he was a cat. She then said nevermind and curled up on the other side of the bed. "merow...." he whispered lightly, unable to help the disapointed sound and then he curled up, nearly touching her and went to sleep Anya turned over into her sleep. Her breasts fell onto Maxwells hand. She sighed gently, and snuggled up to Maxwell. Maxwell clung to Anya, wanted to be close but had no idea that he happened to also be gropping her as he did. Anya's breathing slowly picked up as he gropped her. Shifting in her sleep, she openeed her eyes slowly. "M-Maxwell..." Max was stirred by Anya saying his name. He opened his eyes sleeply. He looked at her. "Master?" his voice was sleepy and tired. He looked at her, his eyes partially open. "Y-You're groping me.." Anya said in a whisper as she looked up at him. "...Stop please." "Neh?" he answer. He looked at his hand and quickly removed his hand from her breast. "Oh...Sorry..." Anya turned over breathing in and out slowly. "G-Go back to sleep." she said putting her blanket up and over her breasts.
